Excavation in soil in Hilly area by all means in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiselling/wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) and other intermediate classification of soil including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposal of unserviceable material by mechanical transport and stacking the serviceable/ useful material on road berms as per technical specification clause 1603.1, 1603.2 or directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The recovery of 3427.69 cubic metre @ Rs. 300/- per cubic metre amounting to Rs. 1028307/- only, shall be done on prorata basis for the quantity of cutting in earth work effected. The work shall be executed in workman like manner and avoids any damages to the private/ Govt. property in the vicinity of work site, if damage access to any property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the whole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Providing and laying Plain cement concrete 1:5:10 (one cement : five sand : ten graded crushed stone aggregate) nominal mix in open foundation with crushed stone aggregate 40mm (Forty millimetre) nominal size mechanically mixed including cost of form work and curring complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated mix 1:6:12 (one cement: six sand: twelve graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of material with in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/ stone masonry/ plain reinforced concrete abutments wing wall, return wall with 100mm (one hundred millimetre) PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structure with slope of I (V) : 20 (H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 614, 709, 1206.6 as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals.

Back filling with granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specifications 1204.3 complete including carriage of material within all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 (One cement : four sand : eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (Forty millimetre nominal size) concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 including the cost of form work and carriage of material with in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of Parapet cement concrete 1:5:10 (one cement : five sand : ten graded crushed stone aggregate) nominal mix in open foundation with crushed stone aggregate 40mm (Forty millimetre) nominal size mechanically mixed including cost of form work and curring complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Coursed rubble masonry (2nd sort) in cement mortar 1:4 (one cement : four sand) for sub structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 702, 704, 1202 and 1206 including curing complete and carriage of material with in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Coursed rubble stone masonary (second sort) in cement mortar 1:6 (one cement : six sand) for sub-structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 702, 704, 1202 & 1206 including curing and carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100x100mm (one hundred into one hundred millimetre) mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 (ten) per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg (twenty five kilogram) each as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301 including hauling/carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts of material to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of dry rubble masonry for retaining walls, breast walls, revetment walls and parapets etcetera for sub structure and super structure complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 704.6 & 1302.5 complete including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, and laying reinforced cement concrete 900mm diameter (Nine hundred millimeter) pipe NP3 as per design for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement: two sand) but excluding excavations, protection works, back filling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets as per drawings and technical specifications for Rural roads clause 1101 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying flooring with rubble stone laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement: three sand) laid over cement concrete bedding (cement concrete bedding to be measured and paid for seperately) curing complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1303 including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross sectional area 0.40 Sqm (zero point forty square metre) in all kind of soils to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment as per technical specification clause 307 including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals or as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing of typical NABARD informatory sign board with logo as per MORD specification and drawings, Three-MS plates of 1.6 mm (one point six millimeter) thick top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5mm (twenty five millimeters into five millimeters) size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm (twenty five millimeters in to twenty five millimeters into five millimeters). The angle iron frame of lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. (two numbers) 75mm x 75mm (seventy five millimeters into seventy five millimeters) of 12 SWG (twelve standard wire gauge) sheet tube posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 fifteen) grade nominal mix 1:2.5:5 (one cement : two and half sand : five graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimeter) nominal size) blocks of 450x450x600mm (four hundred fifty into four hundred fifty into six hundred millimeter), 600mm (six hundred millimeter) below ground level and curing complete. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm (forty seven millimeter into forty seven millimeter) of 12 SWG (twelve standard wire gauge) steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Reinforced cement concrete M-15 (fifteen) grade kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1703 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Reinforced cement concrete M-15 (fifteen) grade 200 metre (two hundred metre) stone /local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1703 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
