Civil Work

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sand stone) including removing spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75m as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, leveling dressing & ramming the bottom, bailing out water etc. as required complete. a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1500mm.

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth in layers not exceeding 150mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work). (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layer not exceeding 150mm. as directed and consolidating the same by through saturation with water ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand.

Dismantling all types of masonry excepting cement concrete plain of reinforced, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m. In ground floor.

Dismantling all types of plain cement concrete works, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m. In ground floor.

Dismantling R.C. floor, roof, beams etc. including cutting rods and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m. including stacking of steel bars. In ground floor.

Removal of rubbish, earth etc. from the working site and disposal of the same beyond the compound, in conformity with the Municipal/ Corporation Rules for such disposal, loading into truck and cleaning the site in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Single brick flat soling of picked jhama bricks including removing & dressing bed to proper level & filling joints with powered earth or local sand.

Cement concrete with graded stone ballast (40mm size excluding shuttering). In ground floor. Pakur variety. 1:3:6 proportion.

Ordinary Cement Concrete (mix 1: 2: 4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant 1S codes. Pakur variety. Consider a distance of 10 Km from sealdah railway station.

Ordinary Cement Concrete (mix 1: 1.5: 3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. Pakur variety. Consider a distance of 10 Km from sealdah railway station. In ground floor and foundation.

Hire & labour charges of shuttering with centering & necessary staging up to 4m. using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required |bracing for concrete slabs, beams, columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing & striking out after completion of work (up to roof of ground floor) a) 25mm to 30mm thick shuttering without staging in foundation.

Hire & labour charges of shuttering with centering & necessary staging up to 4m. using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams, columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing & striking out after completion of work (up to roof of ground floor) a) Steel shuttering or 9 to 12 mm thick approved quality ply board shuttering in any concrete work.

Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders etc. including supply of rods, initial straightening and removal of loose rust ( if necessary ) cutting to requisite length, hooking & bending to correct shape, placing in proper position & binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every inter section complete as per drawing and direction. For work in foundation and up to roof of ground floor/ up to 4mtr mild steel/ Tor steel. SRMB/SHYAM/ELEGANT/ELECTROSTEEL.

Brick work with 1 class bricks in cement mortar (1:6). In Foundation & Plinth.

125mm thick brick work with 1 class bricks in cement mortar (4:1). i) In super structure ground floor.

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand cenment mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and racking out joints or roughening of concrete surface by chipping etc. including throating, nosing and drip course where necessary. Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface. a) In ground floor, 15 mm thick plaster with (1:6) cement mortar.

Neat cement punning about 1.5 mm. thick in wall, dado, window, sills, floor, drain etc.

M.S structural works in columns, beams etc. with simplel rolled structural members (e.g, joists, angles, channel (Sections) conforming to 1S 226, IS 808 &t SP (6) 1964 connected to one another with bracket, gusset, cleats as per direction of Engineer-in-charge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS 816 1956 & IS 9595 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS 814 1957, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hires charges of all tools and plants and labour required for the work including all incidental charges, labour insurance charges etc. For structural members of specified section weighing less than 22.5 Kg/m.

Supplying delivery & spreading approved quality double washed black stone completely free from weathered and dead materials (the item includes transport charge, loading unloading & stacking to conmplete). 37.5 mm size pakur variety. Consider a distance of 10 Km from Sealdah railway station.
