Periodical Cleaning of OHT,UGT, Oxidation ponds and OHTs of Residential and Public buildings at HWPM colony for the years 2024-2026.

Providing required men, materials and consumable for cleaning of over head tanks of residential/ public buildings for the following capacities by emptying the tank through scour spout, removing of all dirt, foreign materials, fungus and applying Bleaching powder solution to all the internal wall surfaces, brushing with wire brush and washing, dummy the drain/ scour spout & make it water tight after completion of cleaning operation, displaying the date of cleaning on the tank outside wall with enamel paint and including disposing of waste generated to the dumping yard in the colony premises with all leads & lifts etc., all Complete as directed by the Engineer-in Charge. (Periodicity of cleaning once in four months)

501 - 1,000 liters capacity tanks

1,001 - 1,500 liters capacity tanks

4,000 - 6,500 liters capacity tanks

7,000 - 9,500 liters capacity tanks

11,000 - 13,500 liters capacity tanks

18,500 - 21,000 liters capacity tanks

Providing required men & materials for dis-infection & cleaning the internal surfaces of water storage compartments of tanks including de-watering, rubbing the walls, floors, ceilings with hard brushes, removal of algae, fungi, mud slurry, cob webs and removing any other foreign materials and washing the surfaces with bleaching powder water solution and finally with fresh water operation should be completed and including disposing of waste generated to the dumping yard in the colony premises with all leads & lifts etc., all complete as per the specification and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Under ground sump of 5 meters depth (Periodicity of cleaning once in Four months)

Over head tanks (Once in Four months)

Over head tank shafts (Including Stair case, floor, surface-sweeping/ cob web removal etc., Periodicity of cleaning once in a month)

Fountain sump (Periodicity of cleaning once in a month)

Providing required men & materials for cleaning of scum, removal of vegetation and other floating materials in the oxidation ponds and uprooting of the vegetation/ creepers if any inside bund portion including disposal of the same to dumping yard at a place shown by department with in the colony premises including all leads and lifts etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge. (Periodicity of cleaning once in three months)

Providing required men, material & necessary appliances for de-sludging of sewage sumps (wet well) by adopting all safety precautions against gases such as Methane, H2S and other foul gases etc., including de-watering and disposing of the sludge to the dumping yard at a place shown by department in the colony premises with all leads and lifts etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer in Chrage. (Periodicity of cleaning once in four months)

Providing required men, materials and tools for de - sludging of oxidation ponds by emptying the ponds, removing the sludge/ silt/ debris and other deposited matter and spreading of 150 Kg Disinfecting agent viz. Bleaching powder + lime powder mixture (1 : 5 ratio) including de-watering of ponds if required and disposing of waste to the dumping yard/ or any location shown by the department with in the colony premises with all leads & lifts etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing required men & materials, tools & tackles etc., for grass/ jungle cutting, removal of unwanted bushes, creepers such as itching plants etc., wild vegetation up to girth of 10 cm around the drinking water pump houses, sewage pump houses other specified areas in the colony, disposing of the same to dumping yard within the colony premises and burning the same under controlled fire with all leads & lifts etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge..

Providing required men, material & necessary appliances for cleaning of septic tank near type "D" old quarters and Main gate toilet area by adopting suitable precautions against gases such as Methane, H2S and other foul gases etc. including de-watering and disposing of the sludge at dumping yard location shown by the department with all leads and lifts with in the colony premises, applying bleaching powder etc., all complete and as directed by Engineer-in charge. (Execution of work once in Six months in D type area and Thrice in a year near Main gate area)

Earthwork excavation with mechanical equipment (Poclain) chain type or tyre mounted as may be required as per site condition and as directed by the Engineer to required depth and dressing of sides, including getting out the excavated soil and backfilling the soil as required, disposing of surplus excavated soil within a lead of 50m etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing all men, materials & tools for fixing of GI nipple of dia 40mm/ 50mm to existing tank (building OHT's) scour/ drain outlet (by welding) including cutting of old nipple, providing and fixing GI dummy plug to the nipple fixed (nipple and dummy shall be of approved make) and handing over of old material to the sectional stores etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
