Rehabilitation work of K-Taxi and some portion of A-Taxi and Secondary Runway at NSCBI Airport Kolkata SH Electrical works

Supply of 2C x 4 sq.mm. 600 Volts grade, flexible copper conductor, EPR insulated and CPE (Chlorinated Polyethylene, cross - linked, heavy duty) / PCP (Polychloroprene) outer sheath (Black colour), Secondary cable for Airfield Lighting (AFL) circuits as specified in technical specification etc. complete as required. (FAA certified cable only).

Supply of Fire Retardant Yellow/Green 4 sq. mm. Single Core PVC Insulated Industrial Grade Copper Conductor (Unsheathed) Flexible Cables, 450/750V confirming to BS 6004 : 2000 OR 1100 Volts Conforming to IS: 694 : 1990.

Supply of following sizes 5 KV grade dry type plug and receptacle of type I, class 'B' primary Connector kit with field attachment and suitable for 5 KV grade single core copper conductor, copper braided, XLPE insulated, PE outer sheathed shielded cable, complete as required and confirming to the specifications. (FAA certified connector only). a) 6 sq mm.

Supplying and making end termination of Secondary lead with secondary connector kit etc. complete as required.

Dismantling of existing Elevated fittings along with secondary cable, Isolating Transformer (IT), Addressable Switching Devices (ASD) etc. from the Box and returning temporarily to AAI Store as required as per directions of the Engineer In-charge.

Dismantling of existing 12 inch dia inset fitting along with shallow base from bituminous/concrete pavement, fill the area with bitumen/cement concrete cleaning the shallow base and returning in AAI stores complete as required.

Dismantling of existing 08 inch dia inset fitting along with shallow base from bituminous/concrete pavement, fill the area with bitumen/cement concrete cleaning the shallow base and returning in AAI stores complete as required.

Dismantling of cable laid in existing pipe / Duct along with IT, ASD etc. from the Box of size up to 25 Sq. mm., upto 5 KV grade and returning to AAI store.

Making temporary arrangement (to operationalize the other part of the runway/taxiway) for all the circuits disturbed during rehabilitation work at taxiway and some portion of runway. This job involves dismantling, disconnection of the affected part of circuits, fittings, diversion of cables, connection, interconnection to provide the fully functional system on the balance part of the runway/taxiway during the progress of the work and again reinstallation of fitting, connection of circuits etc. while handing over the same to operation by the end of the NOTAM period including all materials, tools , spares, labours, consumables, co-ordination as required so as to keep the Operation alive etc. as per directions of the Engineer In charge.

Supply and installation of up to 100 mm high MS collar with suitable design for holding the Runway Edge / Taxiway edge lights on top and bottom bolted to the existing box / shallow base of isolating transformer housing box including cement concreting, painting, sign writing etc. complete as required and as per directions of the Engineer In-charge. (Note: Final height of collar shall be as per thickness of bitumen/concrete overlay)

Laying of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE power cable of 1.1 KV grade including one number earth cable of following size in the existing RCC / HUME / METAL / GI / HDPE pipe as required. Upto 35 sq. mm.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) including any form work etc. as required.

Taking GPS based co-ordinates by using total station and identifying the locations of light fixtures, route of cable etc. based on GPS co-ordinates and marking, submission of reports and design of runway light (such as REH, TXE, TXC, RCL, STB< Gourd Light etc.) as per ICAO Specification as required and as per directions of the Engineer In charge.

Installation, Testing and Commissioning of elevated fittings i/c installation of isolating transformer, ASD, crimping/jointing of plug & receptacles and other accessories required for commissioning i/c supply of all accessory materials (except fixture, secondary lead, plug & receptacles & isolating transformer) etc. as required and as per directions of the Engineer In charge.

Installation, testing and Commissioning of inset type fittings of size 12 inch dia. with core cutting, aligning and setting i/c providing sealing material and installation of Isolating Transformer, ASD, Crimping / Jointing of Plug receptacles & other accessories required for commissioning i/c supply of all materials except fixture, secondary lead, plug & receptacles & isolating transformer etc. as required and as per directions of the Engineer In charge.

Installation, testing and Commissioning of inset type fittings of size 08 inch dia. with core cutting, aligning and setting i/c providing sealing material and installation of Isolating Transformer, Crimping / Jointing of Plug receptacles & other accessories required for commissioning i/c supply of all accessory materials (except fixture, secondary lead, plug & receptacles & isolating transformer etc.), as required and as per directions of the Engineer In charge.

Kerf cutting with machine in taxiway/runway/apron of PQC/bituminous surface of depth 30 mm and width 15 mm for 1 or 2 nos secondary lead along with earth cables and laying of secondary lead and earth cable by wrapping cotton tape i/c refilling the same by suitable sealing material etc. complete as required and as per instruction of Engineer In-Charge.

Constructing RCC Chamber of Length 1.5 mtr. X 1.5 m (Breadth) X 1.5 m (depth) inside using Reinforced cement concrete of 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 Coarse sand : 3 Graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) and centering, shuttering including stutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Foundations, footings, bases of columns etc. for mass concrete and Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete up to plinth level. Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more and fixing of chequred plate of 10 mm thick on the top with suitable MS channels affixed onto the chamber body and as per the drawing enclosed in page no of Technical specification and designing of the chamber, getting the design vetted by reputed Govt. (Agency/University) Institution etc. as required and as directed by Engineer In-Charge.

Supplying and installing following size of perforated Hot Dipped Galvanised Iron cable tray (Galvanisation thickness not less than 50 microns) with perforation not more than 17.5%, in convenient sections, joined with connectors, fixed on the walls of trench with MS angle support including G.I. bolts & nuts, painting of MS angle etc. as required. 300 mm width X 62.5 mm depth X 2.0 mm thicknes

Provision of vehicle @ 50 kms per day for Site supervision of the entire length of work on daily basis i/c provision of speed governor i/c driver, fuel, ADP, AEP passes, Insurance etc. as mentioned in Special Conditions of Contract and as directed by the Engineer In-Charge.

Supply of 40 mm dia. GI pipe (medium class), ISI marked, complete with GI accessories like couplers, bend, tee etc. complete as required for AGL work.

Supply of 50 mm outer dia. (OD-50 mm & ID-38 mm nominal) DWC HDPE (High density polyethylene) pipe, ISI marked, conforming to IS 14930, Part II with latest amendments, along with all accessories like socket, couplers, bend, tee etc. and with pulling rope fitted inside complete as required and as per technical specifications.

Supply of 65 mm dia GI pipe (medium class), ISI marked, complete with GI accessories like couplers, bend, tee etc. complete as required for AGL work.

Supply of 90 mm dia. (OD-90 mm & ID-76 mm nominal) DWC HDPE (High density polyethylene) pipe, ISI marked, conforming to IS 14930, Part II with latest amendments, along with all accessories like socket, couplers, bend, tee etc. and with pulling rope fitted inside, complete as required and as per technical specifications.
