Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bitumenous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm Exc. 50 mm and n. exc. 100 mm deep

M&L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate of sand stone flint of quartzite of grading-2 (63mm to 40mm size) spread rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller.

As per item No. 02 but except materials.

Preparing surfaces of Unsurfaced WBM, by brushing with wire brushes for removing cacked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt etc

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at 5 Kgs per 10 Sqm

M&L for laying Bituminous VG-30 premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of VG-30 grade paving bitumen by weight of total mix. laid by self propelled mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller & rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete.

M&L for laying Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of VG-30 grade paving bitumen by weight of total mix, laid by self propelled mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller & rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete.

Repair to potholes any depth n.exc. 1.00 Sqm each incl. sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering & well ramming incl. supply of road metal.

All as item 10 above but applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5.00 kg per 10 Sqm of VG-10, putting in premixed as spd for thin bituminous carpet (2 Cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat 6.80 kg binders with 0.06 Cum of sand again well ramming (including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of pot holes n.exc. 30 mm

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
