CA NO. GE/K-42/2026-27 - REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF EARTHING AND LIGHTING CONDUCTER AND ALLIED WORKS AT KARGIL, BUDHKHARBU AND HENISKUT UNDER GE KARGIL

M&L for earthing complete with Galvanized Steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 M deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 M below normal ground level, connected to and including GI iron strip of size 32x6 mm flat by means of GI bolts, nuts, and washers, protected by 40mm bore GI light grade ISI marked pipe upto and including test points. Earthing plate shall be surrounded by alternate layers 15cm thick of charcoal or coke and common salt all around bottom and top, 20mm dia GI medium grade pipe for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, PCC chamber pit made with PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 20mm graded crushed store aggrgate) including necessary form work, excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceed ing 50 M, pit cover 40 mm thick made with RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed store aggrgate) including TMT reinforcement 80 mm dia @ 75 mm C/C both way, MS handle of 12 mm dia, cover rest on MS angle iron frame 40x40x6mm embeded in concrete duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and as shown in electrical plate No-3 of SSR Part-I and all as directed. Note:- (i) Protection pipe and earthing strip upto 7.5 meter shall be including in the unit rate of this item. (ii) The earth testing arrangement should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-charge. No extra payment shall be made on this account.

M&L in replacement of earth contuinity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required galvanised iron strip 32x6mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600x600x6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5metres below normal ground level, connected to and including GI iron wire of size 4mm dia by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, protected by 15mm bore GI light grade ISI marked pipe upto and including test points. Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate layer 15cm thick of charcoal or coke and common salt all around bottom and top , 20cm bore GI medium grade ISI marked pipe for watering and including funnel,wire mesh,PCC chamber pit made with PCC(1:3:6) type C-1(using 20mm graded stone aggregate) including necessary form work, excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50M, pit cover 40mm thick made with RCC(1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) including TMT reinforcement 8mm dia@75mm C/C both way,MS handle 12mm dia, cover rest on MS angle iron frame 40x40x6mm, embeded in concrete duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified & shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR 2009(Part-I) and all as directed. Note:- (i) Protection pipe and earthing strip upto 7.5 Mtr shall be included in the unit rate of this item. (ii) Earth testing arrangement should be done by contractor as per direction of Engr-In-Charge.

S&F in repair of PCC earth pit 30x30x30cm constructed in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 exposed surfaces smoothly finished with 15mm thick cement mortar 1:6 plaster including RCC pit cover 50mm thick 1:2:4 type B1 reinforced with 8mm dia mild steel bar 75mm centre to centre with 2 Nos MS handles of 12mm dia suitable for carrying of pit cover complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of MS Funnel with wire mesh of existing size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Air termination single pointed aluminium rod of 12mm dia and 300mm long complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of Aluminium strip 25x3.15mm (Aluminium strip should be 99 percent pure, of sufficient mechanical strength and effectively protected against corrosion) with insulators,saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors upto test point and further connected to ground conductor complete as complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement of GI tube light grade laid in PCC Foundation and protection/fixed air termination single pointed aluminium rod and strip protection as required for the size 40mm bore complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
