Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drains and foundation of all other structures, graded and compacted to meet requirement, including setting out, true to the lines, graders, width and side slopes in accordance with drawings, including spreading the embankment material with motor Grader in successive layers of 200mm ( two hundred millimeter) uniform thickness, and compacting with vibratory roller 8-10( eight to ten) Tonne static weight to meet the requirements of table 300.1 & 300.2 as per MORD technical specification section 300,1600 and as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts and other incidentials. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Excavation for roadway in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual/mechanical means, including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rocks, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines, grades, cutting and trimming of side slopes, camber, super elevation and levels as shown in the drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge complete in accordance to M.O.R.D. Technical Specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out and stacking of useful materials with in all leads and lifts of material in accquired road width and transportating of un-useful materials for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or by mechanical means including levelling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stones to the tune of 2758.34 cubic metre quantity at the rate of Rs. 300/ only (Rupees Three Hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractor running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him to the extent of damage occured in all cases. Earth work in excavation in foundation for all types of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets and other similar structures in all kinds of classification of soil including saturated comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiselling/wedging out rocks( where blasting in prohibited ) complete in accordance with the line and dimensions shown in the drawing including setting out construction of shoring , bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of excavated materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( one hundred fifty milimetres) compacted thickness including shoring, strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water ) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 as per the direction and the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain cement concrete nominal mix 1:4:8 (one cement isto four sand isto eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40 mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) on ground or under water in Retaining wall/breast wall and the like etcetera complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering (surface/sub-soil water) including removal of slush which may arise at time of laying concrete for all heights/ depths and any quantum of water including cost of form work and curing complete for 14 ( Fourteen) days and as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 800,900,1200 and 1600 as per the entire satisfation and directions of Engineer-in- Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Back filling with granular material behind abutment Retaining wall/breast wall, wing wall and the like complete as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 1200 and 1600 as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge , including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) including cleaning of road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying with emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg (zero point two seven five kilogram) per square metre on the prepared granular surface treated with primer complete as per M.O.R.D. technical specification section 500 and as per entire satisfation and direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
