Hedge / shrub planting: For 0.3 mtrs.depth trench, filling with existing soil and farmyard manure at 4:1 ratio, internal transportation of plants, planting etc.,including the application of fertilizers and pesticides etc., (@ 20 ms/pit/sqmt) complete for item of work, but excluding the cost of the fertilizers (@ 20 gms/pit/sqmt) and plant material etc., -unit 1 Sqmt of work. (*10 No./Sqm of plants & bag size shall be arrived based on the spacing as per the design.)

Bed preparation for Ground cover / Flower beds: Digging in ordinary soils 150 mm depth and Formation of 150 mm. Providing of Independent Earthing with 40mm Dia GI Pipe 'B' class of 2.5 Mtrs length after excavating an earth pit of size1.5 m X 0.9 m X 2.55 m(Top 1.50 m X 0.90 m X 0.9m & bottom 1.20 m X 0.90 m X 1.65 m) with the following specification:-

(a) the GI pipe shall be inserted into the Ground for 2.25 M below the inspection chamber bottom 300 mm all around This pipe shall be covered with the mixture of 40 Kgs of coke, 20 Kgs of salt & sand including necessary earth work excavation in all kind of soils. (b) the excavated gap shall be back filled with excavated earth, and shall be properly consolidated with water.

(c) the top 0.25 m of GI pipe shall be exposed into inspection chamber of 0.40 X 0.40 X 0.40 m internal size . The all around inspection chamber shall be provided with 0.1 m thick CC (1:2.5:5) walls with 20 mm thick HBG metal such that the pit shall be exposed 100 mm above ground level. The bottom of the inspection chamber shall be provided with 100 mm thick CC (1:2.5:5) using 20 mm HBG metal with 200 mm outer offset at all four sides. (d) All the inside & outside exposed faces of the inspection chamber shall be plastered with CM (1:3) 12 mm thick.

(e) A 65 mm dia PVC conduit is to be embedded through 100 mm thick wall at one side, to lay the Earth from the Earth bus to the Electrode through the PVC conduit and after laying the Earth, the pit entry PVC conduit is to be sealed with Bitumen compound. (f) The top of the 40 mm dia GI pipe shall be welded with reducer of 20mm dia connected with 20mm dia of 0.3 long GI pipe and 20 mm GI pipe is to be fixed with funnel & wire mesh.

(g) After giving earth connections to the 25 X 6 mm GI flat with bolts, nuts & washers, a pre-casted RCC (1:2:4) slab cover of 40 mm thick with lifting hook is to provided on top of the Earth pit. (h) Necessary Meggar testing is to bo done in the presence of the concerned Engineers, and the reading should be as per IE standards.

Earth Work excavation for trench for laying of U.G. Cable in ordinary Soils, manual means to the required width and depth and depositing the same on bank as directed during execution etc., complete .

Supply & fixing of 1 1/4" dia 'B' class GI pipe not exceeding 1.5Mtr long with necessary bending (120° to 135°) to the wall or to the pole as directed during execution duly grouting 2 Nos. of MS angles of 35x35x5mm having length 20Cm (grouted portion of MS angle into the wall 7.5cm) and fixing with 2 Nos. of MS clamps fabricated with 25mmx3mm MS flat with suitable holes and 4 Nos. of 3/8"x2" MS bolts, nuts & washers for fixing on the wall / 2 Nos. of suitable MS clamps with bolts, nuts for fixing to the pole etc., complete. A 16Amp fuse unit is to be fixed to the MS angle / clamp and giving necessary connections with 14/0.3mm PVC copper flexible wire from pole to the fuse unit and to the fitting or from Ceiling rose in the building to the fuse unit and to the fitting with link clips etc., and the GI pipe has to be painted with two coats of enamel grey paint over one coat of red oxide paint.

Supply and fixing of thermo plastic box single/double street light fittings of size 330 X 230 X 120 mm made with thermo plastic pole box of Hensel/sintex make of IP65 protection with door consisting 6mm hylen sheet,4nos brass,bolts& nuts and washere has to be fixed to the pole above and with necessaryback clapm(1'' X18MS flax) and 1X1/8 GI bolt & nuts and washeres as directed during execution.
