REPAIRS TO ROOF AND WATER PROOFING TREATMENT AT SQNS TRG AREA ETTINA ETTIKULAM AND CERTAIN OTM ACCN AREA UNDER AGE BR I AT INA EZHIMALA

Dismantling single layer of Mangalore pattern tiles / laminated tiles of any description in roofing / ceiling complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for rendering 15 mm thick on concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:3) using water proofing compound as per manufacturers instruction complete and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including taking down old plaster complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Supply only of water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately under respective item

Material & labour for applying Dr Fixit roof seal classic new water proofing coat over roofs, chajjas etc at any height, self primer + 2 coats without water dilution as under:- (i) Apply one self-priming coat of Dr. Fixit Roofseal Classic New (diluted with water in the ratio 2:1) at the rate of 10.0 to 11.0 sq. m./Ltr. Allow it to dry for 2-3 hours. (ii) Once dry, apply the first coat of Dr. Fixit Roofseal Classic New at a rate of 0.45 to 0.50 liters/m2. and allow it to air cure for 4–6 hours. (iii) Apply the second coat at a 90° angle to the first coat, maintaining the same coverage rate. This system will achieve a total dry film thickness of 450–500 microns with material consumption of 0.90 –1.0 litres/m² (including self-primer + 2 coats). (iv) Ensure that the coating is terminated below the drip mold on vertical surfaces. Apply two additional coats at all critical areas such as corners, joints, outlets, and any previously repaired leak zones. Note:- Contractor may use equivalent product in M/s Asian paints, Berger paints, Fosroc with approval of GE after justifying the equlency and performance. Work shall be carried out as per manufacturers instructions through authorised skilled applicators.

Material & labour for applying two coats of Dr Fixit Rain coat select over a coat of self primer application on walls as under:- (a) SURFACE PREPARATION: (i) Remove laitance (accumulation of particles on fresh concrete) or exsting paint completely with a wire brush followed by cleaning with high water pressure jet. Algae and fungus on the wall are to be removed by using bio side or fungicidal solution and cleaning the same with high-water pressure jet. (ii) Strip all the old paint / putty and remove all the loose particles if any before starting the painting process. (iii) White cement wall putty or too smooth painted surface require sanding with 180 no sandpaper using only light-to-moderate pressure for best practices. Clean the surface with a cloth dampened with water to remove sanding dust. (iv) All cracks up to 3 mm in width should be opened up 5mm making the V groove and fill with Dr. Fixit Crack X Paste. Apply the primer coat prepared with Dr. Fixit Crack-X Paste and water in 1:1 proportion over the crack surface. Fill cracks with Dr. Fixit Crack-X Paste when the surface is tacky and not dried completely. (v) For cracks larger than 5mm and separation gaps, use polymer-modified mortar (PMM) mixed with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP 10% by weight of cement after making the V groove or by Dr. Fixit Polymer Modified Mortar HB(vi) (vi) Fill gaps around window frame and masonry wall with Feviseal Neutral Pro sealant.

(b) SELF PRIMER APPLICATION: (i) Apply one Self priming coat of Dr. Fixit Raincoat Waterproof Coating or Dr. Fixit Raincoat Basecoat in a 2:1 ratio with water (2 parts Raincoat Basecoat mixed with 1 part water). Maintain a spreading rate of 8-10 square meters per liter for a single coat. Allow the primer application to dry for 4-6 hours. (c) RAINCOAT BASECOAT WITH RAINCOAT SELECT TOPCOAT APPLICATION (i) Apply one coats of Dr. Fixit Raincoat Waterproof Coating or Dr. Fixit Raincoat Base coat without water dilution maintain the spreading rate of 3.7 - 4.2 sq. mtr per litre / (Self primer and one coat) application to achieve about 110 - 130 microns DFT. (ii) The second coat of Dr. Fixit Raincoat Select Topcoat in desired color shade with interval of 6-8 hours without any dilution. Maintain the spreading rate of 6.00- 6.40 sq. mtr per litre / coat application to achieve about 50-60 microns DFT for horizontal surfaces. Note:- Contractor may use equivalent product in M/s Asian paints, Berger paints, Fosroc with approval of GE after justifying the equivalency and performance. Work shall be carried out as per manufacturers instructions throught authorised skilled applicators.

Taking down cement plaster on brick/ PCC block wall or stone walls etc including racking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc in patches or narrow widths at any heights including all necessary scaffolding and safety measures complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for Rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or stone work concrete surfaces in CM (1:4) in patches or narrow widths at any height including all necessary scaffolding and safety measures complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for cement mortar fillets/ reapers at spacing as per size of manglore tiles in CM 1:2 for fixing manglore tiles all as specified and as directed including demolition of damaged fillets/reapers

Material & labour for roof tiles mangalore pattern interlocking tiles any size of approved make as directed laid dry complete all specified and as directed. Note:1st row of the tiles wherever required shall be fixed with cement mortar as per site requirement and quoted rate deemed included with this provision and nothing extra shall be paid.

Re-fixing roof tiles mangalore pattern interlocking tiles complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Serviceable tiles obtained from dismantling shall be reused.
