M & L for removal of Rubber Deposits on Runway surfaces using Water Blasting-cum-Vacuume system with suitable operating pressure to remove total rubber deposits from the pavement surface without damaging the existing runway surface and maintaining the texture and surface condition of the pavement intact complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for removal of Paints on Runway / Taxi Track surfaces using Water Blasting-cum-Vacuume system with suitable operating pressure to remove total paint deposits from the pavement surface without damaging the existing runway surface and maintaining the texture and surface condition of the pavement intact complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for Preparing existing Black Top Surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with compressed air to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a coat of Cold applied Polymer Modified Emulsion [PME] by using mechanical sprayer, at the rate of Cold Liquid PME 1.00 Litres per Square Metre [undiluted] for two coats [after diluting with water], each coat diluted in the ratio 1:1 [PME : Water], ensuring uniform coverage and finish on applied area complete all as per manufacturer instructions and all as specified and as directed. Note: [a] The work shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or his authorised applicator only. [b] Performance Guarantee Certificate for Two Years from the certified date of completion shall be submitted by the contractor. [c] Friction Test shall be measured and paid separately.
M & L for preparation of existing bituminous / concrete surfaces of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc. and Painting Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters, etc. on Road, Pavements and the like exceeding 10cm width or girth with One Coat Water based Acrylic Runway marking paint of colour White or Golden Yellow complete all as specified and as directed.
M & L for preparation of existing surfaces of Taxiway Marking and Turning Pads of Runway surfaces of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc. and Painting Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters, etc. and the like exceeding 10cm width or girth [Retro Reflective Type] of colour Yellow with White or Black Borders, Cold applied type, applied by skilled painter / applicator of wet film thickness of 400 microns in single coat and dry film thickness of 200 micron and coverage @ the rate of 0.4 to 0.5 Litres per Square Metre and application of drop on Glass Beads Type IV [Reflective Index 1.5] @ 350 Grams per Square Metre complete all as specified and as directed.
M & L for Racking out existing Bituminous Sealant from Expansion Joints to a depth of at least 30mm, cleaning edges up to a depth of at least 15 mm by scrapping / grinding by mechanical means to expose the concrete surfaces, Placing PVC Foam Baker Bar of 25 mm dia, inserting the same to keep a clear depth of 10 mm from top of pavement, applying epoxy based primer compound to the sides of joint from Baker Bar to the top of pavement, applying polyurethane sealant mixed thoroughly by stirring with Palette Knife and applying the same to the joint to a depth of 10 mm up to the top of pavement in Expansion Joints of 20 mm width complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed. Note: [a] Area shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and representative of users. [b] One JCB and One Chain Saw Tree Cutting Machine including Operators and Two Un-skilled labours for Eight Hours per Day shall be treated as One Job. [c] Proper care shall be taken while removing the roots etc. to avoid any damage to the existing underground cables and pipelines etc. Damage if any occurs to the underground cables and pipelines, the same shall be made good immediately to match the existing and to restore the services and rate quoted is deemed to be including the same. [d] The work is required to be executed along Main/Secondary Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any disturbance for flying. [e] The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. [f] Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. [g] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be considering all the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.
Maintenance of Airfield Shoulders by deploying Tractor with suitable capacity Jungle Zim with Tractor Operator and Two Helpers for cutting of grass and One Helper for sweeping grass after cutting of Grass, bushes, small plants of any type along the sides of Runway Shoulders and Airfield Areas including supply of Fuel, lubricants, spares and renewal of tyres/tubes as required for smooth operation of equipment deployed including maintenance of Tractor, Jungle Zim, insurance and license fees including removing of debris to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as directed. Note: [a] Area shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and representative of users. [b] 2 Nos of Jungle Zim shall be made available at all times at site and the same may be increased to required numbers as per site requirement. [c] An area of 10000 Square Metres shall be treated as One Job for measurement and payment purpose irrespective of the Plant, Machinery and Manpower employed for each job. [d] The work is required to be executed along Main/Secondary Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any disturbance for flying. [e] The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. [f] Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. [g] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be considering all the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.
Periodic Supply of Hand held Grass cutting Machine of Make Honda or equivalent with Machine operator and one Helper for Cutting and Sweeping Grass after cutting of Grass, bushes, small plants of any type along the sides of Dispersal Area, Taxi Track, Runway, Shoulders and Airfield areas throughout the year, including supply of Fuel, lubricants, spares, renewal of blades as required including maintenance and repairs to Machine and trade insurance and license fees including removing of debris to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as directed. Note: [a] Area shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and representative of users. [b] One No. of Hand held Grass cutting Machine shall be made available at all times at site and the same may be increased to required numbers as per site requirement. [c] An area of 1000 Square Metres shall be treated as One Job for measurement and payment purpose irrespective of the Plant, Machinery and Manpower employed for each job. [d] The work is required to be executed along Main/Secondary Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any disturbance for flying. [e] The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. [b] The work shall be carried out using JCB / Tata Hitachi EX 60 / 70 / 100 Excavator or any other Machinery as required at site. [c] JCB / Tata Hitachi EX 60 / 70 / 100 Excavator including Operators and Labour for Eight Hours per Day shall be treated as One Job. [d] Proper care shall be taken while removing the silt, grit, mud and other materials to avoid any damage to the existing underground cables and pipelines etc. Damage if any occurs to the underground cables and pipelines, the same shall be made good immediately to match the existing and to restore the services and rate quoted is deemed to be including the same. [e] The work is required to be executed along Main/Secondary Runway. [b] One Tractor Dozer and One Motor Grader including Operators and Two Un-skilled labours for Eight Hours per Day shall be treated as One Job. [c] Proper care shall be taken while removing the silt, grit, mud and other materials to avoid any damage to the existing underground cables and pipelines etc. Damage if any occurs to the underground cables and pipelines, the same shall be made good immediately to match the existing and to restore the services and rate quoted is deemed to be including the same. [d] The work is required to be executed along Main/Secondary Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any disturbance for flying. [e] The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area. S & F Reinforcement using High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified and as directed.
Demolition of Cement Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.
M & L for 100 mm thick, PCC 1:2:4, Type B-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in Floors / Hard standing etc, surface of concrete roads, pavements finished by brooming, laid in alternate bays complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for washing, rubbing down and stopping of painted surfaces and applying One coat of Plastic Emulsion Paint on Walls / Ceiling surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
M & L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description not other wise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying One Coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for Writing letters or figures [Block, Roman, Italic or Indian] not exceeding 30 cm high using Fluorescent / Retro Reflective Paint complete all as specified and as directed.
M & L for Friction Test for Flexible & Rigid Pavement with PSRT [Portable Skid Resistant Tester] Machine and shall be carried out by qualified and experienced Engineer at the places shown by the user representative and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: [a] The test shall be conducted before and after the rubber removal to ascertain friction developed. [b] The tests shall be conducted five times at one place and average reading shall be considered. [c] The test shall be conducted in non-flying time as per guidelines of the ATC. [d] The test results shall be submitted in triplicate. [e] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for conducting five tests at one place and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
