PART-I: Servicing, overhauling and periodical maintenance of DG sets of following capacity including cleaning internal parts thoroughly, replacement oil filter, fuel filter, air cleaner, turbo charger etc making smooth valve seats of inlet and exhaust valves including replacement of minor parts such as nut, bolts, washers, banjo nut, bolts, washers, locking nuts, circle clips, `O’ Rings, Gasket, main cylinder head joint screws, stud small springs as deemed necessary or ordered complete and reassembling after replacement of unserviceable parts including painting with one coat of synthetic enameled paint of existing color after removing dust, dirt and oil by caustic soda etc, commissioning and testing on connected load complete specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. (Note : The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced spare parts which are catered in schedule for supply only shall be measured and paid for separately. however essential parts/work which is required for sound engineering practice will be deemed to include in the coated rate of this item).

Draining-out old spoiled lubrication oil from DG Sets of 10 to 200 KVA capacity, cleaning thoroughly the sump including supply and filling lubrication oil SAE-40 into the chamber/sump all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Make SERVO OF IOC/HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM/BPCL

Supply and fixing flexible pipe, filter to lub oil cooler including banjo bolt washers, copper asbestos washer, spring washer nuts and bolts for DG set of Capacity 20 to 200 KVA complete all as specified.

M&L for rewinding of alternator with `F' class copper wire as per existing gauge after dismantling the old coil cleaning throughly and winding with super enameled copper conductor of existing size and gauge, varnishing drying complete including transportation from site to workshop and back after repairing and refixing the same in DG set with testing DG set Capacity upto 200 KVA, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Disconnecting and taking down old unserviceable self starter for DG set Capacity upto 200 KVA, 12Volt and dismantling, complete for repair and replacement of the Following parts :- (a) Armature – 01 No (b) Solenoids switch – 01 No. (c) Field coils – 01 No. (d) Commentator – 01 No. (e) Carbon brush – 02 Nos. (f) Bendex assembly – 01 No.

M&L for complete wiring of DG Set control panel with suitable existing size of copper multistranded wire of any core incl taking down old unsv wiring of Capacity 20-200 KVA, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repalacement of Power Contactor 4 Pole 60 Amp AC-1 rating, 2NO+2NC arrangement, 440 volt, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for Door joint and handle locks arrangement for any size/capacity DG set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing brass terminal for batteries including taking out and removing existing unserviceable terminals, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling complete radiator assembly, cleaning and de-scaling of choked water tubes and jackets of radiator, cleaning the fins of radiator with acid including brazing of worn out copper tubes, body and fins and making complete the water body leak proof and testing by pressure including replacement of the worn out minor spares such as plain washers, spring washers, screws nuts, bolts, joints, rubber hoses with clip etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for top up coolent for DG sets complete all as specified and directed. Make: CASTROL - RADICOOL HEAVY DUTY COOLANT or Equivalent of SERVO, VEEDOL

Disconnecting all incomming /outgoing electric conenction carefully of fully automatic servo voltage stabilizer having capacity 20 to 100 KVA and transport to work shop for repair/servicing and including, dismantling top cover of stabilizer and taking out the coil, drain out the transformer oil and refilling after dehydration of transformer oil, cleaning internaly, including replacement of unserviceable body nuts, bolts, washers, top gaskets of cork sheet 6mm thick, replacement of internal circuit wiring if any suitable size of copper wire and painting of stabilizer with heat resistant smoke grey synthetic enameled paint including preparation of old rusted surfaces and writting MES NO, SM MES No, capacity, Ser No, Location etc and reinstallation/Connecting electric connection with replacement of proper size Aluminium lugs and testing on full load at site. Note:- Spare parts shall be measured and paid separatly.

S&F in repairs two side retro reflective sign board of inner size 3 feet x 2 feet with outer frame including stainless steel tubing 40mm bore and length 6 feet for proper support of sign board including foundation with PCC type C-2 1:3:6 (20mm graded aggregate) of size 0.2mx0.2mx0.2m at both side of stainless steel pillars. Sign board printed with green colour Retro radium based colour and laminated English Alphabets with deptt logo on both side as per existing sample at user site and taking out old unsv board, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

S&F MCCB 4 pole with fixed thermal and fixed magnetic release, 100 Amps having rupturing capacity 25 KA, including taking out old MCCB, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F MCCB 4 pole with fixed thermal and fixed magnetic release, 63 Amps having rupturing capacity 25 KA, including taking out old MCCB, complete all as specified and directed.

Replacement of Earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.30mm thick buried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.50 mtr below ground level, earth plate surrounded by 15 cm thick packed layer of charcoal and common salt alternatively upto 90 cm and connected with and including GI strip of size 25x4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI. 40 mm bore GI pipe light grade from earth plate up to testing point for protection of strip and 20 mm bore GI pipe medium grade with wire mesh and funnel for watering including necessary excavation and earth work PCC chamber (1:3:6) type C-2 with RCC cover complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES schedule Part I of SSR Part I (2009) complete all as specified. Repair and replacement of Aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm fixed on roof, pillars, wall etc, including porcelain isolater having not less than 50mm height with screws & saddles and placed at an interval not less than 50cm in such a manner that strip shoulde not touch the wall /roof/pillar surface etc,. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground above roof/wall/pole, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixed in repair of single pointed air termination copper rod 12mm dia, 300mm long having one end flat with one 10mm dia hole fixing on roof top including fixing/fitting of termination rod at one end of GI pipe 25mm dia stand post with the help of nuts, bolts etc and making connection with roof/down conductors and making fixing arrangement of air termination rod over the GI pipe along with aluminium strip etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw, complete all as specified and directed.

GI strip 25x4mm with saddle and fixing screw etc. for down conductors from terminal block to earthing pit above ground including taking out old, complete all as specified and as directed.

Mild steel galvanised light grade 50mm dia tubing with all fitting on pole including taking out old pipe, complete all as specified.

M&L for checking earthing result using earth testing machine for lightening conductors and submitting the results to MES power house duly signed by user, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Material and labour for servicing /testing and calibration of breaker/control panel including CT, PT and relays in control panel of VCB of capacity 630/800 Amps and rating 11 KV complete as details mentioned as under:- (a) Details of servicing of breaker :- (i) Adjustment of mechanism if required. (ii) Clean the circuit breaker to remove dust and dirt. The envelope of the vacuum interrupter and insulating materials shall be wiped with a clean cloth. (iii) Apply a small amount of oil to rotary sections, sliding surfaces, pins, coupling section, etc.use grease for the operating shaft and bearings, and machine oil for other parts. (iv) Check for rust and wear. (v) Check Spring Tension and pitting of the Cluster Contacts. (vi) Visual check for rust and deformation. (vii) Check for loosened bolts and nuts, broken spring washers and snap pins etc. (viii) Check for loosened connections, rust, damaged lead wires. (ix) Check whether the contacts are damaged by arcing. (x) Checking of control circuit & tighten the connections if any. (xi) Check close & trip coil. (xii) Checking of Jaw Contacts Conditions and repair/adjust. (xiii) Replace the jaw contacts,If required. (xiv) Improvement of resistance of epoxy insulator and epoxy body by applying post heated varnish. (xv) Replacement of Dashpot/shock absorbers . (xvi) Replacement of carbon brush of spring charging motor (b) The following test shall be carried out:- (i) Primary Injection Test of CT / PT (ii) Closing & Opening Timing Test for all three poles. (iii) IR Test with megger in open and closed condition. (iv) Contact resistance test for all three poles (v) Closing coil resistance (vi) Tripping coil resistance. (c) Testing of following relays of control panel with Secondary Injection Kit ,checking and programming of relay :- (i) Over current and earth fault relay. Note:- Job should be carried out by specialised contractor with expert team of CG/Alstom/Areva/Schneider make Breaker.

HRC fuse of rating 2 to 6 Amp any type to suit existing system, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix including Taking down Epoxy/ resin cast CT of dual core dual ratio 100-50/5+5A with 5 P 10 for protection and class-I accuracy having 15 VA burden, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Trip coil with plunger with working voltage 24 volts DC suitable for existing panel, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Closing coil with working voltage 24 volts DC suitable for existing panel, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Charging Spring motar of VCB trolley, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old UNSV insulator and Supply and fixing in replacement Epoxy resin cast insulator suitable for 11 KV VCB of Complete in all respect all as specified and directed.

Supply only insulation Tape for HT for (electro maintenance and protection), each peice 5 mtr long, complete all as specified and as directed in Engr-in Charge.

M&L for ON load Centrifuging and dehydration including filteration and cleaning of transformer oil by dehydration machine of 11/0.433 KV transformer at site and topping up deficient transformer oil including testing of samples before and after dehydration and filteration, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note :- Deficient quantity of Transformer oil required for top up shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this Schedule here-in-after as supply only.

M&L labour for alternative arrangement by hiring, transportation of transformer of capacity upto 400 KVA in place of unserviceable copper /aluminium wound from transformer of capacity upto 400 KVA, opening top cover and carrying out the following work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge:- (a) Dismantling of all attachment viz breather assembly, conservator, oil temperature gauge, HT/LT bushing minor repairs etc. as required and directed and keeping aside for reuse. (b) Taking out the core with winding assembly. (c) Removing of complete winding from core and dismantling the core, cleaning of core laminate sheet and keeping aside for reuse (d) Cleaning of complete transformer tank oil fins, removing of sludge, and making the inside surface of tank dry by blowing of hot air as directed and specified. (e) Painting of outside surfaces of transformer complete by means of spray machine as directed. (f) Rewinding of HT/LT leg coil complete using copper wire /strip of appropriate gauge, size and turn as per existing with double paper coated insulation including all requisite insulating materials like packing sleeves, separator, tapes etc. heating, varnishing the core and winding assembly after framing up top and bottom steel structure of transformer all as specified and directed. (g) Replacement of all insulating materials other than incorporated for rewinding of HT/LT coils as per existing. (h) Fixing only HT procelain bushing with studs, nuts, washers 3 Nos. and LT procelain bushing with studs, nuts, and washers 4 Nos. and connection with primary and secondary windings and reconnecting with the main terminals as required and directed. (j) Replacement of all unserviceable gasket from top cover, HT/LT bushing with new one by using rubberised gasket sheet 4.0mm/6.0mm thick duly pasted with suitable adhesive . (k) Replacement of unserviceable bolts with new one and fixing of existing serviceable bolts, nuts, washers of different sizes and tightening properly. Note :- The contractor shall give written warranty of one year from the certified date of completion for the repaired transformer. HT/LT leg coils and transformer oil required for top up shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this Schedule here-in-after as supply only.

Supply only transformer oil of approved quality as per IS having dielectric strength of 45-60 KV in 2.5mm gap for filling in transformer or for topping up as required and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Supplying and fixing in replacement (at site/workshop), Porcelain Transformer bushing on LT (440 Volt) side, including brass stems conical bush and gasket after disconnecting electrically and mechanically for indoor/outdoor transformer of capacity upto 400 KVA and re-connecting electrically and mechanically, testing, complete all as specified and directed. Note.The rates quoted is deemed to be included the cost of necessary labour charges for draining out & re-filling transformer oil, opening of top cover by unscrewing nuts, bolts, washers and suitable size pad type bus bar almuminium and nut bolt washers etc.

Supplying and fixing in replacement (at site/workshop), Porcelain Transformer bushing on HT (11 KV) side, including brass stems conical bush and gasket after disconnecting electrically and mechanically for indoor/outdoor transformer of capacity upto 400 KVA and connecting electrically and mechanically, testing, complete all as specified and directed. M&L or rewiding of HT/LT coils of transformer of capacity 25 KVA to 400 KVA with super enamelled copper winding wire of appropriate gauge and proper number of turns alongwith insulating material eg leatheroid, paper insulation, cotton tapes, Empire tapes, wooden block packings, PVC sleeves, soldering and varnishing with insulating varnish, heating/drying etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Maintenance & repair of Compact substation(3Way/4way) from OEM at various location of following capacity (Note: rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of any type of T&P, testing kits, wiring of any type of existing size wire & tagging, CT's, metering and Metering Display device, manpower, including any Spare parts parts required on site and required at site for any type of maintenance). 1) IEC 62271.202, Type CSS - SN, Transformer: 11/0.433kV, upto 400 kVA The scope of work is as follow:- (A). RMU 630A (HT Side) 1. Checking and making fuctionality of RMU mechanism in auto and manual mode. 2. Checking and toping up of SF6 gas of any quantity, rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of any type of T&P required at site and producing certifate of same from OEM. 3. Checking and making functional breakers ON/OFF operation, manually & electrically. 4. Functional checking of all electrical & mechanical interlock operation of RMU. 5. Testing of CTs & Relays with testing kit and producing certificate of same from OEM. 6. Caliberation of Relays and producing certifate of same from OEM. (B). Transformer (upto 400 KVA) 1. Checking and making Transformer functional. 2. Checking and toping up of oil level in T/F. 3. Checking and making Functional of cooling fan, if available. 4. Checking function of hooter/Buzzer. 5. Routine test of Transformer and producing test certificate of same.

(C). LT Side. 1. Checking and making all the ACB & MCCBs fuctional. 2. Checking and making all the ACB/MCCBs ON/OFF operation manually & electrically. 3. Checking and adjusting and servicing all the ACB and ACB relay setting as per load conditions, Metering devices, CT's and wiring of any type and producing certificate of the same. 4. Repair/replacement to APFC panel capacitor bank of 25KVAR x 4 (max) and APFC relay setting, repairing LCD display, repairing/replacing CT's, fans, contactors of any type, fuse is deemed to be included in quoted rate. 5. Repair replacement of battery charger upto 24 Volts is deemed to be included in quoted rate. 6. Repair/replacement of flash out Bus bar & insulators of any length, rating and any quantity is deemed to be included in quoted rate. 7. Repair/replacement of unserviceable handle assembly FNX/FN type, auxillary contact kit, LED indication of any colour, push button etc. is deemed to be included in quoted rate. Note: Job should be carried out by Specialised Contractor with expert team of Schneider make RMU.

Material & Labour for repairing of cable termination 95 sqmm including additional cable braid earth, lug seal, new lug and anti traction tube, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for servicing of ACB with Microprocessor (Make: crompton greaves), Range (800-1250Amps) 415V, 50Hz,50 KA, after taking shut down and properly replacing flash out bus bars, settings relays and their mechanism, repairing charging mechanism & handle, removing wornout parts, repacing and testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge. Note:- T&P and Parts required to make the ACB are deemed to be included in quoted rates.

S&F of Space Heater of rating 80W/200W with Thermostat (25 degree to 65 degree) in Bus Chamber, Cable chamber & Breaker Chamber with Copper Wiring for connection from Control chamber to given location incliding all accessories i.e lugs, Cable tie, screws, nuts etc, complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.
