Operation and Maintenance of Various Integrated Water Supply Schemes under Canning Sub - Division of Alipore Division, P.H.E. Dte. The Agency will impart sufficient knowledge based to the representatives of the schools, so as to maintain the whole system in letter and sprit. this does not include any spares and raw materials for Operation & Maintenance of the schemes. The agency should take adequate care for proper operation and day to day - weekly - monthly preventive maintenance to keep system healthy. All the machines and apparatus electrical panel board, switch, gears etc. to be monitored and checked for its proper functioning. The agency should also ensure the preventive maintenance schedule. The work should comprise of monthly scheme visit including water sample collection and submission of the same at PHE Laboratory, periodical disinfection, cleaning and checking of solar cell, pump controller, battery, pumps and plumbing accessories etc. Efficient fault booking system must be maintained by the agency keeping close liason between schools and EIC. Fault indified should be rectifited within 72 hours. Materials required for maintenance work should be issued from the Sub Divisional Store on submission of requisition approved by EIC and all unservicable materials must be returned back to Sub Divisional Store. (No additional carriage is admissible in this regard) (This item should be done after Repair of the damaged Integrated Water Supply Schemes) 68 nos. x 6 months = 408 nos.

Replacing the damaged 1.00 HP capacity DC Solar Photovoltaic Submersible Pump set (900 watt., designed to use with solar power) by new one including supplying to site, fixing and return back the damaged pump to the Sub - Divisional store including transporation charges of road ways as well as water ways, labour charges of withdrawal of the damaged one and lowering of the new one and maintenance for the duration of 06 (six) months from the installation date.

Replacing the damaged Electric Cable, 3 Core 4 sqm. For submersible Pump by new cable including supplying to site, fixing including transportation charges of road ways as well as water ways, labour charges and maintenance for the duration of 06 (six) months from the installation date

Surging of existing tube well with chemical treatment and bucket wash (prior to use of compressor machine) and developing the tube well with compressor machine at least 3 (three) days at 8 (eight) hours per day till the yield is obtained at least by 75% of the total specified yield of the tube well (measured by 'V' notch tank) and draw down is within the permissible limit of 10% variation and water so obtained after such washing and developing will be free from sand and bacteria for which test report from the Public Analyst is to be obtained. (The rate is inclusive of all labour and materials including hire charges of tools and plants and cost of materials.) (a) For tube well from 40 mm to 100mm top enlarged to have yield from 1500 to 3000 gallons per hour as per size and yield.
