REPAIRS/POLISHING/PAINTING OF WOODEN AND STEEL FURNITURE FOR CERTAIN OTM, MD ACCN AND OFFICERS MESS OF CQA (ICV) UNDER AGE (I) FY EDDUMAILARAM

Removal of following existing unserviceable components of various furniture items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components / weaving / retaping in lieu of dismantled components / discorded components as mentioned including tightening the joints, placing every part -in-tact and painting / polishing the disturbed portion, as applicable as per drgs Note : Work will be executed at BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

1. Repair/Replacement of GI Charpoy:

a) Long rail as per drg

b) Short rail as per drg

c) Legs as per drg

d) MS Check nut as per drg

e) 3-way elbow as per drg

f) Cutting of long rails retrived into short rails and threading at both ends as required as per drg and fixing in repair works

g) Cutting of short rails retrived into legs and threading at one end with MNF clamp suitable for 19mm dia conduit pipe 3mm base plate welded at bottom and fixed in repairs as required as per drg

h) Supplying and fixing of 12mm thick commercial plywood size 2mtr x 0.92 mtr with 4mm thick Teak wood edging all around of plywoods to be fixed with 75mm long GI round headed bolt and nut with washers of 6mm bores on mild steel flat iron stiffner complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Make of plywood:Kitply/ Century/ Omega/ Green ply.

a) Table Top 18mm thick prelaminated particle board of approved / existing shade as directed by Engineer-in-charge

5. Table Bed Side :

a) Back ply as per drg

b) Shelf with 12 mm thick prelaminated partical board as per drg

c) Side plank with 18mm thick prelaminated partical board as per drg

6. Table Centre :

a) Table Top 18mm thick prelaminated particle board of approved / existing shade as directed by Engineer-in-charge

b) Leg (60 x 30 mm) as per drg

c) Top rail (20 x 50 mm) as per drg

d) stiffener (50 x 20 mm) as per drg

7.Repair/Re-canning of Chair Varandah

(a) Removing of old caning from the steel frame and making the frame by means of welding wherever required to bring its in original shape as per drg.

(b) De-rusting/cleaning the iron frame to smooth surface include welding of steel seat frame and painting all steel surface with two coat of synthetic enamelled white paint over a coat of red oxide primer to bring the surface with glossy finish and re-caning the same with 4mm white plastic cane Make-Ajoy/Primer oval shape as approved by Garrison Engineer as per drg and providing the new rubber shoe complete.

8. REPAIRS TO CHAIR TUBULAR STEEL WITH/WITHOUT ARMS

8.1 Removing unserviceable seat frame of chair tubular steel with arms and supply and fix new seat frame made of teak wood, black polished, duly plastic canned in Godrej pattern with plastic cane not less than 2.0mm width and 0.4mm thick and borders with 4mm wide and 0.60mm thick plastic cane and fixed with screws 4 Nos and nuts to chair frame complete all as per drawing and as specified.

8.2 All as per item No 8.1 herein before but back frame

8.3 Removing unserviceable seat frame of chair tubular steel without arms and supply and fix new seat frame made of teak wood, black polished duly plastic canned in "Godrej" pattern with plastic cane not less than 2.0mm width and 0.40mm thick and broders with 4mm wide and 0.60mm thick plastic cane and fixed with screws 4 Nos and nuts to the chair frame complete all as per drawing and as specified.

8.4 All as per item No 8.3 herein before but back frame of chair steel tubular without arms

9.Repair/Re-canning of Chair Dinning.

(a) Front Legs

(c) Front rail of seat frame (Hole should be 12.5mm apart of each other)

(g) Back rest batten

(h) Recanning with 2.00mm thick new white plastic caneoval shape Godrej pattern and beading with 4mm thick new white plastic cane make Ajay /premier as approval by GE and providing new hard rubber shoes on legs.

Removal of following existing unserviceable steel components of various MES F/DB/FD furniture items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, screwing & welding. Note : Work will be executed at BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

10.Table Office Officer :

a) Legs, 16 guage as per drg

b) Replacement of lock of drawer

c) Repairs to Drawer include tinkering/denting, painting, welding, etc. all as shown, as specified & as directed

d) Shoes all as per drg

e) Welding the joints of legs / square tube including painting the welded partsto match with existing

f) Table top with 18mm thick pre-laminated particle board exterior grade with TW beeding all as per drg

11. Table Office Clerk/Typist Steel :

a) Legs, 16 guage as per drg

b) Replacement of lock of drawer

c) Repairs to Drawer include tinkering/denting, painting, welding, etc. all as shown, as specified & as directed

d) Stiffeners as per drg

e) Shoes all as per drg

f) Welding the joints of legs / square tube including painting the welded partsto match with existing

g) Table top with 18mm thick pre-laminated particle board exterior grade with TW beeding all as per drg

12. Table Steel with Drawers 900X600X760 ( 3x2 ):

a) Top of Table with 18mm thick pre-laminated particle board of exterior grade with TW beeding

18. M&L for french polishing of one coat to the following furniture articles all are of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD series or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface before polishing all as specified and shown on drgs and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units at OTM, Md Accn under the jurisdiction of AGE (I) Fy , Edumailaram including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

19. Note : Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units at OTM, Md Accn under the jurisdiction of AGE (I) Fy , Edumailaram including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge .
