Removing the existing sealing compound, backup rod, rubbish, dirt etc from the grooves of existing dummy /construction joint of width 6mm of rigid pavement upto a depth of 26 mm with sutiable tools including air compressor to remove the loose particles, dust etc complete and providing and laying in position with polysulphide (pouring grade) sealant type FB conforming to BS 5212-1990 of approved brand in expansion/construction/ dummy joints including painting the contact surface of the joints with polysulphide primer of approved brand, over and including expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up rod in expansion/construction/dummy joints etc complete as per direction of the engineer - in - charge (Note: For purpose of payment, (Length x Width x Average Depth above backer rod ) of polysulphide sealant only will be measured). Dummy /construction joints 6mm x 13 mm deep over 8 mm dia closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up rod

Expansion Joints 25mm wide x 13mm deep over 30mm dis expanded polyethylene foam back-up rod
