CERTAIN MISC REPAIR/REPLACEMENT WORKS OF INTERNAL ELECTRIC DBs SUBMAIN WIRING AND ASSOCIATED INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION SYSTEM EARTHING AND LIGHTENING PROTECTION SYSTEM IN VARIOUS OTM ACCN AND ADJOINING UNIT AND MD QUARTERS AREA AT SOUTHERN ZONE

Supply and fixing in repair of Aluminium strips of size 25x3.15mm complete with fixing by screw and brazing complete for roof conductors and down conductors including fixing on porcelain insulators with screws complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair test point air terminal block made of gunmetal or phosphorous bronze size 75x75x25 mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos of 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screws complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for earthing with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.0 mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level), connected to galvanized earth lead strip of size 25 mm x 4 mm by means of bolts, buts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron on steel including 40 mm dia light grade GI tubing for protection of earth lead, MS sheet metal funnel with wire mesh, watering pipe medium grade 20 mm dia, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternative layer of 15 cm compacted thickness all around the electrode with concrete earth pit of PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded aggregate) , 50 mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) pit cover reinforced with 8 mm dia deformed bar and suitable handle made of 10 mm dia round bar including aluminium strip of size 25 mm x 3 mm for extension of earth lead and necessary excavation, earth work, in soil/loose soil and disposal of spoils to a distance not exc 50 mtr and necessary connection and testing complete including providing TestPoint box made of 2.0mm MS sheet of size 200mmx150mmx100mm with front openable shutter panel arrangement all as shown in Electrical Plate No.3 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair GI Pipe medium grade of size 40mm bore of 1.5 mtr height (for fixing terminal) embedded in PCC base foundation 1:2:4 type C1 by (using of 20mm grade stone aggregate) of size 40cmx40cmx30cm over roof of vldg complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note : PCC shall be measured and paid seperately.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm well graded stone aggregate) of size 40cmx40cmx30cm over roof of vldg complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair single pointed Air termination aluminium rod 12mm dia 300 mm long complete all as specified and directed.
