Eligibility Criteria

A copy of the valid Electrical Contractor registered under KPWD Class-IV and above (Class III & IV should be issued by Dharwad circle) registration certificate.

A copy of the valid Employees Provident Fund EPF registration Certificate

Each tenderer must pay specified full E.M.D. in the KPP portal platform through any of the payment modes as- aCredit card bDirect Debit c)National Electronic fund transfer NEFT d)Over the counter OTC). Tenders without valid E.M.D. shall be rejected.requisite Earnest Money Deposit EMD through ecash only.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The annual turnover of intending bidder shall not be less than the equal to the amount put to tender that is, Rs.19.73 Lakhs in any one financial year during the last 5 years that isfrom 2020-21to 2024-25.

Tenderers who meet the above specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value. The available tender capacity will be calculated as under Assessed available tender capacity is equal to AxNx2.5 minus B for details refer tender document Note The statements showing the value of existing commitments and on-going works as well as the stipulated period of completion remaining for each of the works listed should be countersigned by the Employer in charge, not below the rank of an Executive Engineer or equivalent.

The intending bidder should have in last five years i.e., from 2020-21 to 2024-25 satisfactorily completed (at least 90% of the contract value) as a prime contractor at least one similar nature of work i.e., LIS Maintenance Work value not less than 50% of the estimate value of amount put to tender i.e., Rs. 9.87 Lakhs. The Work done certificates obtained from the officer not below rank of Executive Engineer should be uploaded. The work done value of the previous year shall be updated to present price level of 2025-26 at 10% per annum

The contractor should neither make any alteration in the conditions of contract nor not stipulate any conditions of his own

The Electronic document that is, Financial bid of all the participated bidder will be opened. After Post qualification among eligible bidders the lowest bidder will be identified. If the lowest bidder fails to produce the original documents for entering into an agreement or the original documents submitted does not match with the uploaded documents or found false, then his bid is treated as non-responsive bid as per clause-264of the KTPP rules and his name would be recommended for the removal from the select list of KPWD enrolment and barred from participation in any of the tenders invited by the KNNL apart from forfeiting the EMD paid through e-cash

Evaluation will be done based on the information provided by the contractor as per the document uploaded through e-procurement the correctness of the uploaded document will be verified if necessary.

Any bidders who is otherwise technically qualified withdraws from the bidding process at any stage before a final decisions taken on the tender, the EMD of such bidder shall be forfeited, the name of such bidder shall be recommended for removal from the KPWD contractors at least for a minimum period of one year in KNNL, besides making such bidders liable for black listing.

Any of the bidder who withdraws from the bidding process after completion of tender submission date at any stage before a final decision taken on the tender, the EMD of such bidder shall be forfeited and the name of such bidder shall be removed from the select list of KPWD registration and barred from participation in any of the tenders invited by KNNL thereafter

The tenderer should quote the rate with respect to the amount shown as work portion Part-A in Column No-3 of Statement showing the details of work. However G.S.T will be paid at prevailing rates during billing as claimed by the tenderer subject to verification.

The selected bidder should produce MDP copy while submitting the bill from the copitative authority, authorized by the Mines and Geology Department of Karnataka. 5 times of Royalty amount deducted in the absence of MDP.As per Government order Ltr No MandGoorDCBor2023-24 Dated07-11-2023)andWRD 93 VBYE 2024 dated05-07-2024

As per Government order FD 447 EXP-12 2022 dated 30or07or2022, GST will be added to the Contract amount separately

The bidders shall ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of KPP Portal on or before the last date of bid submission Through Electronic Media The tenderer is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The department shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches.

Even though the agencyorfirm meets the qualifying criteria, they are subjected to disqualification if they have made misleading or false representations in the forms, statements and attachments submitted in proof of the qualification requirements and incomplete filling of details in the prequalification document.

The evaluation of pre-qualification will be done based on the information provided by the contractor as per the documents uploaded through e-procurement. The correctness of the uploaded documents will be verified if necessary

Conditional tenders will be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work before attending and also submitting their tenders

Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Ltd., Reserves the right to verify the correctness of the statements and documents furnished and inspect the jobs executed by the agencyorfirm, if found necessary

The Tenders are invited as per Standard tender Bid Document of KW-1

All relevant documents as per the KNNL need to be uploaded while submitting bid in general documents provision in e-procurement portal.

Contractors should follow strictly prevailing rules of labour act.

Bidders should not be under any declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Scanned Signature of the BidderorAuthorized Representative in case of firmorcompany to be attached while uploading bid documents along with valid power of attorney.

The Contractor should adhere to the accepted execution plan submitted by his under any circumstances without linking to the pending payment of the work and also land acquisition problem if any.

Considering the availability of funds, the bill of the Agency will be paid

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable

Relevant documents must be uploaded wherever necessary.

If any of the dates mentioned in the Calendar of events happened to be declared holiday, the next working day holds good for event

Bidder should have Annual Turnover of more than Rs.100.00crores shall submit GST E-Invoice, while claiming the Bills under the above work.
