CERTAIN REPAIRS TO FENCING, COMPOUND WALL, GATE AND OTHER MISC BR WORKS UNDER GE (ARMY) TRIVANDRUM

Amount

Taking down of cement plaster, any description, including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work/ PCC block / stone walls built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars and removing the debris/ rubbish to a distance not exceeding 100 mtr complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for pre-cast cement concrete block masonry type C1, 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded aggregate) with solid blocks exceeding 10 cm in width and setting in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering in two layers 10mm thick with cement mortar (1:4) and 5 mm thick with cement mortar (1:4), finishing coat mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by the weight of cement on fair faces of brick work in external surfaces of wall complete all as specified and directed. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick cement plaster on fair faces of brick work/ concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying two coats of acrylic exterior emulsion anti-fungal paint over a coat of primer including preparation of new surfaces of external walls as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4, Type B1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section embedded in natural ground, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in hard/ dense soil each not exceeding 0.50 cu.m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and making good surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC Type C2, 1:3:6 (using 40mm graded granite stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing precast reinforced cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (20 mm graded aggregate) in posts, fencing posts, straining or terminal posts, struts etc. for fencing, average sectional area exceeding 100 sq.cm and not exceeding 250 sq.cm, with or without chamfered angles and flat, splayed, rounded or mitred tops complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for TMT steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for TMT steel bars 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia for stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling existing rusted wire/ barbed wire from posts, struts etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S&F galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only chain link MS galvanised fencing, any size or type complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only galvanised mild steel plain wire, any size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only mild steel screw bolts (machine made) length of bolt exceeding 5cm but not exceeding 10cm long and diameter of neck 11 mm to 15 mm, with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only chain link MS galvanisd fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note: MS plain wire, nuts, bolts, rails will be measured and paid separately.

S&F mild steel works for posts and struts in fencing or similar works including securing bolts; including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 1.00 mm thickness mild steel, plain, black sheet in wall cladding, steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of steel and iron work of any description over 10 cm width or girth with applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer etc complete all as specified and directed.
