Amount

Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials for dumping in specified manner i/c arrangement of dumping site, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. The recovery of useful stone that is 16433.40 cum. (Sixteen thousand four hundred thirty three point forty Cubic Metre) in all cases, taking which the recovery @ Rupees 170/= only (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic metre in all circumstances shall be effected on pro rata basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavations for structure in all depths as per drawing and technical specifications as clause clause 305.1 (Clause Three Hundred Five point One) MORD of specification 300 ( three zero zero) including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal in all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable material. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damages to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out rock ( where blasting is prohibited) Disposal of unserviceable cut materials in sepicified manner to dumping to be arranged by the contractor thourgh all modes of transportation including head load, animal load or mechnical means along with its levelling fine dressing and all labour, machineries, materials, tools equipments and sefty measures and incidentals necessary to complete. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is mate with in the excevation due to spring, seepage, rain and other causes it shall be removed by sutiable diversions, bailing out or dewatering and the area of foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private properety during the course of excevation shall be the sole responsibility of the contrator which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Providing and laying boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm GI wire confrming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100mm X 100mm(one hundred X one hundred milimetre) mesh (woven diagonally) i/c 10% extra for laps & joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less then (Twenty five kilograme) 25kg each as per drawing and technical specification clause 1301.

Providing, and laying reinforced cement concrete 900 mm (Nine Hundred millimeter)diameter pipe class NP-2( Non Presser- Two), including jointing for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2(one cement: two sand) including back filling but excluding excavations, protection works, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets as per drawings and technical specifications including hauling /carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction and as per the direction of Engineer-in- Charge

Randam rubble stone maosnry work in cement mortar 1:4 ( one cement : four sand) in foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 702, 704, 1202 & 1203 including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges

Suppyling fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in super structure complete as per drawing and technical specifications. Clause 1002, 1010 and 1202 including all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Drainage spouts complete as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1209(bridge) including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges.

Providing and laying flooring laid over cement concrete bedding to be paid for separetly complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1303 randam rubble laid in cement mortar 1:3 (One cement : three sand) including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges

Providing and laying cement concrete wearing course M-30 (M-Thirty) grade including reinforcement complete as per drawing and technical specifications. Clauses 800 and 1206.3 including all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Construction of R.C.C. raling of M-25 grade (M Twenty five) in cast-in-situ with 20mm (Twenty mlimetre) nominal size aggregate true to line and grade,, tolerance of vertical raling post not to exceed 1 in 500( one in five hundred), centre to centre spacing between vertical post not to exceed 2000mm (Two thousand milimetre) as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 800, 900, and 1208.3 including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges

Loosening, Levelling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, (One hundred fifty milimetre) mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for embankment construction as per HPPWD Specification/ Technical Specification Clause 301.4.1.as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m (One thousand metre) as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1. as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of granular Sub base by providing well graded materials, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotovator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per technical Specification clause 401 including hauling /carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

WBM Grading 2 63 to 45 mm nominal size (Sixty three milimetre to Forty five milimetre) Providing laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific size to water bond macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 KN (Eighty to One Hundred) static roller in stage to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/ binding materials to fill-up the interstice of course aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-2 as per HP.PWD. specification/ technical Specification clause 405 (Clause Four Hundred Five) by Machanical Means

WBM Grading 3 55 to 22.4 mm nominal size (Fifty five milimetre to Twenty two point four milimetre) Providing laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific size to water bond macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 KN (Eighty to One Hundred) static roller in stage to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/ binding materials to fill-up the interstice of course aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-3 as per HP.PWD. specification/ technical Specification clause 405 (Clause Four Hundred Five) by Machanical Means

Providing and applying priming coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate 0.70-1.0 K.g (zero point seventy- one point zero) kilogramme per square meter using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502 including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges.

Providing and applying evenly tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributer at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 (zero point twenty five- zero point thirty) kilogramme per square meter on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges.

Providing, laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20 (Twenty) millimeters thickness composed of 13.2 (Thirteen point Two) millimeters to 5.6 (Five point Six) millimeters aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen to required line grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 (Eighty- One hundred) KN static Roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of type –B by Mechanical means Bitumen (S-90), as per technical specification clause 508 including carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grades and cross fall using type-B as per technical specification C-510 (Clause- Five hundred Ten) ) by Mechanical means Bitumen (S-90), including hauling /carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.
