ROAD/PATH/HARDSTANDING

M & L Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified. NOTE : Each layer shall be compacted by rolling with 08 to 10 tonne power road roller and a vibratory roller if required. The required amount of water shall be added during consolidation to keep the mositure content of the soil at the optimum as per the test. Density to be achieved for each layer shall not be less than 95% of the density obtained in the laboratory by Proctor method, all as per SSR Part-I, Clause 20.A.15A.3.

M&L for soiling ( or sub base) 200 mm thick (spread thickness) with broken boulders or quarried stone (granite, trap, basalt) broken to size ranging 100mm to 50 mm interstices filled, surfaces formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 150mm compacted thickness in two layers (75mm thick in each layer) Wet Mix Maccadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MORTH specifications, IRC-109-1997 specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant. Material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm paving bitumen complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminus macadem consolidated thickness with 4 % binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen grade VG-30, roled and compacted to reqd gradient and camber complete with paving bitumin complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix (using Paving Bitumin Grade VG-30) rolled and compacted to required camber, gradient and super elevation with 8 to 12 tonne capacity mechanical power roller, mixed in hot mix plant and spread with mechanical paver complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Preparation of New/Old Road surfaces and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of minimum 2mm thick single coat as in centre line and edge line, zebra crossing, stop lines etc., road marking of 150/100mm width using 'HOT MARK' white or golden yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as blinder, glass beads titanium dioxide calcium carbonate inter filler, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be the table No 803.4 of MOST specification including spraying of glass beads etc all as per manufacture's instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
