Topographical and Engineering survey including survey for contour map preparation, engineering level calculation etc. and associated works at Calicut International Airport

Amount

Mobilization of necessary equipment and men for survey work, conducting topographical survey using GPS based survey equipment (Total station, auto levels, underground detectors etc.), inside the operational area of Calicut Airport covering areas other than the runway, taxiway, isolation bay, apron etc. and taking spot levels in 5M x 5M grid (Closer grids may be adopted in locations where abrupt/ sudden level differences are observed) and submission of contour maps with a contour interval of 0.50m. The survey data should include the location and all geographical details of various structures and other infrastructure like perimeter walls and roads, rock boulders, watch huts, watch towers, buildings, drains, drain outlets, electric poles, pathways, ditches, abrupt level differences in the form of depressions or mounts, trees with numbering, embankment including pitching, horizontal and vertical fences, and other relevant structures/features. ii) Submission of 3 (three) sets of Topographic plan and contour map in size not less than A0, with all spot levels in the scale of 1:1000 showing all topographic features along with the original data (soft copy- CAD and GPS data file in compact disc) Note: The data collected from the execution of item No. 2 should be incorporated in the contour map submitted and nothing extra will be paid in this regard Note: (1) Surveyors having adequate practical knowledge and experienced in survey works with advanced equipment along with experience in handling RT communication are to be deployed (Diploma/ITI/Certificate holders in Surveying with minimum three years of experience in similar works). Men and equipment required are to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. Note: (2) The contractors shall include the cost towards de-mobilization of equipment and men. Note (3) The contractor shall include the cost towards clearing of bushes/ vegetation/cutting and removing branches of trees and removal of the same (if required), in his quoted rates. Note (4) The contractor shall include the cost towards construction of permanent benchmark-6 nos of dimension 500mm x 500mm x 1500mm in RCC 1:1.5:3. Note (5) The contractor shall include the cost towards construction of temporary benchmark - 30 no's, in cut hard stone pillars, of dimension 150mm x 150mm x 1200mm at 300m spacing along the length of traverse and at closer intervals on curves and slopes as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

i) Mobilization of necessary equipment and men for survey work, conducting detailed engineering survey using digital survey equipment on the table top area of Calicut Airport covering areas including runway, taxiway, isolation bay, apron, turning pads, runway strip, RESA, blast pad, runway edge drains, Navigational aids on the table top etc. and taking spot levels in 3m x 3m grid (closer grids may be adopted at curves and slope changes) and fixing finished level of runway as per Annex-14 to meet ICAO recommendations and preparation of longitudinal section drawing in 1:2000 scale and preparation of cross section drawings at every 30m interval and computation of profile correction quantity (at every 3m cross section) as per levels for runway and gradient correction quantity for runway strip and other areas. ii) Submission of a) Topographic plan with all spot levels in the scale of 1:2000 showing all topographic features. b) Longitudinal section drawing showing initial and final levels along the centre line of runway in 1:2000 scale. c) Cross section drawing at every 30m C/S. iii) Submission of 3 (three) sets of hard copy of drawings in A0 size and two soft copy in CAD format in compact disc. Note: (1) Surveyors having adequate practical knowledge and experienced in survey works with advanced equipment along with experience in handling RT communication are to be deployed (Diploma/ITI/Certificate holders in Surveying with minimum three years of experience in similar works). Men and equipment required are to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. Note: (2) The contractors shall include the cost towards de-mobilization of equipment and men. Note (3) The contractor shall include the cost towards clearing of bushes/ vegetation/cutting and removing branches of trees and removal of the same (if required), in his quoted rates. Note (4) The contractor shall include the cost towards construction of permanent benchmarks if any required. Note (5) The contractor shall include the cost towards construction of temporary benchmark - 20 no's, in cut hard stone pillars, of dimension 150mm x 150mm x 1200mm at 300m spacing along the length of traverse and at closer intervals on curves and slopes as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
