Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50m wide and not exceeding 1.50m depth for foundation, for laying of pipes/cables/erection of poles/stays etc.and getting out in soft soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, in soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each layer complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material/soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for fine and dry sand, cushioning for underground cable, by providing a layers of sand 8cm deep before laying and 15cm deep after laying the cable including stretching the cable and punning sand cushioning complete all as specified and as directed. Note--Punned thickness of sand layer shall only be measured and paid to contractor.

Supply and lay bricks, common burnt clay, sub class "B', old size, laid in vertical direction to cable as cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down existing brackets of any size/description/material from the existing poles and refixing the same with minor modifications as required for of LED fittings including nuts, bolts and washers etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down of unserviceable existing PVC cable of size 25sqmm and 2/3/4 core complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing light grade, GI tubing, of size 40mm dia, with all fittings and fixtures for cable protection and fixed with clamps to pole of size 25x6mm and wall with nuts and bolts laid in trenches/road crossing etc.complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing light grade, GI tubing, of size 50mm dia, with all fittings and fixtures for cable protection and fixed with clamps to pole of size 25x6mm and wall with nuts and bolts laid in trenches/road crossing etc.complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying XLPE underground cable, insulated, armoured with overall sheathed, heavy duty, electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, of cross-sectional area 25sqmm x 4 core, laid in trenches/walls/existing or new ducts/passing through existing or new pipes etc.and testing after laying complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (a) Earth work, sand cushioning, bricks protection, RFR and removal of surplus exavated soil will be measured and paid separately. (b) Cost of laying electric cable through new/existing pipe under road, buildings, railway tracks, highways etc. are included in the quoted rate. (c) All equipments, materials, tools and plants for laying cable through new/existing pipe/routes shall be provided by the contractor. (d) Items like aluminium lugs, nuts, bolts and washers are deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Supply and fixing of factory made terminal box made out of fibre material complete with TPN aluminium bus bar including one No. 6 Amps MCB, 240 volts mounted on DIN rail with clamps, terminal box fixed on PCC/steel tubular poles with and including MS clamps made out of 20 x 4mm flat iron including taking down of existing unserviceable terminal/fabricated boxes of any description and size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of MCB, single pole, 6 Amps, 240 volts, in existing street light box including disconnecting and taking down of existing unserviceable MCB of any description and capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of LED street/security light fitting, 45 watt, suitable for working on 230 volts, AC supply, energy saving, environment friendly, long life, made of pressure die cast aluminum housing, with high power LED as lighting source and lens embedded PC cover having TOP opening separate driver compartment toughened heat resistant glass, IP66 protection, and impact resistance of IK07 with 10 KV built in surge protection device , better optics for uniform distribtion with multiplte LEDs not less than 2 W each and having optical grade polycarbonate lens with all accessories, suitable for fixing on 40mm dia street light bracket including disconnecting and taking down existing unserviceable light fitting of any type/size and removal complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of LED street/security light fitting, 90 watt, suitable for working on 230 volts, AC supply, energy saving, environment friendly, long life, made of pressure die cast aluminum housing, with high power LED as lighting source and lens embedded PC cover having TOP opening separate driver compartment toughened heat resistant glass, IP66 protection, and impact resistance of IK07 with 10 KV built in surge protection device , better optics for uniform distribtion with multiplte LEDs not less than 2 W each and having optical grade polycarbonate lens with all accessories, suitable for fixing on 40mm dia street light bracket including disconnecting and taking down existing unserviceable light fitting of any type/size and removal complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing or passing through pipe, 1100 volts grade, heavy duty, PVC insulated, 3 core, 1.5 sqmm, multi stranded copper conductor cable and electric connection to light fitting including disconnecting and taking down of existing old unserviceable cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note: PVC pipe will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ.

Supply and fixing of rigid non-metallic PVC conduit exclusive of boxes (junction/ terminal) but inclusive of all tees, bends, elbows, reducers, bell mouth, tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers, lock nuts, saddles, pipe hooks etc. including MS clamps made out of 25 x 4mm MS flat to secure the PVC pipe with steel tubular pole/ PCC pole at not less than 3 places with nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of automatic street light control with infrared sensor based NATURE SWITCH and VOLTAGE MONITORING SYSTEM (VMS), three phase load of 5 KW for automation of street lights. Nature switch operation should be based on Natural Light Lux level. Required Illumination level for switching ON is ≤ 30 Lux and for switching off >10 Lux. The sensor should also have part right operation facility of minimum 4 hours and maximum 12 hours. VMS should have adjustable over and under voltage trip level and protection against phase loss, neutral loss and phase reverse including power contactors (3 nos of capacity 16 Amps per phase each) and incoming ( 3Nos. of capacity 20 amps each) outgoing MCB (3 Nos of capacity 20 Amps each) and main load circuit wiring (copper) of minimum 10 sqmm. The sensor, VSM, power cotactor , MCBs including connected items should be enclosed in a Pole/Wall mountable enclosure made of rust proof, electric shockproof, termiteproof, and FR grade SMC junction box conforming to IP 54. The circuit should also have manual operation (i.e. Sensor and VMS By-pass option) Model-Swadeep-02EC5kW3P-VMS or equivalent in Schneider/Havells/Legrand complete all as specified and directed. ≤

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate 600 x 600 x 6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below ground level connected to and including GI earth strip of size 25mm x 4 mm as earth lead connected with equipment by means of nuts, bolts, washers etc protected by GI pipe 40mm bore (medium grade) and connected to earthing test point and earth dolly as directed and as specified and all shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I 2009 including excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 in chamber, pre cast RCC slab 400 x 400 x 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1, reinforced with with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 15cm C/C both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia bar with cast iron frame, funnel, with wire mesh, 20mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers of 15cm depth, lugs, test point etc and earth testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for LT, 1100 volts grade cable for straight through heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3.5/4 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 25 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cutting of existing metal road/PCC foot path/PCC hardstanding etc including earth work for laying underground cable and making good to disturbed surfaces as per existing specification complete all as specified and directed.

Relaying of serviceable cable 2/3/4 core, any size/type, retrieved under item No. 7 hereinbefore and testing on laying complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- Amount of credit of Rs. 56,425.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit Page No. 43 of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
