Repair and Extension of Capacitor Bank Roof, Replacing Chain link fencing etc at Phase-II Central Substation area of FACT (Cochin Division)

Dismantling the existing chainlink fencing carefully using cutting gas/ hacksaw blade without damaging the structural frame work and depositing initally near to site and then transporting the same to Phase-I store scrap yard/other waste yard after completion of work as per deparmental instructions (cutting gas required for the work will be supplied by the company free of cost at our stores)

Dismantling AC / GI / Tufflite / Aluminium/ Zincalum sheet roofing, side cladding etc and depositing the debris away from plant limit within a distance of 150 m.

Dismantling AC / Aluminium / Zincalum ridge pieces and clearing away debris from the plant limit.

Cleaning the structural/other surface neatly at all heights, manually with suitable tools or with high pressure water jet spray (using suitable mechanical means), and scraping if required, to remove the whole accumulated dust, rust, dirt etc as per departmental instructions.

Taking out the existing broken stone from yard including uprooting the vegetations, washing the stone and back filling inside the yard with the same broken stone to lines and levels after leveling the soil bed as per departmental instructions.

Supplying, stacking and spreading 36 mm hard granite broken stone inside the yard as per departmental instructions (Measurement will be made on stack measurement)

Providing and fixing GI chain link fabric fencing as per IS 2721 of required width in mesh size 50x50 mm with 3 mm dia wire (Preferably Tata Wiron GI D-Fence) including fixing to the MS structures by welding & painting with two coats of anti corrosive black bituminous paint at all heights as per departmental instructions. (Welding electrode will be supplied free of cost at our stores)

Fabrication and erection of structural steel works bolted or welded as per drawings at all levels for trusses, ladders splices, frame work, base plates, HD bolts, purling, cleats, struts etc. including drilling, welding, cleaning the structural, erecting and painting with two coats of zinc chromate primer (one shop coat and one coat after erection) and two coats of chemical resistant enamel paint of approved quality and colour over the primer including supply of necessary MS bolts and nuts other than holding down bolts. Structural, gas & electrodes will be supplied free of cost by the Company.

Roofing/side cladding with AC corrugated/Semi corrugated sheets 6 mm thick with 7 mm or nearest available dia and suitable length GI Hooks/bolts and nuts,GI and bitumen washers ,cutting sheets to required shape/length, providing a minimum overlap of 150 mm at ends including cost of AC sheets and all other materials, scaffolding charges etc complete at all heights.

Providing AC Corrugated/semi corrugated ridge capping with 7 mm or nearest dia and suitable length GI hooks/bolts and nuts, GI and bitumen washers etc,providing required overlaps at ends including cost of all materials including ridge, scaffolding charges etc complete at all heights.

Painting with one coat of zinc chromate yellow metal primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint using approved brand & quality at all heights after cleaning the surface including cost of all paint and materials, labour charges, scaffolding charges etc.complete as per deptl instructions

Collecting ,conveying and Disposal of building rubbish/ debris/similar unserviceable,dismantled or waste materials by manual/ mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved areas for filling, spreading in layers as per directions of Engineer-in-charge (20% deduction will be made if measured loose in lorries & from stack) - For an average lead of 2 KM
