GPS BASED POPULATION DENSITY INDEX SURVEY

Carrying out GPS based Population Density Survey (PDI) for Gas pipelines / routes as per Scope of work, Technical Specfications & other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work including but not limited to Preparation and submission of reports.The work may also includes submission of comparison report of current PDI data vs old PDI data based on details provided by GAIL for old PDI in case of older pipelines. The details to be submitted in .shp/.gdb file to be used for GIS mapping. (Minimum payment for 2 KM to be made for shorter length of less than 2 KM).

SOIL STRATIFICATION SURVEY

Carrying out soil investigation work along the pipeline route as per as per Scope of work, Technical Specifications & other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work. The work shall include but not be limited to boring of minimum 150mm dia bore hole from Natural Ground Level @ approx. 250mts centre to centre for visual classifications of proposed pipeline by providing all manpower, support /facilities necessary for the work and submission of complete reports / details to GAIL and testing shall be carried out from Govt. approved/NABL certified laboratory. (Minimum payment for 6 Nos bore hole of 3m depth and 2 nos. bore holes of 5m depth to be made for survey jobs of short length of less than 2 KM i.e. minimum length of 2 KM)

CORROSION SURVEY

Carrying out Corrosion survey as per Scope of work, Technical Specifications and other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work including but not limited to the measurement of soil resistivity at an interval of approx. 500 mtr. along the RoU, chemical analysis of soil/water at the interval of 5 Km and collection of other Cathodic Protection(CP) related data like HT Power lines along & across Right of Use (RoU) of proposed pipeline by providing all manpower, support /facilities necessary for the work and submission of complete reports / details to GAIL and testing shall be carried out from Govt. approved/NABL certified laboratory (Minimum payment for 2 KM to be made for shorter length of less than 2 KM).

CADASTRAL SURVEY

Carrying out Cadastral survey for RoU acquisition as per Scope of work, Technical Specifications and other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work including but not limited to (a) Collection of Village Maps (Revenue Map), digitization of Village Map (cadastral map) and transfer of alignment and RoU in the maps for RoU acquisition, (b) Collection of certified Ownership details (c) Collection of Field Measurement Book (FMB) (d) Providing Land Schedule (in English, Hindi) (e) Converting the details so collected into .shp files/.gdb and submission to GAIL as specified in Scope of work by providing all support/ facilities necessary for the work and submission of report/drawings. (Minimum payment for 2 KM to be made for shorter length of less than 2 KM).

NEED ASSESSMENT SURVEY

Carrying out need assessment survey as per Scope of work,Technical Specifications and other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work including but not limited to collection of demographic details & developmental needs of the community in the surrounding area en-route proposed (cross-country) pipeline to be informed by GAIL. The details to be acquired preferably through an agency having exposure of carrying out such survey to be deployed by the contractor separately.

FIXING OF MARKERS

Providing & fixing pillars of precast RCC or stone material along the centre line of pipeline route (size 125x150x700 mm) as per Scope of work,Technical Specifications and other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work for IPs, TPs and at either sides of major crossings. IPs are to be fixed at intervals of 250 Mts approx. Submission of report as per Scope of work.

Providing & fixing Pillars of precast reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 with reinforcement as per technical specification, Scope of Work, other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work including soil excavation compaction complete at intervals given by the EIC and Submission of report.

REVALIDATION SURVEY

Carrying out revalidation survey as per Scope of work, Technical Specifications & other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) including but not limited to verification of centreline of RoU, Alignment, Cross section, Route Map, Survey Reports and RoU data of earlier surveyed route/ existing pipeline RoU, based on the available data/documents by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support facilities necessary for the work. (Minimum payment for 2 KM to be made for shorter length of less than 2 KM). The work shall also include : a) Collection of village map/revenue maps, digitization of revenue maps, certified latest ownership details with land schedule. b) Providing & fixing Providing & fixing pillars of precast RCC or other suitable material (size as per specifications) for IPs, TPs and at either sides of major crossings. along the centre line of pipeline route. c) Submission of updated route map, alignment sheets, cross sectional drawings of crossings, digitized cadastral maps, village maps en-route for entire length as per revised Chainages. d) Submission of Survey report, other drawings / Documents / Details etc.

DIGITISATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF GIS/LIS

The scope of Digitisation and development of GIS/LIS for the survey data shall be carried out as per Technical specifications, Scope of work, other provisions of contract document and as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work including but not limited to uploading the survey data in GAIL's system. (Minimum payment for 2 KM to be made for shorter length of less than 2 KM).

GROUND PENETRATING RADAR SURVEY

Carrying out GPR survey 2D mode at the locations possible as per the map and actual site conditions and as per Scope of work, Technical Specifications and other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work .(Minimum payment for 2 KM to be made for shorter length of less than 2 KM).

Excavation of Trial pits at 1.5m x 1.5m x 1.5m, @ 1 pit in approx. length of 1 KM for reconfirming the findings, as per Scope of work, Technical Specifiications & other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work.(Minimum payment for 2 KM to be made for shorter length of less than 2 KM).

TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY

To carry out detailed Topographic Survey as per Scope of work, Technical Specifications & other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work at different locations of Plots/Area of SV Station/ Pigging Station/ Receiving Terminal along with survey of the approaches of these stations from the nearest roads using survey instruments and giving complete details in the form of drawings (in the scale of 1:100) and as specified in Tender on white paper sheets and editable CAD output on Digital Media as per specifications.

Providing & Constructing RCC Permanent Pillars of size as per Scope of work, Technical Specifications and other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work.

PROVIDING LPC/RoR

Providing LPC / RoR and other related documents for RoU acquisition as per Scope of work, other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work.

SURVEY USING LiDAR

Carrying out LiDAR survey work as per Scope of work, Technical Specifications and other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work.

Aerial LiDAR Survey complemented with Aerial Photography shall be carried out as per Technical specifications, Scope of work & other provisions of Contract Document for the proposed Area of Interest (AOI) as supplied by GAIL covering the following activities but not limited to: a. Location of GTS bench marks & Establishment of Ground Control Point Network as per the standard specification including establishment of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Control Points, connecting GCP with nearest SoI benchmark for 'Z' value along the pipeline route for processing of Images. b. Mobilization of Aircraft/Helicopter with required LiDAR and Orthophoto camera equipment. c. Alignment Survey using Aerial Lidar technology for proposed Corridor for AoI width of minimum 400 meters. LiDAR Specification: Min 5 Points per sq m for entire area for Aerial Lidar survey along the proposed corridor high end Aerial LiDAR sensor along with 100 MP camera. Orthophoto Specification: 10 cm GSD. d. Getting clearance from respective authorities such as MoD etc.

Preparation & Providing additional set of documents including but not limited to index map, route map, alignment sheet, cross section, KMZ, etc. in hard (one set) as well as soft (one set), by changing pipeline route alignment within the already surveyed corridor of 100 M strip as per Scope of work & other provisions of Contract Document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work.

Carrying out desktop cadastral survey along the RoW of various roads such as NH/SH/ODR/etc. as per the requirement of various authorities such as forest, water bodies, roads, etc. as per Scope of work & other provisions of Contract Document and as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge by providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, equipment and other support / facilities necessary for the work during the process of obstacle permissions. This items includes but is not limited to collection of all revenue records such as village maps, collection of land ownership details RoR / 7/12, preparing pipeline alignment route map, listing all survey numbers, calculating areas, plotting TPs/ IPs, preparation & submissions of report/documents/drawings all complete The work shall be carried out .
