8570 REPAIRS/ REWINDING OF 5 MVA, 33/11KV POWER TRANSFORMER INSTALLED AT NEW MRS UNDER AGE (I) RND NSTL, VISAKHAPATNAM

M&L for isolating the HT supply of 5 MVA power transformer ( Make :-Schneider Electric, S.No.TBI/624000585/02) 33 KV/11 KV connections of transformer by opening clamps, bus bar extension and isolating the cables from transformer of capacity 5 MVA, 33/11 KV and shifting the same from New MRS at NSTL to authorised company workshop for repairs/rewinding and reinstalling the same after repairs in position complete including handling with hydraulic crane, transportation charges up and down etc. all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Repair/ replacement of transformer parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BoQ. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for the cost of shifting of transformer to authorised company workshop and back to New MRS NSTL.

M &L for Opening the transformer of capacity 5 MVA, 33/11 KV, draining out transformer oil completely, lifting the top cover and core assembly carefully and separation of burnt winding, cleaning the core complete and after repair re-assembling the transformer core and accessories complete all as specified below (1) Total Transformer Core & Coil Dismantling from tank-01 Job (2) Transformer Tank, Core & Coil Cleaning with hot oil-01 Job (3) LV & HV Winding Charges for Coil on Raman board-06 Coil (4) Total Core and Coil Assembly with Connection.-06 coil (5) Drying and curing of HV/LV coils in Auto Temp Oven for 2 to 3 Days-01 Job (6) Taking out properly with all accessories, oil seals, gaskets replacement…. Etc-01 Job Note: Rewinding of transformer shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for rewinding of HV coils (3 limbs) & LV coils (3 limbs) of 5MVA, 33 KV/11 KV transformer with appropriate turns and size of super enameled copper winding strip including filling insulating paper, etc., complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Weight of copper coil only shall be considered for payment.

M&L for SRC Gaskets of suitable thickness for all accessories of transformer & Insulating items such as paper,varnish sleeving of insulating material ,brazing and taping of all connections etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.Note: (i) The unit rate quoted shall be inclusive of varnish sleeving of insulating material

Supply only new transformer oil for transformers duly filtered with filtration plant to obtain dielectric strength not less than 60 KV complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Make : Poweroil/ Electrol/ Savitha/ Tashol/ Servo Note :- (a) The transformer oil shall be type EHV confirming to IS - 335/1983. (b) Mineral oil grade shall be used. (c) The IR value of transformer oil shall not be less than 60KV/min. (d) The unit rate shall be deemed to include the cost of filtration to achieve desired di-electric strength.

M & L for carrying out following Routine test as per IS 2026 for 33 / 11 KV 5 MVA Power Transformer with required / suitable testing equipment by Qualified and Licensed Personal, Recording Test Results and submitted to AGE(I) R&D NSTL to keep on record duly signed by all concerned complete & charge the transformer with existing VCBs connected to transformer after completion of all connections prior to inducting into serviceall as specified and as directed: [a] IR Test [b]Voltage ratio test [c] Magnetic Balance Test [d] Turns Ratio test [e] Vector Group [f] Winding Resistance [g] No load losses test
