Appendix B : sheet pile

od22362/2021_2022/IA : Ring bund- putting up ring bund using driving Z type MS sheet piles of 8m height (400x185x7.5/8.5 or equivalent confirming to IS 2314-1986) on one side driven with minimum driving length of 4m for ensuring sufficient anchorage and horizontally braced with MS flats and angles wherever necessary and the other side with coconut piles 4 to 7m length driven 2.5 m, with 60cm c/c spacing tied with half split coconut piles as wailing piece at 1m c/c and filled in between with empty gunny/ polythene bags filled with earth are placed bottom width 2.00 m and top width 1.00 m and 4.00 m height, and including dismantling the bund, driven out sheet pile after completion of the work etc complete as directed by the departmental officers at site
