Urgent repairs to 03 cusec non-clog submersible pumping unit at Lift irrigation scheme Braripora.

Amount

a. Dismantling, dragging, extracting 03 cusec non-clog submersible pump installed in Pohru Nallah at Lift Irrigation Scheme Braripora by way of engaging skilled cum non-skilled labour using various tools and tackles for dragging of pump along terrific slope to level ground in a careful manner for accessing of damages to the pump. The job includes dismantling of 200mm dia MS bend, flexible pipes of rising main to facilitate dismantling of pump. Loading of pumping unit from site to workshop across a lead of approximately 30 Km b. Completely dismantling the Submersible pump-set by way of removing the motor cover from the pump assembly and then extracted the rotor assembly from the stator after dismantling impeller, seals, bearings etc. by way of using specifically tailored tools and tackles especially to remove damaged stator from pump casing. c. Extracting the burnt coils from the slots, cleaning the slots and complete rewinding of its stator coils of 35 HP prime mover . Rewinding of the stator by way of formation/insulation of requisite number of coil sets of suitable cross section made of super enamelled copper wire of requisite gauge. (Note: The unserviceable scrap copper generated shall be property of the firm and is taken into account for estimation of rate.). Coils shall be fitted/installed by using superior quality insulation material i.e. film paper, special leathered sheets, glass cloth of requisite thickness. Varnishing the stator with superior quality varnish and drying the stator with hot air/blower. Total weight of copper used= 22 kg approx... d. Providing and fitting of superior quality mechanical seal (inboard & Outboard) after replacement of the damaged one as per sample. e. Providing and fitting of 02 no DE and NDE 6309 bearings after replacement of the damaged ones. f. Providing and fitting of lower Bearing bracket after replacement of the damaged one. g. Providing and fitting the ‘O’ RING of the cable gland after replacement of the damaged one. h. Providing and fitting the LOCK WASHER- LOCK NUT (Chuck nut ) after replacement of the damaged one. i. Reassembling/ refitting the pump-motor assembly involving applying heat resistant PVC seal to the seats of the hoods, covers and joints etc. so as to make them water proof. j. Carriage of the unit workshop to site and installation of same in Pohru Nallah by way of carefully lowering/handling pumping unit along steep bank, fitting of bend, flexible pipes back to rising main and testing of pump at site. All the tools & tackles required for dismantling of the pump are to be arranged and brought to site by contracting agency.
