REPAIR/RESURFACING TO INTERNAL ROADS AND REPLACEMENT OF ROAD FURNITURE, ROAD MARKING PAINT AT NAA UNDER GE(N) TEZPUR

M&L for preparation of old black bituminous top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete in all respect as specified & directed

M&L for applying tack coat catoinic emulsion RS-I grade ,2.5 Kg/ X Sqm using mechanical sprayer complete in all respect as specified & directed.

M&L Laying and compacting 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as pe table 400-13 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with wate to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100KN static weight and consolidating to required gradien and camber complete all as specified and directed The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/ rolled & compacted to required gradient & camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen of VG-30 at the rate of 4% by weight of total mix complete in all respect as specified & directed Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through National Test House, SEMT wing CME, Regional Research Labs, IITs, National Institutes of Technology, Govt Engineering College or any Govt laboratories and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.42 per Kg.

M&L for repair to pot holes of any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each incl sweeping free from dust & mud of water scoring sunken surface in road etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying catoinic emulsion @ 2.5Kg RS-I grade per 10 sqm and filled with bituminous premixed carpet mix, 25mm consolidated thickness, with 0.33 cum of stone chippings mixed with 18.25 kg of binder (paving bitumen of VG-30) per 10 SQM, rolled and consolidated to required gradient & camber with power road roller exc 8 tonne and n.exc 12 tonne complete in all respect as specified & directed

Providing & laying design mixed, semi dense bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen of VG-30, rolled & consolidated to required gradient & camber with power road roller exc 8 tonne & n.exc 12 tonne complete in all respect as specified & directed. Providing and applying 2.5mm thick road marking strips (retro- reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tnk heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T& P , cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, gease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

S & F in cat eye Road stud sloar reflective type of ABS body of size 100X100mmX20mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instruction all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed.

S & F Road Safety convex mirror of size 600mm dia having polycarbonate body, unbreakable orange colour including mountined over metalic stand not less than 65mm dia pipe duly painted of standard height 150cm. All steel parts black powder coated to make all weather resistant. The same is embedded in ground with 300 X 300 X 300 mm size PCC of 1:2:4 including necessary excavation, the cost is included in the item.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) Type B-2 (40mm graded aggregate) as foundation filling and mass concrete for post complete in all respect as specified and directed.

S & F delineator DA-74 Two high performance 100mm Dia reflectors and two rectangular reflectors of 70mmx23mm are fixed on both sides of Guide Post. Reflectors are positioned at the best eye guiding level, The body of Guide Post is moulded in ABS plastic and it is fixed on powder coated steel pipe of 1010 mm height,The same is embedded in ground with 300 X 300 X 300 mm size PCC of 1:2:4 including necessary excavation, the cost is included in the item.

M&L speed bump made from heavy duty ABS with high resistance wear & tear property. UV stabilized black & yellow combination high reflective reflector having L=70mm, W=23mm available on both sides in red and yellow colour with H= 50mm, W= 380mm, L= 500mm all as specified and directed.

S&F Flexible spring post barrier high grade elastomeric polymer material with 2 reflective tap with height 755mm and dia 200mm complete all as specified and directed

S&F stainless steel (Grade 304) composite section of hollow pipe/tube, flat, plates, angle section, fancy pipe top caps etc of for sign board welded with stainless steel rod of any size, shape, description including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 3mm thick aluminium composite exterior grade plane panel sheet of approved colour size, shape, description for base of sign board incl necessary stainless steel nut bolts fixed on stainless steel section complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. M, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 1mm thick hexagonal pattern retro reflective self adhesive plastic sticker sheet of approved colour as per size, design, pasted on aluminium composite panel exterior grade sheet including laser cutted figures such as direction signs, photos, words and alphabets complete all as specified and directed.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
