HANDLING OF BAGASSE, FIRE WOOD AND CHEMICALS DURING SEASON AND OFF SEASON FOR 110 TPH BOILER AT HBL 3500 TCD INTEGRATED SUGAR PLANT, SUGAULI AND LAURIYA

Handling of Bagasse, Chemicals, firewood etc. during season & off-season for 110 TPH capacity Boiler operations at integrated 3500 TCD Sugar Plant. Job includes: a) Ploughing and drying bagasse at the bagasse yard and shed as required before feeding. b) Shifting and stacking of excess bagasse from bagasse chutes to outside and inside bagasse shed, under BC-1 and boiler areas within 300 Mtrs vicinity, mainly during the season when there is excess generation of bagasse than boiler feeding requirements. c) Shifting and back feeding of bagasse from outside and inside bagasse shed at bagasse belts within 300 Mtrs vicinity as and when required, during when there is no crushing. d) Cleaning of the inside & outside surroundings of belt conveyor numbers BC-1, BC-3, SC2, BC4, BCS, BC6 & BC7, junction towers etc. as and when required, accumulating and shifting bagasse to bagasse yard/shed. e) Assisting in the removal of chokes from bagasse feeders and conveyors. f) Housekeeping, accumulating spread bagasse in and around Cogen Plant, and shifting the same to the bagasse shed/yard, stacking neatly. g) Shifting of excess bagasse/bagasse silo released from the manhole at the bagasse blower at the Sugar Plant to the bagasse yard. h) Shifting and lifting of firewood from the plant premises to the boiler furnace whenever the boiler lights up. i) Shifting of chemicals by tractor trolley from general godown to DM plant and cooling tower, and suitable dosing as directed, & shifting of empty containers to the warehouse. Assisting WTP operator & fitter in chemical dosing, sampling, and other handling during the shifts. j) Any other job related to bagasse and chemical handling inside the plant as directed by the Shift-in-charge. The operations shall be carried out in 3 shifts (round the clock) on all days of the week, including Sundays and holidays. The contractor shall quote a lumpsum rate on a per day basis. The contractor shall deploy a minimum of six (6) labourers per shift, including one supervisor. The manpower may be increased up to nine (9) per shift as per plant requirements. The supervisor shall not be counted as part of the labour strength. The above job envisages deployment of a minimum of three (3) front-loading pushers per shift and one (1) roadworthy hydraulic tractor-trolley or JCB per day. The contractor shall ensure that additional manpower or equipment/resources are arranged and deployed at any point of time if the existing deployment is found inadequate, without any additional cost to HPCL Biofuels Limited (HBL).
