Attending of day to day complaints, repair wks of E/M nature pertains to External water supply comprise of checking of existing water supply pipe lines / items i.e. supply and distribution pipelines of any size and Geysers with connected accessories like socket ,union,Tee/elbow, flange,reducers, etc for uninterrupted water supply; checking of pipelines for detection of defects/faults with necessery excavation/ refilling as required, carrying out repairs etc as required to make the lines functional or to restore water supply with and incl cleaning ,re-threading the old threads, cutting, welding work including supply and replacement of flanged/socket/union /reducer/tee/elbow etc with and including all necessary GI nut bolts, fibre/rubber gasket sheet and welding work wherever required for pipelines upto any size,taking out and refixing nut bolts/rubber washers, bearings, of motors and alignment of coupling of pumps etc ,refixing of broken connections/ open/underground pipe lines and replacing defective items provided under relevant item(s) here-in-after or any item issued under Sch 'B' free for fixing, with and incl repairs items/materials i.e. nipples, threads,packing, arrangement of welding machine wherever reqd, in Md/OTM Accn and in any location within the area of Ranikhet by deploying qualified pipe fitter alongwith suitable T&P, safety equipment & other necessary devices, every day including Sunday and Holiday, during time from 9:00 AM to 05:00 PM, complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 01 : (i) All the complaint(s) received will be lodged & rectified by the contractor rep and will have to maintain a proper record as directed in complaint register and in complaint slip complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (a) Complaint slip and complaint register will be provided by the contractor without any extra charge. (b) Complaint register will be produced on daily basis to JE and Engr-in-charge (c) Contractor or his tradesmen fails to attend and rectify the complaint(s), as described earlier, on same day or any stipulated time given by the JE/Engineer-in-charge, the penal recovery / penalty of Rs. 200.00 (Rupees Two Hundred only) per complaint per day for first day and after that Rs. 500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only) per complaint per day shall be recovered from the contractor’s dues. (d) Complaint Slip to be clearly having contact number and sign of user post addressal of complaint and the deposited slips post addressing of complaints to be put up to accepting officer every 15 days.

Contractor shall provide and deploy adequate experienced professional to carry out day to day complaints and tradesman will remain present in Ranikhet area from 0900Hrs to 1700 Hrs from Monday to Sunday. In case of any breakdown/ emergency, contractor shall make arrangement to attend and rectify the complaints in odd hours on sunday/ holiday also. The rates quoted in sch 'A' respective items shall be deemed to be included and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.Note:whatever be the nature of water supply complaint the wholesole rectification responsibilty lies with the contractor complete all as specified and as directed.

Any major items/materials which are required to be replaced with new one i.e. valves, packing for flanged joints,geyser items such as heating element, thermostat, pvc pipes etc shall be either mesaured & paid separately under respective item(s) or issued for "Free for Fixing only" complete all as specified and as directed.

The cost of transportation (to and from) and other necessary T&P (i.e. pipe wrenches,screw driver set each sizes,L keys,Hammer, die set of any size, line tester, combination and cutting pliers, cutting knife, drill machine, hand gloves suitable for available voltages, Test lamp with conductor and holder etc), equipment and safety gear shall be arranged / brought by contractor to complete the job and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect complete all as specified and as diirected.

Taking out old unserviceable gun metal, globe or gate valve including S & F gun metal, globe or gate valves ISI marked class-I, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends, for iron pipe bore dia of 50 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing Heating Element copper sheathed and nickel plated 2000 Watt traingular/ round type for geysers complete all as specified and directed. Complaint slip signed by user for change of heating element to be produced post execution of item.

Supply & Fix Heating Element round type 230 volt , 2 KW, Make Bajaj, Model NO 1018 or equivalent as specified by GE complete all as specified and directed. Complaint slip signed by user for change of heating element to be produced post execution of item.

Supply & Fixing PVC Flexi Connection braided with PTMT nut internally threaded suitable for 15 bore of pipe, 450 mm long complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing Thermostate autocut ISI marked 7" long suitable for any type and any capacity geyser all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing Thermostate autocut ISI marked 11" long suitable for any type and any capacity geyser all as specified and directed.

M&L for Supply & fixing Non return valve for geyser complete all as specified and directed.

S & F inner tank of geyser cap 25 Ltr of MS steel sheeting thickness of gauge 20 (Geyser make: Bajaj, Usha, racold, venus,v guard, pearl etc ) complete all as specified and directed.

S & F inner tank of geyser cap 35 Ltr of MS steel sheeting thickness of gauge 20 (Geyser make: Bajaj, Usha, racold, venus,v guard, pearl etc ) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing oniy galvanised iron ISI marked heavy duty drilled flanged suitble for 80 mm bore pipe line complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old U/S sluice valve for replacement including new sluice valve of cast iron body flanged and drilled as per ISI 14846 (ISI Marked) specifications PN-1.6 with stainlessnuts, bolts, washers & fibre/rubber gasket steel spindle including all accessories such as of following size :-

(a)150 mm size

(b)100 mm size

(c) 80 mm size

Supply and fixing Ball brass float valves,high pressure,with polythene and flynut complete,screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule of size 25 mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing Ball brass float valves,high pressure,with polythene and flynut complete,screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule of size 20 mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of PVC water storage tanks of capacity exc 250 ltr but n.exc 2000 ltrs mechnized dewatening of water including sludge from the tanks, cleaning internal & external tank surfaces with high pressure water spray, vaccum cleaning, anti bacterial spray, UV radiation, spray of bleaching powder including writing date of cleaning (with thick paint in capital bold letter) on each tank etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charg. Note:- Rates includes the following:- (i) Opening & closing of tank covers properly before & after execution of cleaning work. (ii) Removal & refixing of float valves of any size & description before & after execution of work. (iii) Removal of sludge wher directed by Engr-in-charge (iv) User completion certificate shall be produced by the contractor. (v) If damage the tank during the cleaning, will re-fitting with new tank with contractors risk. (vi) If damege the float valve during removal for re-fitting will re-fitting the same with contractor's risk.
