Protective works to the access road to Idamalayar dam

Earth work excavation in all types of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth as directed by the Engineer in charge

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement :3 coarse sand: 6 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) with minimum cement content of 220 kg/m3 as levelling course as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing & making Gabion structure with Mechanically Woven Double Twisted Hexagonal Shaped Wire mesh Gabion Boxes as per IS 16014:2012,MORTH Clause 2500, of required size, Mesh Type 10x12(D=100 mm with tolerance of ± 2%) Zinic+PVC coated, Mesh wire diameter2.7/3.7mm, mechanically edged/selvedged with partitions at every 1m interval and shall have minimum 10 numbers of openings per meter of mesh perpendicular to twist, tying with lacing wire of diameter 2.2/3.2mm(ID/OD), supplied @3% by weight of Gabion boxes, filled with boulders with least dimension of 200 mm, as per drawing, all complete as per directions of Engineer in charge.

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth with cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement:6 coarse sand) including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) upto plinth level including curing etc. complete as per the directions of the Engineer in charge.

Supplying and filling stone boulders 50mm to 200mm size in the required thickness for all leads and lifts behind the gabion walls, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.
