9 FAB PANEL 2MM SHEET

Fabrication of sheet steel electrical single front/ double front cubicle type non-drawout panel boards made

of CRCA sheets of the following thickness including supply of MS sheets, cutting, folding, drilling, welding,

grinding to form panel boards to house various switchgear items DULY POWDER COATED USING

TANK PROCESS PAINTED IN SHADE IS:631 OR SPECIFIED COLOR SHALL INCLUDE

HARDWARE, fasteners ETC. COMPLETE AS PER TYPICAL GA

ATTACHED including supply and fixing of vermin proof rubber gaskets, door hinges, door locks and all

related hardware. NOTE: The total external plain surface area shall be taken for measurement i.e. All six

sides per panel shall be measured. Typical depth of panels will be 400MM for front access & dead back, for

rear cable entry with 600 mm and above, for ACB/MCCB cubical with depth of 1000mm and above.

Specific Requirement

1. The vendor has to carry out the dismantling of existing Panel and removal of old cables along with the

installation of new panel and termination of cable in the new panel .

2. Vendor has to make sure that the operations does not suffer because of this reinstallation work.

3 If required the installation to be done in parts to ensure smooth operations.

4 Vendor has to do tagging of each cable for identification purpose.

Tender Evaluation Criteria

The tender will be evaluated on the basis of overall lowest cost landed price basis including the GST.

Other Terms and Conditions:

1. All the consumables requiredd for executing the jobs mentioned in the scope of work including various

tools, PPE (Boiler Suit any colour except Blue and Red) etc. come in vendor's scope.

2. Vendor shall ensure that all the electrical equipment used are FLP In nature further any tools used shall

be NON-SPARKING type only. Under no circumstances Non FLP equipment/ Equipment with exposed

wires/ Non FLP JBs shall be allowed inside the depot for use.

3. Utmost care to be taken while excavation for buried cables.

4. Worker shall ensure to take all safety precautions as prescribed by the engineering. Safety of the contract

workman shall be the responsibility of contractor. All applicable safety norms of the corporation shall be

5. Work permits have to be taken for each job. Daily renewal of the same shall be done. Work permits

shall be issued for normal working hours i.e. from 08:30 hours to 17:00 hours. Any extension of timing shall

be job specific and separately taken.

6. Housekeeping in the workplace shall be of highest standards. Used materials shall not be allowed to

accumulate/lie around the workplace.

7. Its the vendor's responsibility to take away the used and unused paint boxes after the completion of the

work. In no case, he will store the painting materials and equipment inside the depot.

8. FLP integrity of Cables /Equipment used for cleaning equipment any similar electrical equipment shall

be ensured by Vendor.

9. The contractor has to communicate / give safety talks before start of job, detailing the work involved.

Dos and Don'ts of the work assigned, safety working procedures, actions in emergency etc.

10. Contractor shall abide by all the directives related to jobs undertaken issued by BPCL officer in charge

11. The work involves working in a running installation hence party shall visit the site before quoting and

shall satisfy himself with work quantum and safety requirements.

12. Match box, lighters, mobile phones, flash cameras, gutkha etc. are not allowed inside the installation

14. All the contract workmen engaged shall wear the personal protective equipment e.g., safety belt, safety

shoe, photo identity passes, uniform etc.

15. All workers shall have undergone medical health checkup carried out not less than 6 months from job

starting date in line to factory rules and shall possess health card, valid ID card, Police verifications.

16. The Vendor shall be fully responsible for the verification of credentials and the reliability of everyone

deployed by it in BPCL premises.

17. Vendor needs to submit undertaking form for the workers as per the format provide the M/s BPCL

before deploying them for work.

18. In case the contractor fails to perform the job, the Corporation reserves the right to make alternate

arrangements to perform the same and the loss/damage incurred if any by the Corporation on account of the

same shall be deducted from the amount payable to Contractor by the Corporation

19. The contractor shall in all respects comply with all statutory requirements/provisions as applicable under

labor act 1970, payment of wages act, gratuity act minimum wages act, PF act ESI act etc. and will be solely

responsible for all claims and responsibilities arising out of any dispute their under. Further the contractor

shall always keep BPCL indemnified against any liability under the provision of the carious statutory acts.

BPCL shall not be responsible for any complaints from statutory authority.

20. Corporation reserves right to deduct penalty/deductions from the presented bills for bad performance or

non-execution or delay in execution of jobs as per scope of work.

21. Cost incurred on account of Police verification/ ID card / uniform / safety shoes / helmet / PPE /

Insurance is under vendor's scope. No amount will be reimbursed by the corporation for the same.

22. Workmen are required to follow proper discipline inside depot premises which includes proper Uniform,

PPEs, ID cards failing which entry into depot premises will be restricted

23. General working time in Depot is from 0830 hrs. to 1700 hrs. No additional payment outside tender will

be done for job done on holidays/ Sundays, extended hours working.

24. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to depute adequate manpower/ supervisor/ tools and

trolley/vehicle for getting the job done in time.

25. The cost incurred for shifting of material is purely under vendor's scope. No additional payment will be

done for shifting of the material.

26. The contractor will have to abide by all statutory provisions under contract such as labor act

payment of wages act, gratuity act minimum wages act, PF act ESI act and will be solely responsible for all

claims and responsibilities arising out of any dispute there under.

27. No escalation in price will be entertained during the contract period
