Note :The unit rate quoted by the tenderer under Col No (13) of Sch `A’ (BOQ) unless specifically mentioned otherwise such as labour only/fixing only, for all items of works shall be deemed to be including cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants, testing and commissioning of work in position complete as required for entire completion of work.

Brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement sand mortar 1:6 complete in and including demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc for the area where unservicable bricks retrived and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Servicable bricks retrived from demolition of this item shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old bricks under item No.3.00 below.

Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor.

Providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0, using 12.5 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates set in cement mortar 1:4 as louvres and jallies,25mm thick (measured solid), in cluding all mouldings but excluding frame in and including dismantling one way trellis work (Jafri) including taking as under of battens in trellis (posts and rails measured separately) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of new plastered or unplastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white washing , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of new plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper including priming with alkali resistant priming paint preparatory to distempering , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Quoted rate shall be deemed to include for necessary scaffolding & formwork for building upto 15m high. (ii) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor.

Preparation of newly plastered /unplastered surfaces of walls/ceiling and applying two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/ litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489: 2004, alkali & fungal resistant, dirt resistant exterior paint of required shade with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces in camouflage pattern , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Pattern of camouflaging as per desired pattern shall be approved by GE. (ii) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor. (iii) Quoted rate shall deemed to be included the cost of necessary scaffolding & formwork for building upto 21.00m high.

Complete removal of existing treatment of old plastered /unplastered surfaces of walls/ceiling and applying two coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/ litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489: 2004, alkali & fungal resistant, dirt resistant exterior paint of required shade in camouflage pattern as approved by GE with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over old surfaces in camouflage pattern , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Pattern of camouflaging as per desired pattern shall be approved by GE. (ii) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Preparation of old painted steel or Iron surfaces over 10cm width or grith not otherwise described from external surfaces on roofs and walls of hangers up to 15 mtrs of height ( in camouflage pattern using numbers of colours ) and applying one coat synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Camouflage pattern using number of colours shall be approved by GE. (ii) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor. (iii) Quoted rate shall deemed to be included the cost of necessary scaffolding & formwork for building upto 15.00m high.

Preperation of old surfaces of walls including brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots etc; washing, rubbing down and stopping of surfaces using sand paper and applying one coat of oil bound distemper including minor repair of plastering etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor. (ii) Quoted rate shall deemed to be included the cost of necessary scaffolding & formwork for building upto 12.00m high.

Preparation of old plastered /unplastered surfaces of walls/ceiling and applying one coat of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/ litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489: 2004, alkali & fungal resistant, dirt resistant exterior paint of required shade with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm (Company Depot Tinted) over and including priming coat of exterior primer including leveling by 1mm thick cement base wall care putty , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor. (ii) Quoted rate shall deemed to be included the cost of necessary scaffolding & formwork for building upto 10.00m high.

Preperation of old surfaces of walls including brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots etc; washing, rubbing down and stopping of surfaces using sand paper and applying one coat of cement base paint including minor repair of plastering etc, ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or indian) n. exc. 30cm high, painted with thick paint so that they stand out boldly and solidly without showing signs of brush marks; if necessary, they shall be repainted until the desired result is obtained , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

PVC (SWR) pipes 75 mm bore single socketed in any length with ruber rings joints fixed to walls with necessary brackets and making good the mouth of rain water pipe in and including taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc., including cleaning or refixing or removal to Store (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

PVC (SWR) pipes 110 mm bore single socketed in any length with ruber rings joints fixed to walls with necessary brackets and making good the mouth of rain water pipe in and including taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc., including cleaning or refixing or removal to Store (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.
