Providing and laying 3mm thick waterproofing bitumen sheet reinforced with
polyester/ fiberglass, as a pre-formed flexible membrane for waterproofing
works in roofs, terraces, basements, foundations, and wet areas. The
membrane shall be applied by the torch-on method, heating the underside of
the sheet with a gas burner to achieve proper bonding with the prepared
substrate. The substrate shall be cleaned, primed with bituminous primer, and
made smooth, even, and free from dust or loose particles before application.
Overlaps shall be provided as per manufacturer’s specification (minimum
75mm side lap and 100mm end lap) and properly sealed by torching to ensure
a continuous watertight layer. The work shall be completed in all respects,
including surface preparation, priming, heating, laying, joint sealing, finishing,
and protection (if required), all as per manufacturer’s recommendation and
instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

1) All loose samples of materials shall be approved by the Engineer in charge.
2) The contractor shall prepare shop drawings based on intent/ concept
drawing and get approval from the Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall
prepare mock-up of doors, windows, and other elements with all required
hardware and approved by the Engineer-in-Charge before execution of work.
Work shall be carried out as per the final approved shop drawing and
approved mock-up. The contractor shall be responsible against stability,
safety, leakage, etc all complete. Testing work shall be carried out by the
Contractor as suggested by the Engineer in charge. (If required).
3) All Doors, windows, and other elements shall be fabricated and finished at
the factory/ workshop, and only fixing and final finishing shall be executed at
the site unless otherwise approved by the Engineer-in-charge.

5) Engineer incharge reserves right to reject part or all work of sub standard or
