Soil testing of proposed O.H.T. site by some reputed institute like I.I.T. Roorkee or equivalent & accordingly design and construction of 1100 KL capacity, 22m staging RCC Over Head Tank with foundation considering seismic forces, including supply of all materials, labour, T&P etc. as required for proper completion of work and submission of detailed design/drawings before starting of the work. The earthquake resistant design must be in conformity with IS:456, IS:3370,IS:1893, IS:13932 & IS:13920 (latest versions). Water retaining portion i.e. container of O.H.T. will be constructed in M-30 design mix concrete as per latest guidelines of BIS. The work also include.
One meter wide balcony around the tank at the middle ring beam (Junction of conical wall and containers vertical wall).
One meter wide RCC two columns stair case as an access to the top dome of the tank from ground level.
Supplying & fixing M.S. gate with locking arrangement on first landing to avoid access to the O.H.T. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Supplying & fixing of 60cm, wide M.S. ladder from tope dome to the inside of the tank upto bottom dome of 50×50×6mm angle iron and 20mm dia plain M.S. bars @ 25 cm. C/C welded or riveted with suitable hand rail etc.
Supplying & fixing of 1200mm dia ventilator of 50×50×6mm angle iron fitted at the crown of top dome with mosquito proof wire mesh over expanded metal jali.
Supplying & fixing of 600×600mm M.S. Manhole cover of 5mm thick M.S. plate duly hinged with 50×50×6mm angle iron frame embedded in the top dome at appropriate place with locking arrangement shall be provided with overlap.
Supplying & fixing of Three rows of G.I. (medium) 20mm dia pipe railing with 50×50×6mm angle iron post of clear height 1.00m at a distance of 1.25m centre to centre around the balcony, top dome and along the stair case from ground level to top dome.
Supplying & fixing of water level indicator confirming to latest specifications & as per direction of engineer I/C
Supplying & fixing of lighting conductor arrangements including earthing as per latest I.S. code.
Supplying & fixing of 2 Nos. inlet of 150mm dia, 1 no.outlet of 350mm dia, washout of dia 200mm and over flow of dia 250mm of D.I.D/F (Class K-9) pipes and their D.I.sluice valves, (confirming to I.S.-780) duck foot bends on sutaible RCC column based on raft foundation as per direction of Engineer-in charge with other special etc. including supply of all materials, necessarily required for jointing and erecting. The limits of pipe fixing shall be from dome of the tank to one meter outside the apron of the tank. Overflow pipe shall be vertical type at required position or otherwise specified. Also, construction of 2 Nos. inlet, 1 No. outlet & 1 No. washout/over flow chambers and their R.C.C. covers as per departmental type design. Complete in all respect as per the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
Supplying & Clamping the vertical pipe with M.S. clamps of size 50×6mm at 1.50M C/C.
Filling the tank as many times as required with water and testing for water tightness and making it water tight, water for testing the tank shall be arranged by the contractor.
Supplying & Painting the outlet inlet, washout and over flow pipe with one coat of oxide primer and two coats of paint of approved quality (Asian, Berger, Nerolac etc.) and shade.
Supplying & Painting the entire tank with three coats of (including base coat) exterior weather coat Apex or equivalent of Asian, Berger, Nerolac etc. of approved quality and shade as per direction of the Engineer-In-charges.
Supplying & Painting the balcony and staircase railing and M.S. Manhole cover, ventilator angle iron posts with one coat of oxide primer and two coats of paint of approved quality (Asian, Berger, Nerolac etc.) and shade.
Supplying & Filling of earth, ramming and watering the earth upto the plinth level which will be about 0.75 M above from natural ground level for construction floor & projecting one meter from the tank columns and 1 M wide apron with suitable drain. Floor shall be 40mm thick P.C.C. 1:2:4 over 80 mm thick P.C.C. 1:4:8 at floor of the tank with suitable glass strips. 230 mm thick masonary walls in 1:6 cement sand mortar requires to raise ground level to plinth level including all materials etc.

Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc consisting of following operations: a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm. of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including adjoining walls upto 300mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment.b) Laying brick bats with mortar using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 115mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement :5 coarse sand ) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry using 2.75kg/ sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge. d) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including laying glass fibre cloth of approved quality in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300 mm square 3mm deep. e) The whole terrace so finished shall be for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-Charge : With average thickness of 120mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm mm square 3mm deep. e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test.
Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete. 40mm thick with 20mm nominal size stone aggregate.
