General Notes Applicable to all BOQ Items
1) The make/model/brand for all the BOQ items shall be as per suggestive makes of Annexure-B of Section-VII of the tender document. The make/model/brand mentioned in Annexure-B of Section-VII of the tender document is merely for guidance and bidders can prefer any other make which is meeting technical specifications given under Section-V and Schedule of Quantities of Tender document and shall confirm to the relevant BIS codes and other relevant codes. However, the bidder may suggest any equivelent make/ model/brand meeting technical parameters on or before pre-bid conference for approval of BARC(V). 2) Only sieved river sand/crushed stone sand confirming to Zone-II from Godavari river or Varaha river or Vamsadhara river or Sarada river or Nagavali river / Crushed stone sand shall be used as fine aggregate and Graded hard broken granite metal of 3 stage (VSI) material shall be used as coarse aggregate in relevant items. Specification for fine and coarse aggregate shall confirm to IS:383 (latest revision) 3) In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements in design mix concrete, concrete admixtures (Carboxylate based superplasticizers) can be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for concrete items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, Design mix, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. 4) The contractor shall set up sufficient number of self loading mobile concrete mixers inside the project area for the production of concrete.
9) For all standards and code of practices, specifications, like Indian Standard, MORT&H, ASTM, etc. refer only latest revisions including all applicable amendments, revisions and additional publications (during contract period) and these have to be followed. 10)Prior approval for source of all construction materials by submission of relavent test certificates, documents, invoices etc. have to be taken from BARC. 11) All the tests mentioned in Quality Assurance Plan(QAP) should be carried out without any extra cost. 12) The contractor has to submit all royalty /seigneiorage slips,etc for all the naturally available construction materials before submitting the RA bills.
EARTHWORK EXCAVATION & FILLING WORKS
Notes applicable to EARTHWORK EXCAVATION & FILLING WORKS : The rate quoted for earthwork excavation is deemed to have included the following: a) removal of all kinds of vegetation, small shrubs, light/heavy jungle etc., trees upto girth of 30 cm when measured 1 metre above ground level alongwith roots, including disposal/stack in the identified location. b) shoring, strutting, stepping, dressing, grading required for keeping the earth in position on sides of trenches with approved timber/steel accessories wherever necessary to prevent sides from falling including bailing or pumping out of water if necessary including removal of debris/unserviceable materials and excavated excess soil, if any. c) dewatering of both ground and surface water, including removal of slurry generated while excavation and keeping the area free from water, to be let out of the building area through proper pipes & channels if required by suitable pumps, d) watering, ramming and thoroughly consolidate the bottom of all excavations & ground before the construction of foundation/footing/plinth beam, filling in basement or other work is commenced.
e) the loose pockets shall be excavated and compacted after back filling as directed by Engineer-in-charge, as per detailed specification and conforming to safety rules during progress of the work. f) Contour levels to be taken jointly with the Engineer-in-charge and prior written approval be taken before starting any excavation/ filling at every 3 m grids for arriving at the actual quantity, g) Backfilling will be done in layers of thickness as specified below. h) Cost inclusive of necessary royalties, seigneiorage charges and other charges to supply all the required construction materials, i) cost of items shall include all labour charges, hire charges of machinery, lubricants, fuels and tests etc. j) Measurement/Payment will be reststicted to PCC/drawing dimensions only.
Filling of areas in and around builldings wherever specified with approved quality murrum/gravel brought from within the campus with all type of soils including boulders including exacavtion at source with hydraulic excavator at all levels, filling with same excavated soil including loading,Transporting,unloading to embankment site with following lead, spreading in layers of 250mm each and compacting each layer with 3 tonne power capacity vibratory power roller to achive 90% proctor density,making suitable temporary approach road for the movement of excavator,tipper,dumper and other equipments,dewatering if required all as per drawings,specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge.

PCC & RCC WORKS
Note: 1) Rates quoted for PCC & RCC items shall include cost of sieved river sand/ crushed stone sand as fine aggregate and graded hard broken granite metal of 3 stage (VSI) material as a coarse aggregate. 2) The mix shall be desiged to maintain the desired slump (as required at site/specified in IS code). In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements in design mix concrete, admixtures can be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for the items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. 3) The contractor shall set up fully automatic batching plant/sufficient number of Self loading mobile concrete mixers inside the project area for the manufacture of concrete. 4) Contractor may also be allowed to procure concrete from prior approved RMC plants on prior approval of the BARC subject to maintain required slump at site during pouring.To that extent suitable Mix Design should be carried out with required retention period. No, extra payment will be made if concrete is brought from RMC plants outside the project area. 5) The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixtures. 6) Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company has to be submitted for all concrete works by the contractor. 7) Rate quoted for RCC items shall include cost of relevant design mix and testings.
8) This item is applicable for all PCC and RCC structural elements like footings, beams, columns, slabs, lintels, chajjas, walls etc., for all heights and leads. 9) Only steel scaffolding, staging, supporting system to the formwork and steel frame work will have to be used for all RCC structural elements. 10) All surfaces adjacent to EPs, etc., shall be in true line and level & irregularities, if any, shall be rounded by mechanical grinding, chiseling, finishing the same using epoxy silica sand mortar at no extra payment. 11) Form finish F3 shall be provided to all exposed surfaces of the concrete.
Providing and laying in plain cement concrete of 1:3:6 (1 cement, 3 river Coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand, 6 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 mm) at all elevations including consolidation, finishing curing etc. complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding the cost of form work shuttering, centering all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying design mix Reinforced cement concrete of M30 Grade by weigh batching using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size and coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved Brand and quality, including handling & transportation, scaffolding, mechanical mixing, placing to required location by hoisting and / or pumping & mechanical vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing, hacking of concrete surfaces wherever required etc. complete at all levels in substructure/superstructure as per specifications & also including dewatering, if any, complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding formwork, shuttering and steel reinforcement. Note: Temparature raised due to heat of hydration shall be kept within limits in raft/mass concrete by keeping proper curing mechanism.

Providing and placing in position Reinforced cement concrete of M30 grade by weigh batching as precast R.C.C. slabs and hatch covers using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size and Coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved quality, handling & transportation, mechanical mixing & vibration, finishing, curing etc.complete as per specifications including formwork, scaffolding providing working platform for precast units, platform comprising levelling of ground, soling, and P.C.C. etc. all complete as directed and as per specifications including handling & transporting precast units from yard to appropriate place and fixing in position including labour, mechanical grinding (if required), making good the surface & other incidentals but excluding reinforcement, lifting hooks & structural steel Sections, complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: All projections, fins etc. in the concrete surface formed at the joints in formwork should be ground & flush and finished at no extra cost.

Pre-Engineered Building
Notes applicable for this section : Rate quoted for each item shall include the following.. 1) Scope of the analysis and design for the super structure including Mezzanine floors, staircases, roofing, etc is included in the bidder's scope and shall be as per relevant latest revisions of Indian Standard (IS) codes and shall include the following procedure for obtaining approval from BARC(V) but not limited to: a) Submission of Design Basis Report (DBR) including all input details (ie. material properties & loading parameters, etc), Design methodology etc. as specified by BARC. b) Submission of GA drawings along with design calculations for approval of BARC. c) Submission of GA drawings approved & signed by BARC in 06 (Six) copies to BARC. d) Submission of shop drawings in 06 (Six) copies to BARC for approval. e) Submission of approved erection methodology & drawings in 02 (Two) copies to BARC. 2)All the analysis, design documents and drawings shall be submitted and shall be approved by BARC prior to procurement of materials and start of fabrication. 3) All structural members shall be designed in accordance with IS 800 and as per drawings approved by BARC(V). 4) Properties of all primary structural members and their connecting plates shall conform to IS 2062 Grade E350 Quality BR with minimum yield strength of 345MPa. 5) Properties of all secondary structural members and their connecting plates shall conform to IS 811 with minimum yield strength of 345MPa. 6) Properties of all rod/angle bracing members and any miscellaneous parts shall conform with IS 2062 Grade E250 Quality A with minimum yield strength of 250MPa. 7) Primary bolted connections shall be with high strength bolts conforming to IS 1367 (Part III) Grade 4.6 and 8.8.
8) Secondary bolted connections shall be of machine bolts conforming to IS 1367(Part III) Grade 4.6 and 8.8. 9) Sheeting shall conform to the requirements of IS:513 and hot dip metallic for Al/ Zn alloy coated (Galvalume) sheets with minimum yield strength of 550Mpa. 10) Anchor Bolts shall confirm to the requirements of IS 5624 & IS 1367 (Part-14/sec 1) Grade 4.6 and 8.8 11) Gutter and flashings (size as per approved design & drawing) shall be made of 0.5 mm thick Galvalume steel sheet with pre painted finish to match with colour of roofing sheet. 12) All bolts and nuts shall be Hot Dip Galvanised. 13)Supply and Fixing of bolts including templates is under the scope of bidder only. 14)Total Station shall be used for alignment and fixing of template and bolts. 15)Grouting with non shrink compound is in the scope of bidder for which no separate payment will be made. 16) The rate quoted shall include the cost towards supply and providing of gutters. 17) Roof area will be measured as per actual area in slope. 18) Openings for Louvers, Windows, Glazing etc., will be deduted from sheeting area. 19) The scope of the bidder for all the BOQ Items under Pre Engineered Building & Sheeting shall include but not limited to Design, Supply, fabrication, testing, transporting, handling, erection (at all levels) Pre-Engineered roof as per approved drawings, technical specifications complete and as per directions of EIC. 20) The roofing system is to be Guaranteed for a period of 10 years against water profing. 21) Movement of the crane for erection of the roof members will not be allowed from inside of the building. Peripheral movement of the crane from outside of the building only will be allowed for erection of the roof members. Bidders are advised to deploy suitable crane and quote accordingly.
Primary structural members (transverse rigid frames, lean-to rafters, canopy rafters, bearing frame rafters, columns if any) as fabricated tapered/Plane sections from plates (with minimum yield strength of 345MPa) shall have flanges and webs joined on both sides of web by continuous SAW welding process as specified in the drawings approved by BARC(V) including cost of all base plates,end plates and required no. of bolts for rigid connections. Secondary structural members such as bracing rods, angular members etc. with minimum yield strength of 250MPa fabricated from hot rolled structural shapes as specified in the drawings approved by BARC(V) including cost of required no. of bolts for connections. Note: The rate quoted for this item shall also include grit blasting application of one (01) Coat Dry Film Thickness (DFT) 60 microns of inorganic Zinc Silicate primer followed by one (01) suitable intermediate epoxy based tie coat (DFT 100 microns) and two (02) coats (each of 50 microns DFT) of high built polyamide cured epoxy paint to make a total thickness of 260 microns.
Galvanised secondary structural members (purlins/girts/eave struts with minimum yield strength of 345MPa.) fabricated from cold forming process as specified in the drawings approved by BARC(V) including cost of all base plates,end plates, clamps/clips and required no. of bolts for connections complete.
Double skin Roof Sheeting: Providing, supplying , fabricating, testing, transporting, handling and erecting at required positions and levels metal roofing above the existing trusses, including flashings,trims, sub purlin (sub girt) and insulation, and including all consumables and taxes, double skin Insulated roofing comprising of the following : a) Bottom sheet: Trapezoidal pre-painted galvalume sheets of thickness 0.50mm TCT conforming to ASTM A792 and colour coated of AZ 150 (coated with aluminium zinc alloy, total of 150 GSM) on both sides and 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns on both sides and with minimum yield strength of 550 Mpa. including fixing with fasteners, sub girts to the existing purlins along with required overlaps. b) Vapour control layer barrier & rock wool insulation of 100mm thick consisting of 2 layers of 50 mm thick with a minimum density of 48 kg/m3 and aluminium foil over the insulation. c) Top sheet: Standing seam profile of Prepainted Galvalume sheet of thickness of 0.50 mm thick TCT coforming to ASTM A792, of approved colour fixed with supporting clips/hatters (external Roof load shall be transmitted directly to the purlins) and 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns on both sides of the sheet with minimum yield strength of 350 Mpa. The cover width of the galvalume sheet shall be 600mm, lapping portion to be seamed with double locking system with 360 degrees seaming and there shall be no chance of opening up and leakage. d) Providing eaves gutters made of galvalume sheets at end portions and fixed with 'C' shape Purlin/member. e) Providing ridge covering and necessary flashing etc.
0.5mm thick Galvalume sheet for side wall : Providing and fixing precoated Galvalume profile sheets of approved size, shape and pitch of corrugation as 5% total coated thickness (TCT), zinc coating 120 gsm as per IS:277 in (approved by Engineer-in-Charge) 0.05 mm. 240 MPa mm steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches while transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-Charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling / self tapping screws of size (5.5 X 55 mm) with EPDM seal or with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm diameter with bitumen and G.I. limpet washers filled with white lead. The cost shall also include providing and fixing 3mm thick poly carbonate sheets of desired close fitting profile up to 150 Sqm as shown in the approved drawing complete upto any pitch in horizontal / vertical or curved surfaces excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including flashings,aprons, cutting to size and shape wherever required complete.
Single skin roofing system comprising of 0.50 mm thick: Supplying, fabricating, testing, transporting, handling and erecting at required positions for canopies, chajjas etc at all levels prepainted Galvalume Roofing profile sheet of 0.50 mm Thickness in Single sheet of approved size, shape and pitch up to and including single length of 12.00met. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling/ self tapping screws ofsize (5.5X55mm) with EPDM seal or with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8mm diameter with bitumen and G.I.limpet washers filled with white lead complete up to any pitch in horizontal/vertical or curved surfaces excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
Anchor bolts with minimum yield strength of grade 4.6 and required length as per approved drawings and the same shall be embedded in to existing columns including cost of non shrink GP2 grouting along with nuts, washer etc. as per drawing and all consumable.
Reinforcement Steel
Notes: 1) 1.2mm dia annealed GI coated (20 micron to 40 micron) binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment. 2) Fe-500D / Fe-500EQR bars as per IS to be supplied by the contractor. 3) Reinforcement bars from conversion agents / re-rollers of above manufacturers, will not be accepted. 4) No extra payment will be made on account of Rolling Margin & wastage. 5) Contractor shall supply copy of the documentry evidence of purchase of steel, test certificate from these manufacturers and also test from third party to be carried out at no extra cost.
Providing Reinforcement steel of all diameters for reinforced cement concrete at all levels. including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting to all elevations, placing and keeping in positions, all leads, fixing, tieing with 1.2 mm dia annealed GI coated (20 micron to 40 micron) binding wire including all labour charges, cost of cover blocks (in same grade of concrete) of various thicknesses and sizes etc. all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Using TMT Bars of Specified Grades of all sizes. TMT bars to be supplied by the contractor of grade - Fe 500D / Fe-500EQR.
Providing Structural steel work using angles, channels, joists and other sections, welded and / or bolted including in built up sections for columns, beams, trusses, structural steel floors, frame works, monorails, grating, window grills and other structures including supplying, cutting, drilling, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position, applying a priming coat of zinc chromate steel primer. complete all as per drawings and Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge Note: 1) Structural steel required for the work shall not be supplied by the Department. 2) Structural steel confirming to IS 2062 shall be supplied from their own plants rolled from virgin materials to be procured directly or from their authorised dealers and test cerificate to be produced. 3) The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate from approved manufacturers and also third party testing from approved laboratories with out any extra cost. 4) Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rates. 5) Welding Electrodes of specified suitable grade only shall be used. 6) Holes to be drilled only by Drilling machines and gas cutting of holes are not permitted.

Supply, fabrication, and fixing in position the MS embedded parts in RCC / Masonry/ Form work at all heights. Cost includung transporting, aligning, fixing in position, etc. complete all as per drawings and Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. All necessary test reports are to be provided along with the supply of the materials.
Providing, supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting and fixing in position structural steel members for railing, pergolas, gates etc. using MS hollow circular / square / rectangular sections along with the associated connections including grit blasting and applying a coat of primer using redoxide before and after erection and two coats of first quality anticorrosive polyurethene paint all as per Technical specifications, drawings, complete all as per drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing Structural steel work in M.S. plain plates and chequered plates in trench covers, connection plates and other areas as required. Cost including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position, including grit blasting and applying a priming coat of approved zinc chromate steel primer, welding, all labour charges etc., Structural steel plates to be used as per drawings and Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. All necessary test reports of the supplied material are to be submitted by the contractor.
Providing and fixing galvanised steel metal deck floor with ribbed profile of approved design, roofing thickness and of 345MPa grade single profile sheets of approved size, shape and pitch of corrugation and having a minimum zinc coating as per IS 277 as approved by Engineering In Charge. The sheet should be supplied in single length upto 12 meter or as directed by Engineer In Charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling/ self tapping screws of size (5.5 x 55mm) with EPDM seal complete upto any pitch in horizontal/vertical or curved surfaces including cutting to size and shape whenever required. The item shall also include cost of "L" shaped GI sides for concrete formwork. The cost of supporting system consisting of purlins, rafters and trusses will be paid under the relevant item.
MASONRY WORKS
Providing and constructing 100/150/200/230mm (or as directed) thick masonry at all elevations with approved quality Fly ash/ FAL-G bricks (confirming to IS 12894) having minimum crushing strength 60 Kgs/Sq.cm and water absorption of maximum 20%, in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 river sand/ crushed stone sand) uniformly mixed in machine with approved 'non-shrinking compound' as per manufacturer’s instruction in specified courses of approved bond also providing horizonatal RCC band of 100/150/200mm x 100 mm (or as directed) at about 1.00 m c/c with 2 nos. 8 mm dia Tor bars and 6 mm dia links at 300 mm c/c in cement concrete (1:2:4), required formwork, complete including pointing, raking out joints, curing, cleaning, including independent double legged scaffolding, at all heights, depths and leads, dewatering area where required etc., all as per typical drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note for flyash bricks: In the fly ash bricks the mix confirming to the strength mentioned in the respective items shall be got approved by the department. The mix shall consist of ordinary portland cement content of required % of the mixture consisting of Fly ash, OPC and Gypsum or any variation in proportion of design mix to obtain specified mix shall be submitted to BARC for approval. The Anhydraous Gypsum, Fly Ash, Cement, Crusher dust and other materials shall confirm to the the relevant IS codes. The Anhydrous Gypsum shall be procured from a reputed source in Cuddlore in Tamilnadu approved by the department, from TANFAC industries, Cuddlore, Tamilnadu. Roller mixer shall be used for good homogeneous mixing. Note : a) Reinforcement will be measured & paid for separately under relevant item. b) RCC band and formwork shall not be measured seperatly, however no deductions will be made in brickwork for the same. c) No holes in brickwall will be allowed for scaffolding. Only double tubular steel scaffolding be allowed.

PLASTERING WORKS
Providing 15 mm thick Plain Internal Plastering in cement mortar 1:4 (using river sand) finished smooth, including sieving of sand to required fineness, preparation of the surface, double steel tubular scaffolding, curing, formation of grooves at dissimilar material junctions (beams and columns) all as per specifications, drawings and as directed at site etc. complete all as per Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing 20 mm thick External plastering in two coats under layer 12 mm thick with cement mortar 1:4 (using river sand) finished with a top layer 8 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 (using river sand) admixtured with Water proofing admixture @ 2% by weight of cement used (in both layers) and as per manufacturer's specifications, sieving of sand to required fineness, double tubular steel scaffolding, finishing, curing, formation of grooves at dissimilar material junctions (beams and columns) etc. complete all as per Technical specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
JOINERY & METAL WORK
Providing and fixing fully flush type Hollow metal Steel door including frame and shutter at all levels. 46 mm thick Pressed Galvanized steel conforming to IS 277, Single / Double / Triple leaved which consists of frame, shutter, infill and finish as detailed below : Door frame shall be single rebate profile of size 100 x 57 mm with bending radius of 1.2 mm having 1.20 mm thick galvanized steel sheet (18 gauge). Steel door shutter of 46 mm thick, fully flush, double skin door shall be manufactured from 0.80 mm thick galvanized steel sheet of minimum 1hr fire rating. The stile edges to be lock seamed with no weld marks. The infill material shall be resin bonded honey comb Kraft paper with thermal insulation. Door frames and shutter shall be finished with etched primer coating, stoved zinc phosphate primer (35 microns DFT) and thermosetting polyurethane aliphtic grade paint (35 micron DFT) of approved colour. Rate shall include for supply and fix 3 mm thick base plates, all joints of frames with provision for anchor bolt fixing to wall / RCC surface, reinforcement pad for fixing of door closers, factory finish, provision for slots for mortise locks, for pre-punched cut outs to receive hardwares and iron mongery, 3 mm thick hinge plates predrilled to receive hinges for screw mounted fixing all as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes : Rate shall also include for grouting the frame with cement at the joints between wall & frame to the required thickness as per manufacture’s specifications. (Wherever steel louvers are provided on the door, the corresponding area of steel louvers area will be deducted from the measurement of hollow metal steel door area. The aluminium louvers shall be paid under seperate item in the schedule.) Providing and fixing Pre painted Steel sliding Window with MS grill fabricated from roll formed sections made of Galvanized steel colour coated /powder coated (Base Steel as per IS 513 ‘D’ quality galvanized as per IS 277 with Zinc of 120 Gms./ Sq.mtr) with total coated thickness of 0.58mm. Primer Coat with epoxy primer of 5-7 microns thick, finished paint with a polyester paint of 12-16 microns thick and back coated with Alkyd backer of 5-7 microns or powder coated with pure polyester powder up to 50-60 microns thick. The External Section for two track Sliding Window should be of 44 x 59mm with a provision for bottom track insert profile of 10x9 mm made of aluminium. Section for Window glass shutter should be of 35x49mm , Section for Window Euro groove should be of 25x24mm made of plastic to accommodate standard accessories, and section for window lap strip should be of 21x4mm made of plastic. Section for Door shutter should be of 35x67mm, Section for Door Euro Groove 25x31mm made of plastic to accommodate standard accessories and size of lap strip should be of 39x41mm. The Window/Door to be panelled with 5mm thick plain float glass. The gaskets are to be made of Ethyl Propylene Diamine Manomer [EPDM]. Corner Brackets for internal and external frame to be made of glass filled nylon. Touch lock to be provided for Window Shutter. Sections are to be cut to length, joined and assembled by means of corner brackets. The above frame to be fixed to Brick/Concrete masonry by using Nylon selfexpanding caps and driving MS electroplated 80mm screws into the caps through frames. The Grill for safety for windows to be made of 10mm thick square rod bars with 152mm pitch for complete item of work. For Door there will be no Safety Grill including cost and conveyance of all materials, accessories, labour charges for transportation, erection at site complete for finished item of work.
Supply and fixing of pre-painted steel top hung and fixed louvered ventilators made of pre - painted steel (base steel as per lS 513 of -0.58 mm thick 'D" quality, galvanized as per lS 277 with zinc of t20 GSM) primer coated with epoxy primer of 5-7 microns thick, finish painted with a polyester paint of 12-16 microns thick and back coated with 5-7 microns thick alkyd backer, section for outer frame of 46 x 52 mm section and for shutter of 46 x 46 mm section for mullion 46 x 70 mm, and section for beading should be !8 x 25 mm and section for louvered ventilation of 33 x 56 mm Box section and the windows panelled with 5 mm thick plain float glass & 4 mm pinhead glass for ventilators with Ethyl propylene Diamine monomer Gasket (EPDM) and the sections cut to length mitre joined with corner brocket centre mullions fixed using mullion cap and with handle made of high grade aluminium powder coated and nylon receiver, corner brackets made of CRCA with Zinc Phosphate, Mullion caps made of glass filled nylon, frames fixed to the concrete /masonry wall by means of self expanding screws including 10 mm square guard bars with 6" pitch complete for finished item of work.
Providing and fixing Fixed Louver Ventilator of Seccolor fabricated from Roll Formed Sections made of galvanized steel of color coated (Base Steel as per IS 153 ‘D’ quality, galvanized as per IS 277 with Zinc of 120 grams / Sq. Mt. with total coated thickness of 0.58mm.) Coated Sections should be with primer coat of Epoxy Primer 5-7 microns thick, finished paint with a Polyester Paint of 12-16 microns thick and back coated with Alkyd backer of 5-7 microns. The section for external frame should be of 33 x 58 mm. Glass holding flanges made of Polypropylene. The frame section should be cut to length and mitre joined with corner bracket made of Nylone Window Frame Should be Fixed to brick / concrete by using self – expanding sleeves and driving MS electroplated 80mm long screws into the sleeves through the frames including necessary hardware complete.
Providing and fixing Rain water down take PVC pipes (6 kg/cm2) of 110 mm dia. including cost of shoes, necessary supports , clamps,casing made of macthing galvalume sheet to cover PVC Pipes complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
PAINTING WORKS
Note: All external/internal painting works will have to be done with erecting double tubular steel scaffolding only. No jhoola/Bhada shall be permitted. All rates quoted in the above painting items shall include erection of double tubular scafolding and provision of safety measures like safety belts, eye protection gears, etc.
Providing and Painting on STEEL surfaces with Epoxy PU paint using 2 coats of (120 Micron dry film thickness) Epoxy PU high build coating as finishing coat over a priming coat of EPILUX-13 High Build primer of 50 micron thickness over steel surfaces at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer' specifications including preparation of surface by cleaning with wire brush and rubbing, scraping, applying sand paper, making free of Rust, dust, dirt etc. filling the holes, joint, cracks if any using epoxy putty complete. all as per manufacturers technical data and as directed at site to achieve minimum overall dry Film thickness of 170 micron (50 Micron primer Coat + 120 micron finishing Coat).
Providing and painting two coats on steel surfaces with synthetic enamel paint and required colour to give an even shade over a coat of zinc chromate primer (total three coats) Coat including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete all as per technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
