Rates once quoted shall be firm and final, no revision of rates shall be permitted.

Detailed Scope of Work:

S.No Detailed Description of Work

Dismantling Work

a. Dismantling of Old kitchen cabinet including wooden shutters, granite slab,

sandstone slabs. The vendor has to stack the material and dispose of unserviceable

at place (inside the premises) designated by Engineering Incharge.

b. Dismantling of old Kota TOP flooring tiles. The vendor has to stack the material and

dispose of unserviceable at place (inside the premises) designated by Engineering

c. Dismantling of window including frame and stacking at place designated by

Engineering Incharge

1. Supply and fixing of Kota Stone

Supplying and laying 25mm thick Kota stone slab flooring over and including 20mm thick

base of 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand ) laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed

with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing to granolithic

finish complete.

2 Supply and fixing of SandStone Stab

Supplying and laying 25 – 30 mm thick Sandstone slab flooring over and including 20mm

thick base of 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand ) laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry.

2 Supply and fixing of Wooden Shutter

Shutters of the cabinets below counter shall be made out of 16 mm thick ISI branded 'Marine

plywood' of BWP grade conforming to IS 710. Each shutter shall be fixed to the frame work

using two number of best quality EURO type Slip-in Hinges and provided with approved

quality and profile brush finished SS handle (minimum 100mm long) of approved make.

Frame work is in vendor scope. Cost of frame work has to be considered by bidder in this

line item only. No additional work order will be issued for frame work cost. All exposed

surfaces of the plywood used in the work shall be laminated on both sides with 0.80 mm

thick laminate of approved make and shade (by factory pressing using laminates of approved

make and shade and approved quality and make synthetic resin based adhesives.

3 Supply and Fixing of tiles (Wall Dadoing)

Providing and fixing glazed screen ceramic printed tiles conforming to IS 15622 of minimum

thickness 8mm of approved desigh; colour, size and shade in dados on 12mm thick cement

plaster 1:3( 1 cement :3 coarse sand ) jointed with white cement slurry mixed with matching

pigment including cleaning finished surface with Oxalic acid, wax polishing,etc . complete.

4 Supply and fixing of tiles (for Cabinet)

"Supplying and laying vitrified ceramic tiles with water absorption less than 0.08% and

conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make, colour and design at all levels and locations

using approved first quality tiles inflooring with or without spacers, laid over abedding of

cement mortar bed of mix 1:4 to achieve overall flooring thickness as 50mm and a backcoat

of white cement slurry and joints filled with white cement mixed with matching pigment

complete with all bye works like covering with plaster of paris, curing etc. at all leads and

lifts and as perspecification / instructions of the Engineer Incharge."

5 Brick Masonry Work

BRICK MASONRY ABOVE PLINTH

Supplying and laying Brick work in superstructure aboveplinth level including supplying and

laying good quality bricks conforming to BIS std., satisfying efflorescene, water absorbtion

and dimension test as per IS code) in superstructure using Cement Mortar 1:5(1part cement

: 5 part coarse sand) including raking out joints, curing, soaking of bricks, providing recesses,

openings ,staging, curing, raking out joints etc. complete as directed

6 Cement Plaster work 12 mm

Providing cement plaster finished including cleaning, hacking of base surfaces, curing,

finishing etc. all complete for all heights as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-

charge including grooves, bands, drip moulder where ever required as specified.

7 Supply and fixing of Granite

Supply and fixing of jet black Granite top of minimum 17 mm thickness for the work surface

(not more than two pieces of the “L” shape counter). The granite shall have 60 cms

clear width and the back edge should be inserted into 25mm deep groove in the

wall. The front edge of the granite countertop shall be bull nosed and polished. Necessary

puncture shall be made in the slab for accommodating hole for LPG hose.

8 Painting of Room

Preparing surface and painting 2 coats of Plastic Emulsion Paint of approved make, shade

and quality in all heights of walls, ceiling, sun sheds fins etc. incl. providing scaffolding, pitting

in plaster to be made good, cleaning with coir brush & sand paper, curing and supply of all

materials and labour complete. The finished surface shall be even and uniform. The

application of paint shall conform to Manufacturer's recommendation and as per the

directions of Enginner-in-Charge.

9 Application of Putty (wherever required)

Preparing surface and pasting of putty for uniform finish of approved make incl. providing

scaffolding and supply of all materials and labour complete.

Supply and Installation of Material

1 Supply of Stainless Steel 4 Glass Door Almirah

The almirah dimensions range is as following

Height – 190-200 cm

Width – 85 -120 cm

Depth – 45 – 60 cm

The sheet gauge shall be min 22 gauge. The almirah shall have Min 4 compartments.

The scope of the tender is not limited to the work described above. The quantities are tentative and

may vary at site. Hence, Vendor must take into consideratio n all the work at site during site visit

SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. These special terms and conditions is also a part of General Conditions of the Tender.

2. The rates quoted by the tenderer should be inclusive of all taxes, levies, fees etc. BPCL will

not pay any amount towards other taxes, levies, fees and the successful tenderer will have to

adhere to all Govt. rules & regulations etc.

3. The Contractor and his workmen should follow rules and regulations of our Plant.

4. The contractor should follow the safety norms, as applicable in the plant and as directed by

the Corporation from time to time.

5. The contractor has to ensure overall safety of all the workmen employed by him/her and

should provide safety shoes and helmet etc. The contractor shall also ensure that the safety

shoe, helmet, uniforms is regularly worn by all his workmen. Officer may instruct for stoppage

of work if the safety norms are not complied with.

6. The contractor has to ensure one supervisor’s presence during the job and will be responsible

to ensure safety of the labours working under him.

7. The Contractor will be required to collect all waste / scrap materials generated during the

work in the plant and deposit it at designated places on daily basis & disposed off the same at

designated place on regular basis as per advice of Engineering incharge.

8. You would be required to engage adequate number of manpower so as to carry out all the

work satisfactorily. The persons employed should be of suitable age for brisk working and

should have knowledge about the work, inside the plant. No person above the age of 60 years

or below 18 years shall be employed by you in the plant.

9. The Contractor shall provide all tools, tackles, and consumables etc. that are required to

complete the subject job. In no case, fire water is to be used for cleaning purpose.

10. Tenderer is supposed to visit the site before quoting for the job for acquaints him with the job

Schedule and available facilities at the location. If the Vendor does not visit the site, then it is

presumed that vendor has visited the site and understood all the items of the job thoroughly.

11. Successful tenderer shall also be responsible for and pay the expenses for providing medical

treatment to any of their employees who may suffer bodily injury as a result of any accident.

12. All the taxies, duties, if any or any other extra cost will be borne by the successful tenderer.

13. The payment will be made to the party on basis of actual measurement, wherever applicable.

14. The total landed lowest cost will be considered and any dispute on this term will not be

15. The quantities indicated are approximate and may vary at the time of execution. The

corporation will exercise absolute discretion for operating all or some items of the schedule.

16. Contractor has to remove all the debris from the site of execution and dispose them at suitable

places shown by the Engineer or his authorized representative at site.

17. The contractor shall have to deploy all plant & machineries require to carry out the work

without any additional cost to BPCL.

18. Custody of Materials/Machineries/tools and other spares to be used for the jobs (as per

tender scope of works) will be in the scope of the vendor. BPCL is not liable for any damage

or loss till completion of works.

19. Time being essence of contract and work to be executed in operating location. The job should

be completed within 5 weeks from the date of LOI. Liquidity damages for delayed work period

will be charged as 0.5 % of contract amount per week of delay of work completion in all

aspects including clearing of site.

20. The vendor shall after paying the requisite security deposit, commence work within 15 days

from the date of receipt of the intimation of intent from the BPCL informing that the contract

is being awarded. The date of intimation shall be the date/day for counting the starting

day/date and the ending day/date will be accordingly calculated. Penalty, if any, for the delay

in execution shall be calculated accordingly.

21. A Letter of Intent is an acceptance of offer by the BPCL and it need not be accepted by the

vendor. But the vendor should acknowledge a receipt of the purchase order within 15 days of

mailing of Purchase Order and any delay in acknowledging the receipt will be a breach of

contract and compensation for the loss caused by such breach will be recovered by the BPCL

by forfeiting earnest money deposit/bid bond.

22. Subject to the provisions of this contract, the vendor shall if ordered in writing by the

Engineer- in-Charge/Site-in-Charge for reasons recorded suspend the works or any part

thereof for such period and such time so ordered and shall not, after receiving such, proceed

with the work therein ordered to suspended until he shall have received a written order to re-

start. The Vendor shall be entitled to claim extension of time for that period of time the work

was ordered to be suspended. Neither the BPCL nor the Vendor shall be entitled to claim

compensation or damages on account of such an extension of time.

In case of suspension of entire work, ordered in writing by Engineer-in-Charge/Site-in-Charge,

for a period of 60 days, the BPCL shall have the option to terminate the Contract as provided

under the clause for termination.

The Vendor shall not be at liberty to remove from the site of the works any plant or materials

belonging to him and the Employer shall have lien upon all such plant and materials.

The contract shall, in case of suspension have the right to raise a dispute and have the same

arbitrated but however, shall not have the right to have the work stopped from further

progress and completion either by the BPCL or through other vendor appointed by the BPCL.

23. The Engineer-in-Charge/Site-in-Charge and Officers from Central or State Government will

have full power and authority to inspect the works at any time wherever in progress, on the

site. The Vendor shall, at all times during the usual working hours and at all other times at

which reasonable notice of the intention of the Engineer-in-Charge/Site-in-Charge or his

representative to visit the works shall have been given to the Vendor, either himself be

present to receive orders and instructions, or have a responsible agent, duly accredited in

writing, present for the purpose. Orders given to the Vendor's agent shall be considered to

have the same force as if they had been given to the Vendor himself. In the event of breach

of above, the same shall be uncovered at Vendor's expense for carrying out such

measurement and/or inspection.

24. No material shall be removed and dispatched by the Vendor from the site without the prior

approval in writing of the Engineer-in-charge. The vendor is to provide at all times during the

progress of the work and the maintenance period proper means of access with ladders,

gangways, etc. and the necessary attendance to move and adapt as directed for inspection or

measurements of the works by the Engineer-in-Charge/Site-in-Charge.

25. Vendor shall be responsible for making good to the satisfaction of the BPCL any loss of and

any damage to all structures and properties belonging to the BPCL or being executed or

procured by the BPCL or of other agencies within the premises of the work of the BPCL, if such

loss or damage is due to fault and/or the negligence or willful acts or omission of the Vendor,

his employees, agents, representatives or sub vendors.

26. The Vendors shall indemnify and keep the BPCL harmless of all claims for damage to BPCL's

property arising under or by reason of this contract.

27. If it shall appear to the Engineer-in-Charge/Site-in-Charge that any work has been executed

with bad, imperfect or unskilled workmanship, or with materials, or that any materials or

articles provided by the Vendor for execution of the work are not of standards

specified/inferior quality to that contracted for, or otherwise not in accordance with the

contract, the VENDOR shall on demand in writing from the Engineer-in-Charge/Site in-Charge

or his authorised representative specifying the work, materials or articles complained of,

notwithstanding that the same may have been inadvertently passed, certified and paid for,

forthwith rectify or remove and reconstruct the work so specified and at his own charge and

cost and expenses and in the event of failure to do so within a period of 15 days of such

intimation/information/knowledge, the Vendor shall be liable to pay compensation

equivalent to the cost of reconstruction by the BPCL. On expiry of 15 days period mentioned

above, the BPCL may by themselves or otherwise rectify or remove and re-execute the work

or remove and replace with others, the materials or articles complained of as the case may be

at the risk and expenses in all respects of the Vendor. The decision of the Engineer-in- Charge/

Site-in- Charge as to any question arising under this clause shall be final and conclusive and

shall not be raised as a dispute or shall be arbitrable.

28. The Vendor shall at his own expenses arrange for the Safety provisions as may be necessary

for the execution of the work or as required by the Engineer-in-Charge in respect of all labours

directly or indirectly employed for performance of the works and shall provide all facilities in

connections therewith. In case the vendor fails to make arrangements and provide necessary

facilities as aforesaid, the BPCL shall be entitled to do so and recover the cost thereof from

29. From the commencement to the completion of the works, the vendor shall take full

responsibility for the care thereof and of all the temporary works (defined as meaning all

temporary works of every kind required in or for the execution, completion or maintenance

of the works). In case damage, loss or injury shall happen to the works or to any part thereof

or to temporary works or to any cause whatsoever repair at his (Vendor's) own cost and make

good the same so that at the time of completion, the works shall be in good order and

condition and in conformity in every respect with the requirement of the contract and

Engineer-in-Charge's instructions.

30. While carrying out the job of fixing of toughen glasses of any area, the vendor has to complete

the job within the time frame of 2 days from the date of removal of old glasses from that area.

And during these two days, if required by BPCL, vendor has to provide partition or temporary

arrangement to avoid entrance of insects, dust, water in the offices.

31. In respect of all labour, directly or indirectly employed in the work for the performance of the

Vendor's part of this agreement, the vendor shall at his own expense arrange for all the safety

provisions as per relevant Safety Codes of C.P.W.D Bureau of Indian Standards, the Electricity

Act/I.E. Rules. The Mines Act and such other Acts as applicable.

32. The Vendor will be fully responsible for complying with all relevant provisions of the Contract

Labour Act and shall pay rates of Wages and observe hours of work/conditions of employment

according to the rules in force from time to time.

33. The Vendor will be fully responsible for complying with the provision including documentation

and submission of reports on the above to the concerned authorities and shall indemnify the

Corporation from any such lapse for which the Government will be taking action against them.

BPCL shall on a report having been made by an inspecting Office as defined in the Contract Labour

Regulations have the power to deduct from the money due to the Vendor any sum required or

estimated to be required for making good the loss suffered by a worker(s) by reasons of non-

fulfillment of conditions of contract for the benefit of workers no-payment of wages or of deductions

made from his or their wages which are not justified by the terms of contract or non-observance of

the said vendor's labour Regulation
