Picking up and removing old bituminous layer or sand sealing coat from old black topped surface and cleaning the exposed surface by scraping and stacking the material as directed. By mechanical means (without milling machine) : From 50 mm to 100 mm thick.
Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary. Depth above 300 mm & up to 450 mm.
Construction of Embankment with Carried earth obtained from borrow pits (land owned/arranged by the Agency with Royalty ) with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 3000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD. Wet Mix Macadam Base Course Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (Pakur variety) to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 406 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Dense Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying dense bituminous macadam with Hot Mix Plant using crushed aggregate of specified grading, filler (cement / hydrated lime /rock dust) premixed with bituminous binder of approved grade @ 4.0% minimum for grading 1 and 4.5% minimum for grading 2 by weight of total mix as per table 500-10 and mix design done as per table 500-11 and job mix formula as per clause 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Revision) , including screening, cleaning of chips transporting the Hot Mix to work site, laying the mixed materials at specified laying temperature, as specified in table 500-2 with a hydro static paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level anf alignment over prepared surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled and vibratory or tandem rollers or with a pneumatic tyred roller of 12 to15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of atleast 0.56 mpa, to achieve the desired density as per clause 505.3.5, all including cost and carraige of bitumen, crushed aggregate, filler materials and hire charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control, complete as per Clause 505 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Using Pakur variety stone material, hydrated lime and bituminous binder (VG-40 bulk @ 111.00kg./ m3) For Grading 2 (26.5 mm nominal size, 50 mm compacted thick.) Using Batch Type HMP of minimum capacity 100-120 TPH. (Payment will be made on the basis of finished compacted volume)

Supplying & fixing of Raised pavement Markers/Road Studs/Cats eye made of polycarbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face which shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to clause no 804 of MoRT& H’s specification for Road & Bridge works (Fifth Rev.). Marker height shall not be less than 10mm and shall not exceed 20mm, width shall not exceed 130 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sq.cm on each side and slope to the base shall be 35 ± 5 degre. Fixing will be without nails but by using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation including site clearance etc. and complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge. The contractor will have to provide a test certificate from a reputable national/ international laboratory conforming the above specifications.

Providing and laying of Filter media with granular materials/stone crushed aggregates/brick aggregates/river bed materials satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2 of MoRT&H Specifications to a thickness of not less than 600 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification. Using 0.72 m of brick aggregates and 0.48 m³ of Coarse sand ( loose volume) per m³

Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge . In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means. Depth upto 3.0 metre With pumping out water including shoring as required.
Earthwork in filling in foundation trenches with good earth in layers not exceeding 15cm. including watering and ramming layer by layer complete with earth obtained from excavation of foundation or from fresh excavation of land arranged by Department within a lead of 150 m.
Fine Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying Design Mix concrete for plain / reinforced concrete work in any part of bridge (excluding bottom plugging) with coarse aggregates (Pakur variety) of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete but excluding cost of labour and materials for formwork & reinforcement works. M-15 Grade Using concrete mixer.
Plain Cement Concrete in Substructure with coarse aggregates (Pakur variety) of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality, cement and water reducing admixtures, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete as per drawing and technical specification including the cost of necessary form work and staging complete as per drawing and technical specifications. Height upto 5m. PCC M-20 grade concrete

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Bridge Sub-structure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications. Tor Steel rods / HYSD bars / TMT bars (SAIL/ TATA/ RINL )
Providing weep holes in Brick masonry / Plain / Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall / return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing face. Complete as per drawing and Technical specifications.

COST ESTIMATE FOR DIVERSION :- At 7 Locations
Construction of Embankment with Carried earth obtained from borrow pits (land owned/arranged by the Agency with Royalty ) with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 3000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD. (Mode of measurement: pre works and post works) This item includes the cost of compensation of land, cost of Royalty, loading, unloading, extra Carriage by Mechanical Transport up to 2 KM over initial lead of 1 KM etc. Note: During initial payment, a sum of Rs 29.00/ m3 & Rs 5.30/m3 (both with out GST & LW Cess) of equivalent volume of borrowpit of earth is to be dudcted from the bill as Royalty & Cesses charges, which will be paid seperately on production of Royalty clearance cerificate from the competent authority.

Removal of unserviceable soil including excavation, loading and disposal upto 1000 metres lead but excluding replacement by suitable soil which shall be paid separately as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3.11 for Rural Roads of MORD. (Mode of measurement: pre works and post works)
Repairing of Culverts & Bridges:- 3 Nos.
Hire and labour charges for staging with salbullah for super structure of bridge (Major and Minor) including stripping off and removing clearing on completion of work as per design and drawing approved by the Engineer-in-charge.
Cleaning the exposed reinforcement preferably upto full diameter by wire brush, applying two coats of polymer based rust removing compound left for 24 hours, removing the coating and then applying two (2) coats of polymer modified anti corrosive protective coating formulated to inhibit the corrosion of reinforcement as per manufacturer's specification] [Mode of measurement:The affected surface area of reinforcement shall be considered for payment]
Cleaning the exposed corroded Reinforcement as well as worn out concrete by sand blasting with air compressor including all materials , hire charges of machineries and abour etc. all complete as per technical specification anddirection of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing anti-corrosive protective coating to inhibit the corrosion to HYSD reinforcements including two coats of anti-corrosive coatings of consumption as per manufacturer's specification, cleaning etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Guniting concrete surface with cement mortar (25 mm nominal thick) applied with compressor after cleaning surface and spraying with epoxy complete as per Technical specification.

C : PROTECTIVE WORK
BOULDER SAUSAGE WITH CRATE:-
Weaving wire mattress as directed with wire of 4mm dia. and making sausage crate of required shape after tying all intersections including joining longitudinal ends, closing ends of sausage, carriage of wire to site of work complete in all respect as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge including cost of supply of G.I. wire. (With 100mm x 100mm mesh.)
Filling properly the empty sausage crates with boulders (Pakur variety) of any size & shape with hand packing after preparation of bed of placement, placing the crate in position, carriage of boulders from road stacks with a lead upto 150m etc. complete in all respect including stitching the rest of the crate with wire (passage for filling boulders) after filling up the crate with boulders and launching the crate in position if necessary and as directed by the Engineer-in charge.

Protection of embankment with walling by closely driven 150 mm diameter eucalyptus bullah in Double row each of 3750 mm total length, driven 2250 mm into ground or bed of pond / water body in standing water condition, @ 400 mm center to center with 1500 mm exposed height, including fittings of three numbers half split 100 mm diameter eucalyptus bullah Runner along full length of the walling for each row, including 100mm diameter eucalyptus bullah tie of 2500 mm in length, fitted @ 2000 mm center to center with Tie-post anchoring by driving 100mm diameter eucalyptus bullah Tie post of 1650mm in length, 1500 mm length driven into ground on the road side @ 2000mm centre to centre including 2 (Two) coats coal tarring on all Eucalyptus bullah used complete as per direction including the cost of supplying eucalyptus bullah, nails, bolts, wires, etc. and labour charges for cutting bullah, driving charges for driving ballah into ground, fitting, fixing charges for Runner & Tie, including excavation charges, carriage & labour charges complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Diameter of pile to be measured at a distance of 1.5m from the thicker end and Payment will be made on finished length of walling (for Single row) complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-Charge.)
