REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF RMU, VCBs, TRANSFORMER AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT LANSDOWNE UNDER AGE (I) LANSDOWNE

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Description same all as per item No 1 above but for each additional 1.5m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5m in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material soil n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 110mmdia HDPE pipe for forUG cable fixed in mass concrete pillar over/alongwith the culvert/drain complete all as specified & directed. Note- The PCC shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for cement concrete (1:4:8 ) type D2 ( using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) for foundation of pole / stay including form work etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling,watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in Hard/Dense Soil complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out old unserviceable Tubular poles and struts of any size complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down bend/damaged mild steel work such as cross arms, bracing, supported, clamps & back plates etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling insulators any type, any size complete all as speified and directed.

Dismantling stay assembly complete all as speified and directed. (demolition of concrete and excavation measured separately)

Disconnecting and taking out old unserviceable GI Pipe and Supply, laying & jointing GI water tubing 100 mm bore, light grade as in sleeving etc laid in trenches/pole post/under culvert/under road etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C1 ( using 20mm graded stone aggregate ) as in coping of poles studs including form work etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP 55 (11.0 meter long) as per IS-2713 including painting two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer including 4 Nos band/straps with yellow and black colour in alternate way (250mm wide each) aluminium paint two coat at a distance 300mm from plinth block and marking pole nos with black paint including tarring one coat on steel surface embedded in concrete complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Necessary earth work and excavation, PCC in foundation 1:4:8 type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate and PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth block, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m will be measured and paid sepearately

M&L for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of synthetic aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation. connecting electrically & commissioning in replacement HT 11 KV outdoor type switch air break, gang operated, tripple pole mounted horizontal or vertical mounting fixed type complete with insulators 15 Nos 200 Amps rating and steel frame mechanically operated mechanism consisting of operating rod 25mm bore light grade GI pipe of suitable length worked from ground level and with locking arrangement flat iron clamp 50mmx6mm including MS channel of suitable size length for fixing GOD including bolts, nuts and washer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for galvanized steel wire 3.15/4 mm dia to HT over head line as continuous earth or fabrication of guarding cradles all as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling of old unserviceable lightening arrester and supply and fix new lightening arrester non liner type confirming to IS No 3070 part I complete with all fittings, transmission class discharge capacity 12KV/10 KA suitable for 11 KV including making connections with over head line with ACSR conductor on poles complete all as specified and directed.

S&F stay assembly complete with all accessories, such as stay plate 300x300x6mm, stay rod 215cm long and 20mm dia with nuts including GI Bow turn buckle etc, all as per Electrical Plate No 1 SSR-2009 Part-I complete all as specified and directed. (Necessary excavation , PCC and one set of stay clamps at top of pole & loop insulator of size 90x140 mm porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green shall be measured and paid seperately)

S&F Galvanised stay wire of size 7/4mm all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25 X 20 cm size complete all as specified and directed.

S&F disc type polymer Insulator with hardware fitting ball and socket type, 70 KN disc assembly for working pressure 11000 Volts complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F pin type polymer Insulator with hardware fitting ball and socket type, 70 KN for working pressure 11000 Volts complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for punning of tree branches touching to electric overhead lines with growth around HT overhead lines poles and stay complete to clear span of 2 mtr all around the OH lines poles with all tools and plants as required at site by the contractor including cleaning the area/site. Note (i) Any breakdown of line caused during the punning shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost (ii) Distance between pole to pole shall be measured as one span. (iii) Only those span will be measured in which trees are alives.

M&L for loop type insulator vitreous porcelain white, brown or green large size with overall dimensions 90 x 140 mm clearence of hole 25.5mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination Cold Shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 Sqmm to 95 sqmm all as specified and directed.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through Cold Shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 Sqmm to 95 sqmm all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in ground. ( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr depth below ground level at any type of strata ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15cm all around the plate. connected by 4 mm GI wire as earth lead by means of brass nuts and bolt, thimbles check nuts, washers including concrete chamber of PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with fair finish, internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given internal dia 300mm x300mm, 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 funnel with wire mesh, RCC pit cover of 320x320x80mm size PCC 1:2:4 Type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate rainforced with XPM all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-1(2009) and specified including and provision of GI wire upto 7.5 mtrs long with 15 mm dia light grade GI pipe protection and watering pipe of GI 20 mm bore, medium grade, including all exavation and earth work and connecting the earthing wire to panel, including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC(1:2:4) type B1, 80mm thick rainforced with XPM weighing not less than 4kg/sqm in lieu of CI cover. (ii) Cost of additional GI wire more than 7.5 mtrs will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.

M&L for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required Galvanised Iron strip 32x6mm complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement motor with gear assembly for spring mechanism charging suitable for HT VCB complete all as specified and directed.

Labour for laying,spreading and levelling graded coarse aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:5:10) type E2 ( using 40mm graded stone aggregate) for filling of sub base including form work etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for prepration of old treated surface of existing steel tubular pole 11 mtr hight without removing accessories and Preparation of surfaces for repainting. Repainting the pole with one coat of alternate black and yellow strips of 30 cm upto height of 1.5 mtr using synthetic enamel paint. Marking the pole number with black enamel paint. Repainting the remaining pole and iron parts steel cross arms i.e 'U' clamps etc above 1.5 Mtr height by applying two coat of synthetic enamel aluminium paint all as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting electrical cable from pole/ transformer in any position and taking up or down unsv under ground cable ,trenching out cables by mannual digging in any location of size 95 sq mm to 120 sq mm and finding of fault by visual check or by cable fault locator, meggering the cable with 11KV megger and filling of cable end/ straight through joints if required and reconnecting/ relaying the cable in same position complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Cable end/ straight through joints and other accessories will be measured and paid separately under relavant item of schedule.)

(ii)Individual Breaker VCB shall be considered as one unit and above job is to be carried out unitwise. Above job will be carried out by licenced technician as aproved by GE/AGE (I).

(iii) Any accident/mishapenning occurred during the execution of work shall be responsibity of the Contractor.

(v) Inventry of defective parts to be replaced by contractor will be prepared by joint inspection with contractor

M & L for calibration of IDMT miscroprocessor based numeric relay fixed in 11 KV HT panel by primary and secondary injection method and setting the relay tripping timing in advance to match the outgoing load on the incoming and out going feeders complete all as specified and directed

Note :(i) Individual Breaker VCB shall be considered as one unit and above job is to be carried out unitwise. Above job wii be carried out by licenced technician as aproved by AGE(I).

(ii) Any accident/mishapenning occurred during the execution of work shall be responsibity of Contractor.

(iii) All necessary tools & plants required to carry out above job will be provided by contractor and the cost of the same deemed to be included in queoted rate.

S&F rack in rack out assembly suitable for 11 KV VCB Complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement of closing coil with working voltage 24 volts DC suitable for existing panel complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement trip coil with plunger with working voltage 24 volts DC suitable for existing panel complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting all in coming and outgoing cables, removing the transformer from the platform / two pole structure / floor and loading it in the vehicle carefully using crane and transporting it to approved nearby workshop, for carrying out maintenance of transformer all as specified in IS -10028 (part III) - 1981 following by Opening of transformer cover, draining out oil, de-tanking core and coil assembly,cleaning, washing of dust and dirt etc from all parts including core and tank, cooling tubes of radiators, re-assembling of core and winding after carrying out necessary repair and replacement of defective items including providing all necessary insulation material of appropriate class including varnishing drying out in vacuum chamber till specified IR values are achieved if required, complete insulation varnishing to be done and providing new gasket, nuts , bolts, and checking of leakages if any,rectifying the same by welding, checking of tap change if found faulty, repair / replace the same etc, replacement of silica gel and reassembling of complete transformer all as directed by Engr-in-Charge , including testing as per relevant IS and transporting back the transformer after repair/maintenance to the site , installing it, reconnecting all the incoming and out going cables by properly using insulation tape and testing complete of following capacities.

(a) 250 to 400 KVA 11000/433 Volt Distribution transformer

(b) 63 KVA to 200 KVA 11000/433 Volt Distribution transformer

Note - (i) Cost of items required to be replaced will be measured and paid seper

ately as supply only under relivent items of this contract. The labour charge for replacing the same are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii) The cost of painting inside & outside of transformer also deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (As per IS -10028 (part III) - 1981.) (iii) The standby transformer will be provided by the contractor without any extra cost for continuous power supply, while carrying out repair of transformer. (iv) Any other items which is required to be provided for smooth functioning of transformer but not specified above shall be provided by contractor without any extra cost . The cost of the same are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (v) The inventries of all defective items to be replaced/repaired will be prepaired jointly by Engr-in Charge and contractor at the time of inspection of defective trasformer after opening at the firm's workshop. The inventries will be signed by both Engr-in Charge and contractor before starting of repair work. (vi) The transformer will be got repaired from approved manufacturer /workshop having licence for the same, The firm shall be got approval from GE/AGE (I).

Supply only new HV coil of copper conductor suitable for 11 KV distribution transformer complete alongwith insulating material duly varnished by vacuum impregnation (as per sample) and backed coil assembly complete all as specified & directed.

Supply only new LV coil of copper conductor suitable for 415 V distribution transformer complete alongwith insulating material duly varnished by vacuum impregnation as per sample) and backed coil assembly complete all as specified & directed.
