Supplying, dressing and stacking at site bamboo pins above 5 cm. diameter and upto 7.5 cm. diameter. (Dia. to be measured at mid length.

Driving of bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scaffoiding and driving appliance (a)where boats are not necessary

Taking out old bamboo pins from piling and stacking the same within 150 metre from the site of work. (a) Where boats are not necessary.

Taking out Jhaw / Eucalyptus piles from river bed or from elsewhere including carrying, stacking materials in the nearest stack yard. (a) Up to 17.5 cm. diameter

Fitting, fixing bitumen drum sheet to bullah piling and wailing pieces including cutting straightening drum sheet fixing with country nails @ 20cm c/c at top & bottom and bolts& nuts at top & bottom at every joint of drum sheet with a laping of 15 cm, including supply of drum sheet, fixture all complete as per direction of the Engineer - in - charge.

Excavation for Structures Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge . I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means. a) upto 3 m depth (i) With pumping out water including shoring as required.

Earthwork in filling in foundation trenches with good earth in ayers not exceeding 15cm. including watering and ramming layer by layer complete with earth obtained from excavation of foundation or from fresh excavation of land arranged by Department within a lead of 150 m.

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments,repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of, E) Beyond 4.00 km and upto 5.00 km NB:- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking. Note:-The rate included compensation for earth for land owned and arranged by contractor @ Rs.25.00 per m^3 .The rate also includes Royality charge on earth @ Rs. 29.00 per M^3 & cess charge @ Rs.5.30 per m^3 as per govt. notification which will be paid on production of neccessary documents in support of payment made towards the royalities & Cess. E) Beyond 4.00 km and upto 5.00 km

Supplying to site empty cement polythene bags (capacity 50kg) in good condition including stacking, incedental charges etc. all complete (capacity 50 kg).

Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or agreegates (stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags , (tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials). NB:- Volume of earth/ sand filled bags should not be less than 0.028 cum/ bag

Extra rate for item no above for each additional lead of 60 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30 metre. 2 no. lead

Dumping in position earth / sand filled gunny / poly bags (capacity 50 kg) within a lead of 30 metre inclusive of all lifts.

Removing earth/sand filled poly bags /gunny bags from the channel bed/slope and initially depositing the same near channel bank at a place as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for measurement of Bag. & then disposing off the same at a distance not less than 150 metre from the channel site.

Dismantling all types of plain cement concrete works, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m. (a) In ground floor including roof. (a) upto 150 mm. thick

Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary. (a) Depth up to 150 mm.

(b) For each addl. Depth of 150mm and part thereof.

Supplying, spreading and compacting Sand to required thickness, in layers not exceeding 150 mm to proper gradient and camber, inundating each layer by water and packing and ramming layer by layer to achieve desired compaction, including lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary, curing with water as per direction, mending cracks and depressions by ramming wherever necessary.

Single Brick Flat Soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with local sand

Brick pavement with 1st class / picked jhama bricks as per direction of Engineer in charge) with joints set closed in cement mortar 1:6 including preparation of bed by cutting or filling with ramming the filled up earth to the same profile as that of the finished avement. Rate is inclusive of cost of supply of all materials, labour and all incidental charges in this connection. (a) When laid with a cushion of sand below including cost thereof: (ii) One brick on edge pavement.

Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes (a)Pakur Variety

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Sub-structure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The rate provided is exclusive of cost of steel materials. Construction wing should add cost & carriage of 1.05 MT (considering 5% wastage) of steel materials to arrive at the final consolidated item rate.

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry / Plain / Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall / return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing face. Complete as per drawing and Technical specifications.

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and Technical specification. A) Granular material
