REPAIR / REPLACEMENT / CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINES, MANHOLE, GULLY TRAPS AND MISC WORKS AND REPAIR TO COMPOUND WALL AND FENCING IN OFFICERS AREA AT AF STN HALWARA

Demolition of Brickwork or PCC block built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brick work with sub class ‘B’ brick, straight or curved as plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc, including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete incl even and smooth surfaces without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for prepration of newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coat of cement base paint over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint, including dark bluecolour of pillar /RCC/brick facia, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and maintaining the sewage system for the entire Officers Area of Air Force Station Halwara and allied establishments which consists of IWCs, EWCs, WHB, sinks, bottle traps, Nahani traps, floor traps, soil/waste/vent pipes of various dia connected to sanitary fittings/traps and/or running on external walls of buildings of any height, in sunken floors, burried in trenches of any depth including junctions, Manholes of any description (any size/depth) and under ground sewage/sullage lines of any sizes/dia upto the final drop outlet into septic tank/soak well/Manhole of central sewage system, in running/flowing condition without disturbance or damages to existing system including removing all types of blockages in above mentioned sanitary fittings/traps/sewage lines/man holes in any position as and when occures and ensuring free flow of the sewage/sullage from the point of origin to the final disposal end and disposal of the sludge/waste materials removed from above mentioned sanitary fittings/traps/sewage lines outside defence land without causing any nuisence to Air Force community/civil public and in confirmity with the regulations of local authorities, without any extra cost to Govt, during the currency of the contract. Areas covered under the contract are Officers area of Air Force, complete all as specified and directed.

(a) Sufficient man power shall be detailed on all days including Sundays and holidays for the above mentioned job during the entire contract period. In case, additional man power is necessiated for completion of any job, the contractor shall provide required man power without any extra cost. The supervisor shall report to JE in charge of the work daily by 09 hrs and 14 00 hrs to receive the complaints and other details of works to be done. The workers and supervisor shall leave the primeses only on completion of the jobs assigned for the day / 17 30 hrs which ever is later and the supervisor shall return the job card daily to the JE and will give a brief of the works done before leaving. (b) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for all necessary tools and plants required for satisfactory completion of the work. The rate quoted shall also include for removal, and refixing up on completion of job, the CI/RCC covers of manholes/septic tanks/soakwells, grills/gratings, opening and refixing of doors of pipe lines etc as required.

(c) Penalty for non completion of work in given time :- The works assigned for the day shall be completed by the same day, preferably within 9.30 hrs to 17.30 hrs after receipt of the work orders /instructions by the supervisor. In case, due to any unforeseen technical reasons, if the work is unable to complete by the same day, the matter shall be informed to the Engr-in-Charge by the contractor in writing and permission of Engr-in-Charge to carry over the work to next day shall be taken in writing. In such situations, the work shall be resumed by the very next day and the work shall be completed in the shortest possible time. In the event of failure to complete the work ordered on the contractor by the same day due to non detailment of sufficient workmen or any other reason attributable to the contractor, a penalty sum of Rs.1000.00 for each complaint per day of delay shall be imposed on contractor.The decision of GE (AF) Halwara regarding penalty shall be final and binding.

Dewatering / desludging of septic tanks, soakage wells, manhole etc by mechnical means using Sewage waste collection Truck / Vehicle including cleaning of all sludge, silt residue of both organic and inorganic nature by mechanical scrappers etc and disposal off the same out side the defence area without causing any nuisence to Air Force community / civil public and in confirmity with the regulations of local authorities, without any extra cost to Govt, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 1. For measurement of cubic content of sludge please refer PS Clause No 16.1. 2. Work shall be carried out in foul conditions. After dewatering, sewage systems shall be allowed to dry . 3. Sewage/ sullage shall be removed in closed container mounted on vehicle. 4. Work shall be carried out as and when required. 5. Work will done only when one supervisor is present at site who will be responsible for ensuring safety of the labours engaged.

S & F factory made precast reinforced cement concrete covers in RCC 1:2:4 type B1 (20mm graded stone aggregate) including 8mm TMT bars at a spacing of 150mm c/c both ways of overall size 900mm x 450mm x 75mm for Manhole including hook arrangement for lifting and placing in position and sides covered by MS angle size 75x75x6mm duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including taking out the old / unserviceable cover slab, complete all as specified and directed. Note :-“The rate quoted by the bidder for the items inclusive of removing the old cover slab/ debris outside the MOD Land.”

S & F factory made precast reinforced cement concrete Covers in RCC 1:2:4 type B1 (20mm graded stone aggregate) including 8mm TMT bars at a spacing of 150mm c/c both ways of overall size 450mm x 450mm x 50mm for Gully Trap/Inspection Chamber (Ist Chamber) including hook arrangement for lifting and placing in position and sides covered by MS angle size 50x50x6mm duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including taking out the old / unserviceable cover slab, complete all as specified and directed. Note :-“The rate quoted by the bidder for the items inclusive of removing the old cover slab/debris outside the MOD Land.”

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (Salt glazed ware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar 150mm internal dia of pipe including removing the debris of demolition/breaking items outside the MOD land, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.10 above but dia of pipe 200mm.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for RCC pipes class NP2 of 150mm dia laid and jointed with collars, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.13 above but dia of pipe 200mm.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in bed to drain pipe including packing to drain pipe and hunching against sides of pipe for 150mm dia pipes, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.15 here in before but for 200mm dia pipes.

M&L for cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate finished smooth and reforming benching as required for 150mm dia pipes, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.17 here in before but for 200mm dia pipes.

Returning filling including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm each in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material soils exc 1.50km but n.exc 5km and depositing where directed out side the MOD land, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, step clamps, including all fittings (Any type of "T"/tee, bend, Y, Branch piece single/double, couplers, reducers, vent coil, access door, junction single/double, equal/unequal, any type of trap etc), 75mm dia, fixed to walls/floor/trenches etc and height of buildings upto G+1, including taking down, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.21 here in before but for 110mm dia pipes.

Dismantling floor, path, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises, including removing the debris out side the MOD land, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for machine pressed precast concrete interlocking pavor block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60mm thick , M-35 Grade all as specified fixed with grey cement and pigment, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for chequered cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors with grey cement and pigment including 20mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving not exc 15cm thickness below or above ground level, including removing the debris outside the MOD land, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100mm thick Cement concrete type B-2, 1:2:4 (40mm graded stone aggregate), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC type C-2, 1:3:6 (40 mm graded stone aggregate ) as in plinth protection, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron work or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs galvanised 2 strand steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire staples or steel etc as directed (each line wire to be measured), complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 31 above but restraining, resecuring including making good.

S&F in repairs galvanised steel punched tape concertina coil 600mm dia and stretched for a length of 6Rm/coil having 50 Nos rounds per coil while fixing and fixed to angle iron binded with 3.15mm dia GI wire, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel works as in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed including all necessary drilling, bolting or reveting, embedded in concrete, etc and similar work conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde-E-250) quality-A, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone agregete as in bed, copings, bed plares, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering slightly rounded or chamferred angles and throating and use of necessary formwork where required, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs chain link MS galvanised fencing any size including lines wires straining bolts including binding wires etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note :-The weight of the chain link fencing after arrival at site shall be ascertained by a Board of Officers to be detailed by the Accepting Officer before incorporation in the work.

S&F providing precast cement concrete louvers and jallies 45mm thick ( measured solid) including all mouldings but excluding frame (pre-cast frame shall be measured seperately) setting in cement mortar 1:4 precast cement concrete jalli type B0 1:2:4 (12.5mm graded aggregate), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old outdoor tiles, concrete paver block, cement tiles / chequered cement concrete tiles in driveways and walkways and applying two coats of terracotta paint, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, writing letters or figure (block, Roman, Italic or Indian) of any size on any type of boards, road, pavements etc, complete all as specified and directed.
