Amount

Construction of penetration macadam over prepared base by providing a layer of compacted crushed coarse aggregate using chips spreader with alternate applications of bituminous binder and key aggregates and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN static roller to achieve the desired degree of compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 506.(A) 50 mm.(fifty milimetres) thick, including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning jof road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 to 1.00 Kg.(zero point seven zero to one point zero zero kilograms)per square metre using mechanical means as per technical specification clause 503, including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distrbutor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg.(zero point two five to zero point three zero kilograms) per square metre on the prepared dry and hungry bitumenous surface cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503, including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 30mm thick bituminous concrete with 60-90(sixty - ninety) TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with VG-10 binder @ 5.5%(fifive point five percent) of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects, including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm(two point five milimetres) thick including reflectorising glass beeds @ 250 gms(at the rate two hundred fifty grams) per sqm(square metre)area,thickness of 2.5 mm.(two point five milimetres) is exclusive of surface applied glass beeds as per IRC :35.The finished surface to be level,uniform and free from streaks and holes including all leads lifts and carriage of materials as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
