Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation, laying of pipes etc or for shaft wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in Soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in Hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated surplus materials to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying in repair of CPVC pipes Sch 40 pipes & plain Sch 80 fittings, laid in trenches fixed to walls/floors /ceiling , and jointed with CPVC primer & solvent cement of inner dia 100 mm including dismantling old one complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto as per Sl item No 04 but for inner dia 75mm complete.

Ditto as per Sl item No 04 but for inner dia 62.5mm complete.

Supply and laying 50mm outer dia CPVC pipes SDR-13.5 & plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings, laid in trenches/Walls , jointing with yellow solvent cement complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto as per Sl item No 07 but for 25mm outer dia.

Material & Labour for drilling suitable dia horizontal bore holes for insertion/ laying of 50mm to 150mm bore CI/DI/CPVC tubing of any description below/under existing road surfaces / floors at a level not less than 0.45 metre etc with using mechanical or manual devices as required at site including making good the disturbed surfaces to match with the existing after laying pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) Cost of equipment tools and plant material (horizontal boring rig machine) required for boring shall be arranged by contractor at no extra cost to the department.

Supply & Fix 500 liters capacity Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (ISI marked) (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted & fixed in position including taking down the unserviceable old one complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto as per Sl item No 12 but for 1000 litres capacity.

Supply & Fix 25 mm bore float valve synthetic (PTMT) high pressure with polythene ball of size 6" dia and flynut including taking own the old unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed.

Ditto as per Sl item No 14 but for 20 mm bore float valve.

Repairs to CI sluice valves flanged type 150/100/ 80/65mm dia by taking down worn out unserviceable gland sleeve, check nut spindle, gate etc, and cleaning the valve by removing all scales and reassembling the valve with new packing nut and bolts complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in road cutting complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in road cutting, supporting of pipes etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fix CPVC ball valve screwed both ends suitable for fixing with CPVC pipe of outer dia 20mm and taking down the old unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed.

Ditto as per Sl item No 19 but for outer diameter 25 mm.

Disconnecting of electric supply from star delta starter of defective centrifugal pumping set and taking out pump set with 5 HP to 30 HP motor from foundation and Re-assembling of complete motor and fixing with pump set and testing complete at site, jointing, welding, turning and polishing to pump shaft any size CI/GM impeller CI bowl, making key with key way & other replacement of worn out parts with new including lath work & any type of machine work required at site including replacement of 5/8” nut & bolt, rubber gasket and reassembling pump set complete after repair, connecting & testing complete all as directed.(Note:- Quoted rate includes cost of transportation also.)

Material & labour for Rewinding of centrifugal motor stator 5 HP to 10 HP with super enameled insulated copper wire as per existing gauge with other winding material including cleaning of stator, slots replacement of defective components and parts complete all as directed.

Supply and install DOL starter with single phase protection features in sheet steel enclosure type MN motor rating 415 V, 50 Hz, 3 phase upto 5 HP motor.

Supply and fix Cl foot valve flange type 100 mm dia conforming to IS 4038 complete fixed on suction pipe of pump all as directed.

Ditto as per Sl item No 37 but of 50 mm dia.

Supply,laying and testing ductile iron pipe 150 mm bore spigot class K-9 as per IS-8329 with inside cement lined complete with push on rubber joints all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(Earth work for route change/joints shall be measured and paid for separately).

Ditto as per Sl item No 39 but for 100mm dia bore.

Supply and fixing upto 150mm dia bore DI/CI special such as bends, tees collars tail pieces confirming to IS-9523 flanged type complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of existing cast iron pipe line of upto 150 mm bore in position for inserting CI/DI Special such as tees, bend, collar, tail piece etc for fixing of sluice valves/for branch connection etc. Note: - Excavation & earth work, CI Special & sluice valves of size & lead joint shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

Material and labour for run lead joint including all jointing material for 80mm bore cast iron spigot & socketed pipe & fittings including burning out old leaking lead joints in position and removing old lead. (Earth work shall be measured and paid separately).

Ditto all as per Sl item No 43 but for 100mm bore pipe.

Material and labour for construction of one brick masonry valve pit built in cement mortar 1:6 of size 110cm x 110cm x105cm (internal dimension) over 15cm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 sub base extended all-round 15cm beyond external edge of brick work including plastering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 internally and plus pointing to brick wall surfaces externally as work proceeds complete with MS sheet cover 10 SWG with handle, angle iron frame 40mm x 40mm x 6mm (grouting with anchor fashioners length not less than 15cm - 04 Nos) locking arrangement and painting complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Rate quoted by the tenderer shall deem to be included the cost of excavation and earth work).

Ditto as per Sl item No 50 but of size 90cm x 90cm x 105cm (internal dimension).

Supply and fixing cast iron body sluice valve heavy duty class PN 1.6 flanged ends any pattern with head wheels & brass spindle ISI marked confirming to IS-14846 of 2000 for 65 mm bore pipe with jointing material, flanged joint, rubber gasket 6mm thick,MS wedge nuts & bolts, washer 10mm thick complete including dismantling old one all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Ditto all as per Sl item No 52 but for 80mm bore pipe.

Ditto all as per Sl item No 52 but for 100mm bore pipe.

Ditto all as per Sl item No 52 but for 150mm bore pipe.

Supply and fix in repair the holding clamp made of flat iron 100 mm wide and 15 mm for 100/80 mm bore pipe with 04 nos of drilled holes including nut bolts etc complete all as directed.

Supply & Fix Well Cap of iron sheet 6mm thick for 150MM (6 Inch) to 300mm (12 inch) bore pipe with proper shape for submersible cable, column pipes etc including nut bolts, welding work and other fixing materials complete all as directed.

Supply & Fix Float valve ball (set of two balls) of size 250mm dia into Over head reservoir of capacity 15000 to 60000 gallon connected with ceiling rope 2 mm dia of length upto 40 metres with GI Plate indicator hanged along with ceiling rope for indication of water level complete all as directed.

Supply & Fix Bearing type pulley for support and movement of ceiling rope on over head reservoir, 03 Nos for each tank including fixing and connected accessories complete for Over head reservoir of capacity 15000 to 60000 gallon.(at Depot, Ambalapady, & TSK area).

Material & Labour for cutting and removing grass, vegetation bushes etc from surrounding water supply installation/AGE B/R Office premises and removing all rubbish to a distance not exceeding 50 m as directed. (Note: cutting of grass will be done thrice during contract and rates quoted to be deemed all equipments/tools/consumable items etc.)

Disconnecting of electric supply from star delta starter of defective submersible pumping set and taking out pump set with 15 HP motor from water body by the help of tripod and chain pulley including submersible cable and other accessories etc and relowering, commissioning and testing the same after repairing of submersible pump set straitening ring, jointing, welding, turning and polishing to pump shaft any size CI/GM impeller CI bowl, making key with key way & other replacement of worn out parts with new including lath work & any type of machine work required at site including replacement of nut & bolt, rubber gasket of column pipe and reassembling pump set complete after repair, connecting & testing all as directed. Note :- (a) Transportation of pump sets from site to workshops and vice versa shall deem to be included in the unit quoted rate. (b) Tools & Plant required at site will be arranged by the contractor.

Supply pea shaped gravel of size 1/8 to 3/8 inches and gravel shrouding in annular space between well and liner assembly required during re-development.

Redevelopment of tube well with air compressor of adequate capacity (not less than 250 cfm) till the availability of sand free clear water, subject to minimum 48 hours of operation of air compressor. (Note: Transportation of compressor and other allied equipment/material to and from the site of tube well is to be deemed in the quoted rates).

Material & Labour for Stabilization and yield testing of tube well by using submersible pump of adequate capacity (subject to minimum of 24 hours of development with submersible Pump) including conduction of sounding test.

Supply and fixing MS heavy duty ISI marked column pipe 100/80 mm bore 3 metre long both ends flanged all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Replacement of single phase preventer of capacity 100 Amps with reverse phase/ single phase/overload protection all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for cleaning inside RCC Over Head tank of 20000 Litres capacity (at TSK) by removing dirt, sediments, stilts, algae etc from internal bottom and wall surfaces of tank using suitable brushes, applying bleaching powder and other cleaning agents as required and applying two coat of lime wash inside surface, including writing capacity of tank and date of cleaning on outside the tank using synthetic enamel paint and removing of creepers and bushes over the OH tank and perimeter of the OH Tank all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Ditto all as per Serial item No 67, but for OH Tank of capacity upto 60000 gallon at Ambalapady & NAD Depot complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

All as per item No.67 but without application of lime wash for underground Sump of 20000/25000 Litres capacities at TSK-1, Ambalapady-1, Ayudh Vihar Colony- 02 including writing the capacity of tank and date of cleaning on outside the tank using synthetic enamel paint: including removing creepers and bushes all as specified and directed by Enginee-in-charge.

Ditto as per item No 67 but for Under Ground Sump of capacity 50000/60000 Litres at Ambalapady-1, Depot-1, NAD Colony-01.

Ditto as per item No 67 but inside the HDPE/AC tanks of 5000 Litres capacity

Material and Labour for applying synthetic enamel paint with one coat of painting of approved colour to overhead reservoir iron stairs/railings etc including connected accessories as per instruction complete including preparation of old painted surface complete all as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Servicing of tank Model No. VST 1006 net capacity 100 litres of FRP dosing tank top dia 540mm x bottom dia 480mm x height 575mm consisting of the following, (a) Water inlet line. Material & Labour for disconnecting and refixing after repairing of water meter 50 mm to 150 mm dia by lab or OEM Service centre and testing from KWA as per norms. (Note : Rate quoted deemed for any type of repair of water meter, testing, transportation etc including replacement of defective parts)

Supply & Fix in repair Cast Iron Air Valves with two air outlets, 50 mm dia bore and fixing up in cast iron water supply mains.

Material and Labour for applying synthetic enamel paint with one coat of painting of approved colour to Centrifugal motor pump upto 30 HP including connected accessories such as sluice valves (65 mm to 150 mm size),flanges, bends, Pipes etc with marking as per instruction complete including prep ration of old painted surface. Note: All pumps/sluice valves/pipes/NRV and connected accessories at One pump house will be measured as one job.

Supply and fix, Ball brass Valve high pressure 50 mm, with polyethylene float and fly nut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed.
