Water Proofing work for the entire terrace portion including parapet walls of Mother Teresa Bhavan Hostel at SVNIT Campus, Surat

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead. For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm (DSR-15.23.1)

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.In cement mortar (DSR-15.7.4)

Providing and applying a complete waterproofing system on vertical concrete/masonry surfaces including parapet walls, exterior wall and other exposed areas, comprising: (i) Surface Preparation: Scraping and cleaning the surface with wire brushes / and pressure wash using pump to remove dust, loose particles, algae, or laitance, including minor patchwork repairing of surface with cement mortar to ensure a sound substrate. (ii) Crack Treatment: Treating hairline and minor cracks up to 5 mm width using ready-to-use acrylic crack filler paste (Dr. Fixit Crack-X Paste or equivalent). Cracks shall be opened slightly in U-groove profile where necessary and filled using putty knife/spatula to ensure complete filling and smooth finish, cured as per manufacturer’s specifications. (iii) Elastomeric Waterproofing Membrane: Applying fibre-reinforced elastomeric liquid waterproofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers (Asian Paints Damp Proof Xtreme or equivalent) in two coats: one coat of self-priming with brush (diluted 3:1 with water) and one coat of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid with brush/roller, at a total consumption rate as per manufacturers descriptions to achieve a dry film thickness not less than 500 microns. The membrane shall possess Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) ≥ 105. (iv) Protective Finish: Over the cured membrane, applying two coats of Apex Ultima Protek Duralife (or equivalent) — one base coat diluted as per manufacturer’s instructions and one top coat undiluted — at a consumption rate of approx. 4.63 litres per 10 sqm for two coats, providing UV resistance, weather protection, dirt resistance, colour retention, and extended durability. All materials, labour, tools, scaffolding, Jhula, and equipment required for execution included. Work shall be carried out as per manufacturer’s specifications and direction of Engineer-in-Charge, complete in all respects.

Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content. Terrace Tile Primer (Asian Paints SmartCare or equivalent) water based acrylic primer for terraces having porous and non-porous substrates such as existing china chips, tiles or old paints, and sealed or burnished concrete terrace roofs. single component hybrid polymer based primer for providing excellent adhesion to fibre-reinforced elastomeric liquid. All materials, labour, tools, scaffolding, Jhula, and equipment required for execution included. Work shall be carried out as per manufacturer’s specifications and precautions of chemicals and complete in all respects and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Crazy ceramic tile flooring, with under layer 12 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand), with joints not exceeding 5 mm, including filling the gaps with ordinary cement mixture & mixing with synthetic polyester fibre, triangular in shape having specific gravity of1.34 to 1.40, cross section size ranging from 10 to 40 micron & length upto 6 mm , mixing fibre @ 125 grams per 50 kg of cement in cement mortar, including providing and mixing water proofing material in mortar@ 1 kg per 50 kg of cement , all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (DSR-11.44)

Repair to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar, including disposal of rubbish, all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In- Charge. (DSR-14.75)

Disconnecting overhead/terrace PVC water storage tank of any size from water supply line and removing from the terrace including shifting at other location within 100m lead and placing on terrace, with cover and suitable arrangement and making necessary holes for inlet, outlet and overflow pipes but with fittings (coupling, required pipeline (old & new) ( designated dia and quality) for reinstallation of tank, tank nipple cpvc/upvc, etc. if required) for restore water supply during and after completion of water proofing work, from platform to terrace or from terrace to platform complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved. (DSR 15.60)
