M&L for water proofing of PS Overhead tank of 9600-10000 Glns by applying the following (a) PS Steel surfaces shall be treated with rearm rust remover to remove mild scale and rust .application of rearm rust remover by brush in case of heavy rust remove loose rust by wire brushing hammering or sand blusting then apply re arm rust remover on effected surfaces to react for 15-30 minutes . Then the rusty surfaces will change their colour.after that remove the loose particles of rust by wire brush. (b) Removed panel old inter panel sealent and use sika gard 694F(i) a solvent free two component A and component at recommended ratio and prepair the sealing material and use it in between the joining panels as sealant.assure all the interplate joints are sealed in appropriate manner. (c) stir the harderner and resing individually with mechanised stirrer of proper size then add the entire content of hardner into resin container and stir the two components throughly using a low speed mixer for about 2 to 3 minutes until a uniform color of the mixture is obatained .one coat of COAT ZP need to apply above total inside steel surfaces where needed. (d) after through mixing of a base and hardner, the mixed material is apllied by brush on the steel or concrete substrate.Since the pot life is very short ,application must be done very quickly.the second coat is apllied where it is needed and when the first coat is tack free(inside the tank apllication) (e) Scaffolding Note: the item and material should be carried out through the external agency and test certifcate also submitted after completion of the work with guarantee/warranty by the agency and all cost is deemed to be included in quoated rate .
