MAJOR OVERHAULING OF ELGI MAKE COMPRESSORS

Major Overhauling of Reciprocating Air Compressor (THPC 200 ELGI make) of 400KV SF6 Circuit Breaker Installed at 400KV Substation, Bareilly 400 KV Bays with all cost of men, materials, T&P etc. required for satisfactory completion of the Job, as per Technical Specification & direction of the Supervising Engineer as per details below.

Dismantling of Compressor Pipelines, HP & LP Headers, and Piston Rings etc. with the temporary arrangement of pipes etc. to maintain the pressure of concern CBs up to 31.5Kg/cm2 / 20Kg/cm2 during repair /overhauling period (01 Job for each Compressor).

Removing of piston Rings by dismantling of H.P&L.P cylinders then cleaning the carbonizing piston & ring grooves thoroughly. Replacement of Ring grooves along with related works. (01Job for each Compressor) as per details below.

Cleaning of HP & LP Headers after opening the headers, then tapping of valve plates and foot valves, complete replacement of Piston assembly 70mm & 50mm size Elgi make. As per details below. (01Job for each Compressor) as per details below.

Repairing of worn out Crank & Replacing the damaged Bar Pin, Bushes, both side Bearing, Oil Seal etc. with new ones Elgi make. (01 Job for each Compressor).

Replacement of Air Filter Element by new one. Elgi make Part No-A320122 (01Job for each Compressor) as per sample.

Overhauling of Non Return Valve & Safety Valve of the Compressor by replacement of Teflon seal, Nylon washers, Tension Spring, Lock washer etc. by new ones. Elgi make (01Job for each Compressor).

Replacement of all the Gaskets, Packing’s then Reassembly of the same and finally checking of all pipe lines for No Air leakage and ensuring of inter locking of pressure 31.5Kg/cm2 / 20Kg/cm2 each part should be Elgi make. The above materials provided by the contractor won cast (01Job for each Compressor)

Reassembling of Header and filling of Lubricating Oil (Servo Plus 150) up to required level & Checking, Cleaning & repairing of Electrical Wirings, if required functioning of the Compressors (01Job for each Compressor).
