Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc., by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying :

(a) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/ sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours. (b) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours. (The rate includes preparation of surface, treatment and sealing of all joints, corners, junctions of pipes and masonry with polymer mixed slurry.)

Providing and laying water proofing treatment on roofs of slabs by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying:

(a) after surface preparation, first layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm. (b) laying second layer of Fibre glass cloth when the first layer is still green. Overlaps of joints of fibre cloth should not be less than 10 cm. (c) third layer of 1.5 mm thickness consisting of slurry of cement @ 1.289 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.670 kg/sqm and coarse sand @ 1.289 kg/sqm. This will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed by water curing for 48 hours. The entire treatment will be taken upto 30 cm on parapet wall and tucked into groove in parapet all around. (d) fourth and final layer of brick tiling with cement mortar (which will be paid for separately. (For the purpose of measurement the entire treated surface will be measured.)

Fixing chowkhats in existing opening including embedding chowkhats in floors or walls cutting masonry for holdfasts, embedding hold fasts in cement concrete blocks of size 15 x 10 x 10 cm with cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), painting two coats of approved wood preservative to sides of chowkhats and making good the damages to walls and floors as required complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge.

(The old date already written on tank should be removed with paint remover or black paint and if date is not written with the stencil or old date is not removed deduction will be made @ Rs. 0.10 per litre if during cleaning any GI fittings or ball cock is damaged that is to be repaired by contractor at his own cost and nothing extra will be paid on this account)

Disconnecting damaged overhead/terrace PVC water storage tank of any size from water supply line and removing from the terrace including shifting at ground level as per direction of Engineer-in- charge.

Dismantling W.C. Pan of all sizes including disposal of dismantled materials i/c malba all complete as per directions of Engineer-in- Charge.

24 mm thick factory made PVC door shutters made of styles and rails of a uPVC hollow section of size 59x24 mm and wall thickness 2 mm (± 0.2 mm) with inbuilt edging on both sides. The styles and rails mitred and joint at the corners by means of M.S. galvanised/plastic brackets of size 75x220 mm having wall thickness 1.0 mm and stainless steel screws. The styles of the shutter reinforced by inserting galvanised M.S. tube of size 20x20 mm and 1 mm (± 0.1 mm) wall thickness. The lock rail made up of ‘H’ section, a uPVC hollow section of size 100x24 mm and 2 mm (± 0.2 mm) wall thickness, fixed to the shutter styles by means of plastic/galvanised M.S. ‘U’ cleats. The shutter frame filled with a uPVC multi-chambered single panel of size not less than 620 mm, having over all thickness of 20 mm and 1 mm (± 0.1 mm) wall thickness. Cleaning of man hole chamber including inter connected sewer line in all compounds of Dehradun SSA including removal of earth, silt, sludge, brick bats, garbade etc. Cleaning of manholes shall be done as per site reqirement. (Note:- Rate includes the cost of Cleaning of manholes sewer line i/c dewatering, removal of manhole cover and keeping the same back in position after completion of job.)

Removing of chokage of floor traps, Nahani traps, water closet and associated C.I. pipe and bends to ettect smooth flow of wastes by pressure pushing, flexible wire and taking out refuse and dispose off etc. complete.

Removal of chockage / blockege in W.C. Seat including cleaning of seat & disposal of waste material all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of septic tank including removal of sludge and waste material & cleaning of allied sewer line and disposal of waste material beyond municipal limits in tankers and other mechanical means. (Notes: The rate includes tanker charges for disposal of sewage and flusing water as may be required and all labour, T & P etc. involved for completion of work all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.)

Removing plantation and its roots from buildings upto all heights including dismentling and repairing plaster and masonry all complete as per direction of Engineer - in- chagre and applying chemical with name "ROUND UP" or equivilatant on the roots of plants. (Note: The rate includes arrangement of necessary scaffolding and ladders).

Repairing of aluminium doors including dismembering, replacement of cleats, fixing of tie rod, replacement of pivots, refixing of the door all complete as per direction of Engineer- in- Charge. (Note: Rate includes cost of material and labour required for the job)

Repair of steel doors, window and vantilater by electric welding replacement of necessary hinges if required complete i/c transportation of welding plant, scaffolding etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Repair of damaged panels of false ceiling by providing missing Tee, suspenders, wire, dash fashners, Screws and Matching panels etc complete as per the site requirement & direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing galvanised wire mesh of aperture 1.40 mm and nominal dia of 0.63 mm.

Reparing of chajja after disamntling and recasting wherever required including repairing of edges with cement mortar 1:3(1 cement:3 coarse sand), repairing of damaged plaster with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement:3 coarse land). Making necessary arrangement for scaffolding and ladders upto 10.00 m height. all complete as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Arranging services for plumbing, masonry jobs for day to day maintenance of all departmental buildings i/c repair/fixing of bib cock, stop cock, pillar taps, PVC connection, shower rose, GI pipes, gully traps, joints, water tanks etc. whenever & wherever required, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: All T&P shall be arranged by the agency except materials required which will be supplied by the department. Payments shall be made on job basis for period of one month).

Providing Mannual assistance for miscellaneous works as per site requirement and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: One Man day shall be treated as One job)

Repair of existing rolling shutters by taking out and refixing the same after change of necessary parts such as spring / ball bearing etc if required i/c doing welding etc. as per the site required & as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: The rate includes cost of material and labour required for complete repairing).

Cleaning of roofs including removing algae, dust, leaves opening of rainwater pipes and their inlets. Cleaning of khurras and disposal of rubbish and waste material at appropriate place inside the campus all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of under ground sump, Over Head R.C.C. Tank (independent staging) including disposal of silt and rubbish, all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The cleaning shall consist following operations:-(i) Tank shall be emptied of water by pumping/manually & bottom shall be cleaned of silt and other deposits.(ii) Entire surface area of the sump shall then be scrubbed thoroughly with wire brush etc. and pressure washed with water. (iii) Chlorination of RCC internal surface by liquid chlorine/ bleaching powder. (iv) The treated surface shall be dried and all loose particles shall be removed from the surface and flush cleaned with water (v) Finally, the bottom shall be emptied/ cleaned of silt & waste water by pumping etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

P/L water proofing treatment on roof by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound such as Dr Fixit pedecrete or Equivalent, consisting of applying after surface preparation and cleaning of joints with slurry of cement 0.75 kg per square metre mixed with water proofing compound of Dr Fixit or Equivalent, 200 ml per 50 kg bag of cement. This will be allowed to air cure for 72 hours followed with water curing for 72 hours as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing water proofing chemicals Dr fixit pedecrete of Pidilite company or equivalent as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing door seal in existing door shutter as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system on the exterior/interior side or as required, upto three story height made with bamboos 1.50 m c/c horoizontal and vertical bamboos tied with rope & wire with suitable climbing ladders and working platforms, including, maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done).

Providing cement OPC 43 Grade for Miscellenous repair works all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Re-errection/Fixing of aluminium patitions/ door shutters i/c cleaning & cutting of all materials as per requirement and providing new angle cleat, aluminium hinges for doors, neoprene/pvc gasket, alluminium screw etc. wherever required all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Aluminium sections, snap beadings, door fittings and panelling materials shall be supplied free of cost or paid for separately. However, the rate includes cost of providing and fixing hinges/pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings in doors wherever required including the cost of new PVC/neoprene gasket/stainless steel screws/aluminium cleat angle etc. & carriage of material i/c some parts of old dismantled aluminium partition to the site upto a distance of 10km)
