Notes applicable to all items :- (a) All civil work required like masonry wall cut outs and jurry work to pass Pipes, Cables & Ducts at site shall deemed to be included in quoted rates of respective items. Also required PCC foundations for Chillers, Pumps, AHU, Electrical panel board, expansion tank, cooling tower, etc shall deemed to be included in quoted rates of respective items. The cut outs shall be closed and finished to the original finish after completion of work and same is included in the rates. (b) The contractor shall employ his own operators to run the installations round the clock after Phase-I test till successful completion of Phase-II without any extra cost to Government even though the installations have been provisionally taken over by MES.

Taking down cement plaster of any description including racking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brickwork/PCC block or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc and removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation etc) or insulation boards / slabs / blankets any thickness, including cover fillets complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete as in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) including removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of cast iron, wrought iron or mild steel work of any description and from any position not otherwise provided for in this Schedule (BOQ), complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of Asbestos cement Corrugated or semi corrugated sheets etc any thickness including ridges as in roof covering and stacking at site where directed and removal of debris to outside MoD land and depositing where directed complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), stacking serviceable tiles at site and removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for factory made pre cast cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block masonry with solid blocks, exceeding 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, base of columns etc., basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4, type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in columns, pillars, piers, posts, struts and the like complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4, type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, canopies, deck slab, shelves and the like complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete1:2:4, type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span and the like complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams and similar work, vertical or to batter for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

Formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions, square, rectangular or polygonal for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work; not exceeding 200 mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

Formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunching, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including supports, overhangs, etc. also splays between floors and beams, etc. for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified & as directed.

All as per serial item No. 18 here-in-before but 6 to 10 mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders.

S&F rolled mild steel sections as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters, purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors, steel ladders etc fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates etc conforming to Fe-410 W (Gde E-250) quality-A complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F rolled mild steel work as in Plates (plain or chequered) channels. Square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with bolted or welded attachment, including necessary welding etc. conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) quality 'B’ complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof coverings/ ridges/ cladding to walls, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified & as directed. Notes : (i) Colour of sheet shall be as approved by the GE. (ii) Quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of scaffolding, safety net, safety belt, etc

S&F 8 mm thick calcium silicate board of siliceous and calcareous material reinforced with cellulose fibre board with frame work with screws fixed to false ceiling with and including galvanised iron powder coated (white) snap Grid of size 600x600 mm with main 'T' and cross 'T' having web 25mm, flange 35mm, thickness 0.70mm, wall angle having web/flange 25mm each, 0.70mm thick fixed with soft cleats having web 25mm, flange 25mm and thickness 1.8mm using 4mm dia GI wire and level clip @ 1200mm centre to centre with PVC rawl plug with & including 8mm thick calcium silicate board as described fixing with clips etc. and ceiling board fixed as per manufacturer's instructions with & including two coats of oil emulsion distemper (OBD) over a coat of primer on ceiling with & including taking down existing electrical fittings/fixtures and wiring in ceiling and re-fixing the same to its original position or different locations, after completion of ceiling work including testing on completion as ordered complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 2mm thick PVC tiles/ sheets, laminated plain coloured, marbled mosaic or mottled finish, laid with approved rubber based adhesive in floors complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on stone masonry surfaces or surfaces other than fair faces of brick work of walls, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by mechanical means (any number of layers) by hand held sander/ long handle sander, including cleaning of mortar drops, smoke soot, moulds, moss, efflorescent salts, trading oil, greasy spots etc and preparation of plastered surfaces and applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper (OBD) of approved shade/tint over a coat of primer over & including 3mm thick white cement based wall care putty on walls complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surface of walls and finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 Kg/10 sqm) as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by mechanical means (any number of layers) by hand held sander/ long handle sander, rubbing down, stopping of distempered & Jet pressure washing and painted surface of wall and applying 3mm thick white cement based wall care putty over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth and finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 Kg/10 sqm), as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified & as directed.

Cutting/ Chipping/ Dismantling of spall / loose damaged concrete of distressed member in a controlled manner carefully by low impact high frequency hammer or by manual chipping without damaging the existing concrete upto good parent concrete to expose the existing reinforcement (direct hammering should be avoided) average thickness of 50-75 mm including cleaning the exposed surfaces by water jet pressure pump at 4 to 5 kg/ Sqcm pressure to remove chlorides and loose particles, air drying the surface etc for further treatment with & including all necessary tools, safety measures like helmet, safety belt, adequate labour insurance, scaffolding, etc. under the supervision of qualified supervisor (the damaged ceiling/ concrete shall only be measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying concrete penetrating, migratory bipolar corrosion inhibitor EPCO KP-100 Krishna Conchem (or equivalent of Dr. Fixit / SIKA / Fosroc / Pidilite / BASF / Sunanda / Asian) conforming to ASTMG-109 by brush/spray with dosage of 4 sqm/litre over the entire chipped off/ exposed concrete area in order to arrest further corrosion of reinforcement bars. The application of EPCO KP-100 shall reduce the corrosion in terms of coulombs by 30% minimum upto migration through the embedded side of concrete as measured by mA all as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and all as per manufacturer’s instructions, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing epoxy bonding material to bonding of old concrete to new concrete by using and applying 25mm average thickness water compatible high strength thritropic ready use mortar (REP-PATCH 45 T of infinite Options or equivalent of Dr. Fixit / SIKA / Fosroc / Pidilite / BASF / Sunanda / Asian) finished even and smooth complete all as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and all as per manufacturer’s instructions, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable AC plants of capacity 17 TR and 20 TR complete from DFO & 2M DET bldg including ducting, machineries, all types of piping, insulations, Cooling tower, Motor, Pump, AHU, Electric panels and electrical connections with connected accessories including demolition & disposal of PCC foundation etc. including making good of disturbed surfaces and depositing components such as Compressor, Motor, Pump, condenser, cooling tower, etc of AC plant bearing MES number to MES Store Yard of AGE E/M (N) Jamnagar and removing off the balance material from site complete all as directed.

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of water cooled, floor mounted water chilling plant 8.5TR x 3 Nos (2 Working + 1 Standby) at DFO Bldg complete with sealed Scroll type multiple compressors, VFD starter, Shell & Tube Chiller (DX/ Flooded), Water cooled shell & tube type Condenser, common Base frame/ skid structure, Inter connected Copper Refrigerant piping, Vibration Isolators as per OEM recommendation, Gauge Panel, Flexible connectors at Chiller connections, Automatic Safety Controls, Ozone friendly CFC Free Refrigerant Gas R-407C/ 410A/ Green refrigerant & Oil, Nitrile Rubber Insulation on chiller, offered machine has to be BMS compatible with open protocol and micro-processor based controller with min 7" touch screen display etc to ensure proper functioning of plant to meet the inside design conditions as specified.
