REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF FLOORING DADO WALL CEILING PLASTERING INCLUDING OF AREA A B AND C AT NAVAL DOCKYARD VISAKHAPATNAM UNDER GE(I) DM VISAKHAPATNAM

Dismantling floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises and removing debris out side Dockyard all as specified and directed.

M&L for coloured non skid ceramic tiles area of each tiles exceeding 0.06 but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match laid over and including cement screed 15 mm thick in 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for coloured glazed ceramic tiles (300 x 450) x 7-8 mm thick in dado set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match fixed over incl rendering in CM 1:4, 10 mm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for light shade vitrified ceramic tiles 10 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over 15 mm thick 1:6 cement morter including roughning surface of old concrete floor by picking sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust and brushing neat cement slurry with 3 kg of cement per sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for light shade vitrified ceramic tiles 10 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles exceeding 0.42 sqm but not exceeding 1.00 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over 15 mm thick 1:6 cement morter including roughning surface of old concrete floor by picking sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust and brushing neat cement slurry with 3 kg of cement per sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 20mm thick Granite (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window- cills, cooking platforms and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite complete all as specified and directed

M&L for rounding to edges of granite stone slabs one edge such as in steps, cooking plateform or any location etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for chipping (30mm to 75mm) of existing damaged, crakced, spalled & loose portion of concrete of the RCC members completely till the reinforcement is exposed and sound concrete is observed by using mechanical means and manual chisels and further the surface is cleaned with water jet, again clean the surface with blower to remove all loose fine particles present in the surfaces and for removal of dust and loose particles including hoisting assembling and fixing of double layer steel scaffolding complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) Removing rubbish off the premises and disposting at outside ND land no seprate paid. (b) Work shall be carried out at any location or height i.e. Hills etc cost of the work deemed to be included in items.

M&L for preparation of exposed surafaces of rusted steel reinforcement with metal wire brush , cleaning the rusted surfaces free from loose rust and application of rust remover cum passivator painted with brush to the rusted reinforcement , and removing rust with flex after 24 hours of application of rust remover with the help of wire brush, sand paper and thoroughly washed with water with the help of pressure jet and allowing it to dry complete all as specified and directed.( Length of cleaned reinforcement steel bar shall be measured for payment.)
