GE I R AND D/CHD-116/2025-26 REPAIR AND MAINT OF HT UG/OH SUPPLY NETWORK, TRANSFORMERS AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS AT CHANDIGARH AND TBRL RANGE RAMGARH

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 mtr deep in loose/soft soil and getting out for underground cable/erection of poles, stays , trench etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting of steel tubular HT poles including removing rusted particles and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide including cross arms, supports, clamps, etc and providing different colour strip upto height 1.5 mtr from coping using synthetic enamel paints complete all as specified and directed. Note: Colour of paint for strips and no of strips shall be approved by Engr-in Charge.

Material and labour for demolition of cement concrete / cutting of road/floor/hard standing/tiles/walls/pole coping etc for laying of LT cables/pipes/earth lead with suitable mechanism complete all as specified and directed. Note: Cable, pipes and PCC for finishing / filling disturbed area shall be measure and paid for separately under relevant item

Material and labour for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate cast-in-situ as mass filling, road filling, coping of pole ,around the pole and filling/finishing of disturbed area of road/floor/hard standing/tiles/walls and any other surface etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded aggregate, mechanically crushed stone in wall, retaining wall any thickness, size, shape, base of pole in pole pit and foundation etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only tinned copper fuse wire 10 SWG to 45 SWG complete all as specified and directed. Note: Size shall be decided by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick layers complete all as specified and directed

Removal of excavated material n.exc 50 mtr away and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above from starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting & taking out defective underground cable any size and any type from trenches, pole, pipe, floor, wall etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: . (i) New cable may be laid down at separate location or route and old unserviceable cable may be retrieved from separate location as per site requirement. (ii) Size , type and quantity of cable shall be issued in credit as actual found at site.

Supply and laying, connecting and testing XLPE underground cable insulated, and overall sheathed with aluminium conductor heavy duty 1100 volts grade 70 sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches/ on poles/ road crossing or passing through existing/new pipe under road crossing, clamping on wall etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Earth work, removing, returning filling, PCC and pipe shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Cost of laying electrical cable through new/existing pipe under road, buildings, highways are incl in the quoted rates. (iii) All equipment, machinery or tools if required for laying electrical cable through new/existing pipes are provided by the contractor without any extra cost. (iv) New cable may be laid down at separate location or route and old unserviceable cable may be retrieved from separate location as per site requirement

(ii) Qty, size, type of old cross-arms may be different from cross-arms. (iii) Credit shall be issued as per actual retrieved from site.

Material and labour cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts and wasters, clamps, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat paint, shape and size complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down old unserviceable GOD complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Old unserviceable GODs shall be retrieved from separate location and new GODs shall be fixed at new location as per site requirement. (ii) Qty, size , type of old GODs may be different from new GODs. (iii) Credit shall be issued as per actual retrieved from site.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of air break gang operated triple switch( GOD) outdoor type , vertical mounting type of capacity 200 Amp with drop out fuse consisting 12 insulators ISI marked mechanically operated mounted on insulator and frame work with operating GI rods and mechanical work from ground level with locking arrangement including Godrej pad lock with two keys complete with fuse carrier and HT fuse element having upto 100 amp rating suitable for HT 11 KV 50 HZ AC supply including necessary electric connection complete all as specified and directed .

Supply, install, test and commission lightening arrestor suitable for HT 11 KV expulsion type 65 KA 11 KV rating incl complete connections in replacement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing & laying GI tubing light grade 150 mm dia for road crossing along with pole/culvert /drainage for mechanical protection of cable incl dismantling and taking down old unserviceable GI/HDPE pipe any size complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) All items and accessories , bend, joints, nut bolts, clamps etc are incl in quoted rates.

Dismantling and taking down old unserviceable concrete poles/ struts, any size any type complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Old unserviceable poles shall be retrieved from separate location and new poles will be fixed at new location as per site requirement. (ii) Qty, size , type of old poles may be different from new poles. (iii) Credit shall be issued as per actual retrieved from site. (iv) Rate of earth work, labour, machinery etc shall be included in quoted rate.

Supply and fixing steel tubular swaged pole 11 metre long completed with base plate finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screw all as specified type 410, SP-55 (11 metres long) ISI Marked, completed with cast iron/MS base plate, taper plug, bolts, but washers and screws as required duly painted with two coats of epoxy based paint aluminium grade finish to remaining external surface over one coat of suitable primer completed all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for new earthing complete with galvanised earth plate electrode 60cm x60cmx 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25m below ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of galvanise iron or steel up to DB including earth work , PCC work, CI cover, funnel with watering pipe, wire mesh etc all as shown on plate No.3 of SSR Part-I, connected to earthing test point or indicated and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Rate of earth work, earthing electrode, all connections, nut-bolts, washers, complete labour, testing, earth lead upto 7.5 mtr, char coal dust, common salt, porcelain insulator, PCC earth Pit, CI frame ,RCC cover, funnel with wire mesh, watering pipe, earth lead protection pipe are incl in quoted rate .

Material and labour for danger notice board/plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet , vitreous enamelled white with letters, figures , and conventional skull and bone in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps bolts approved size for HT 25cmx20 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Material , labour and equipment for detecting of fault in HT UG cable with fault locator equipment to locate the fault in HT cable complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) The fault which is detected through cable fault locater will only be paid under this item (b) Charges of cable fault locator and DG set including transportation charges deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (c ) Earth fault locator will be provided by the contractor for even single fault and no delay on this account will be acceptable otherwise penalty shall levied Rs 1000/- per day. (d) Necessary testing of cable after making joint will be deemed to be including in the cost of relevant item. However necessary earth work cable cutting , joint making Joint shall be paid under relevant item.

Calibration/setting of protection devices, relays fixed in HT/LT panels with all protection function (overcurrent, earth fault protection), tripping test of overcurrent and earth fault relay through primary and secondary injection machine, testing of auxiliary relay, tripping test through all respected relays and provide report complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) All equipments, tools , labour, incl in the quoted rates. (ii) Contractor shall provide test report of calibration of relay. (iii) Unserviceable part or items shall be replaced, measured and paid for separately under relevant item.

Servicing and repair of HT vacuum circuit breaker (VCBs), RMU and HT panel after taking proper shut down and disconnecting all electric supply , maint , cleaning, servicing and testing of HT breaker , bus bar, CTs, PTs, IR value, control cables connections, meters connection, tightening and checking of AC and DC supply, testing of CT and PT , tightening and checking of control wires and other allied works , removing moisture and dust from HT breaker and inside of HT breaker through CRC spray and dry cloths, testing for leakage current , testing of IR value of breaker, testing and checking of operating mechanism, testing and checking of AC and DC supply, testing of opening release and shunt closing , lubricants of all moving parts, testing and operation of On/Off through TNC switch and push button ,checking of anti-pump device, repair of racking mechanism, earth alignment, tightening of loose connection and allied work at 11 kV substations complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Measurement of resistance value, tools , labour, petroleum jelly, CRC spray, dry cloths, nut -bolt, washers etc incl in the quoted rates. (ii) Contractor shall provide test report of internal resistance. (iii) Rates of complete fixing, connection and testing of parts are incl in quoted rates.

(iv) Parts, spares and anti tracking coating spray shall be measured and paid for separately.

Servicing and repair of air circuit breaker (ACBs), and LT panel after taking proper shut down and disconnecting all electric supply , maint , cleaning, servicing and testing of LT breaker , bus bar, CTs, PTs, control cables connections, meters connection, tightening and checking of AC and DC supply, testing of CT and PT , tightening and checking of control wires and other allied works , removing moisture and dust from LT breaker and inside of LT breaker through CRC and dry cloths, testing and checking of operating mechanism, testing and checking of AC and DC supply, testing of opening release and shunt closing , lubricants of all moving parts, testing and operation of On/Off through switch and push button ,checking of anti-pump device, repair of racking mechanism, earth alignment, tightening of loose connection and allied work at substations complete, all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Tools , labour, petroleum jelly , CRC spray, dry cloths, nut -bolt, washers etc incl in the quoted rates. (ii) Rates of complete fixing, connection and testing of parts are incl in quoted rates. (iii) Parts, spares and anti tracking coating spray shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply only highly HT insulating opaque red coloured anti track coating spray (SPRAY-320 of MOSIL) that forms flexible chemical resistance coating to class H winding for electrical apparatus, in 500 ml spray bottles to protect HT equipment, bus bar, CTs, PTs from current leakage due to moisture complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting HT/LT cable and earthing connections of unserviceable transformer of capacity upto 200 KVA, 11 kV/433 Volts 3 phase, Pole/floor mounted, taking from site of installation carefully with the help of crane and transportation of the same from site to workshop and installed back at site after repair. Dismantling complete and taking out the core assembly , draining transformer oil, removing unserviceable parts, refilling oil, ovening of reassembling of winding assembly at factory site, carrying out routine tests, including transportation and fixing back at site, complete connection all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Contractor shall be provide labour, machinery , tools, crane, transportation required. (ii) All parts shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items. (iii) Fixing charges of parts/spares are incl in quoted rates.

Disconnecting HT/LT cable and earthing connections of unserviceable transformer of capacity 250 KVA to 500 KVA, 11 kV/433 Volts 3 phase, pole/floor mounted, taking from site of installation carefully with the help of crane and transportation of the same from site to workshop and installed back at site after repair. Dismantling complete and taking out the core assembly , draining transformer oil, removing unserviceable parts, refilling oil, ovening of reassembling of winding assembly at factory site, carrying out routine tests, including transportation and fixing back at site, complete connection all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Contractor shall be provide labour, machinery, tools, crane, transportation required. (ii) All parts shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items. (iii) Fixing charges of parts/spares are incl in quoted rates.

Disconnecting HT/LT cable and earthing connections of unserviceable transformer of capacity 630 KVA to 1600 KVA, 11 kV/433 Volts 3 phase , Pole/floor mounted, taking from site of installation carefully with the help of crane and transportation of the same from site to workshop and installed back at site after repair. Dismantling complete and taking out the core assembly, draining transformer oil, removing unserviceable parts, refilling oil, ovening of reassembling of winding assembly at factory site, carrying out routine tests, including transportation and fixing back at site, complete connection all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Contractor shall be provide labour, machinery, tools, crane, transportation required. (ii) All parts shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items. Material and labour for heating, filtration and dehydration of transformer oil with dehydration/ filtration plant to achieve dielectric strength of 40KV at 2.5 mm gap, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Any damage occurred to transformer during the process of dehydration, shall be made good by the

contractor at his own expenses to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-in-charge.

Supply and pouring new transformer oil as per IS : 335 (1993) for transformers/servo stabilizer installed at various site or in repair for topping up after dehydration to achieve the di electric strength 60 KV at 2.5 mm gap, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Transformer oil shall be brought at site in sealed container from the original manufacturer and shall be opened in front of Engr-in-charge. Container shall be deposited by the contractor to the deptt, which shall be returned after completion of contract

Supply and fixing in replacement of breather transparent type suitable for step down distribution transformers of capacity upto 200 KVA complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing in replacement of breather transparent type suitable for step down distribution transformers of capacity 250 KVA-500 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of breather transparent type suitable for step down distribution transformers of capacity 630 KVA-1600 complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing of combined over current and earth fault numerical relay with input current 1A/5A and auxiliary voltage 24 V incl complete installation in 11 kV VCB panel, complete connections and testing at 11 KV sub stations as per instruction from OEM complete all as specified and directed. Make: Model CG14N of CG or equivalent in ABB or Siemens. Note: (i) Relay shall be fixed in existing HT panel incl cutting , welding, drilling or any other suitable means , using metal palets or shall be fixed in separate cabinet without any extra cost. (ii) All type of wires required for proper connection shall be provided by contractor without any extra cost. (iii) Proper functioning and testing shall be carried out without any extra cost to department.

Supply and fixing of master tripping relay of auxillery voltage 24 V/110V AC/DC incl complete installation in 11 kV VCB panel, complete connections and testing at 11 KV sub stations as per instruction from OEM complete all as specified and directed. Make: CG, ABB or Siemens. Note :(i) Relay shall be fixed in existing HT panel incl cutting , welding, drilling or any other suitable means or will be fixed in separate cabinet without any extra cost to department (ii) All type of wires required for proper connection will be provided by contractor without any extra cost to department. (iii) Proper functioning and testing will be carried out without any extra cost to department.

Supply and fixing of Pure Sine wave Automatic Inverter / home UPS for auxillary AC/DC supply required for VCBs is equipped with fan for cooling, power active switch, MCB protection and bypass switch which keeps supplying output from grid even in case of inverter faults, LCD display, charging current not less than 12A, efficiency 95 %, suitable for 24 Volts incl 2 nos batteries, 12 volts and 150 AH (with 24 Month warranty) each Input 220/240 Volts, 50 Hz, output power not less than 1200 watt , 220/240 vots AC alongwith standard accessories incl dismantling and taking down old unser power pack complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing of retro reflective sign board of size 3 feet x 2.5 feet made of ACP sheet shall be fixed on 2 nos MS angle (35mmx35mmx5 mm) of length 2.0 mtr. Angle shall be fixed not less than 0.5 mtr under the ground with PCC and 1.5 mtr above the ground level. The background of board to be provided with green colour, letters and border with white retro reflective tape. The size of letters and description shall be complete all as specified and directed Note: Rate of earth work, PCC, nut/bolts, washers, MS angle and other items required for fixing shall be incl in quoted rates.
