METALLOGRAPHY EXAMINATION:

Macro-examination per specimen per location (as per ASTM-E-381)

Micro-examination with 3 copies of photographs at one Magnification

Grain size determination as per ASTM-E-112

Inclusion rating determination as per ASTM-E-45 Method-A

Ferrite check as per ASTM-E-562 (Metallography / Area Fraction)

Ferrite check using ferrite meter (Magnetic instruments)

Replica Examination at Lab

With Optical Microscope (Per Replica)

SEM (Per Replica) or per sample of fractured surface

In-situ metallography work to be carried out at in & around Mumbai (Rate per Visit or minimum 8 replica) with Optical Microscope

Rate for additional replica (In-situ metallography work) (over and above 8 locations) to be carried out at in & around Mumbai
